Not a place for Family Stay
Reviewed By pvagThe place is primarily to cater to male travellers. Is scary to stay with family. Toilets and bathrooms are far away on a diff floor. The ceiling of entire Toilets and Ba ths is dripping dirty water. Won't even stay for free. The owner was kind to shift us to a diff hotel.

Overall I had a good stay and would consider Charyana again the next time I’m in Ahmedabad.
Reviewed By macedonboyStayed here for 4 nights in December in one of the dorms. The dorms are set up like most hostels except that there is about 20 beds in the dorm and the shared bathroom is connected with the dorm with I think about 7 each of shower and toilet cubicles. The beds are custom made bunk beds and very sturdy, so you shouldn’t really notice your bunkmates. Each bunk comes with two electrical sockets, a private light and privacy curtains. There’s also a thin blanket which is not necessary when the AC is off and too thin when it’s on. The mattress and pillows were clean and comfortable. The dorm has a few small tables and chairs where people can sit and eat, but it’s not really a social area. The reception also two couches which again is probably too small to use for socials. Here’s Wifi throughout the hotel, worked well and fast enough for most purposes. Location wise, it’s pretty much in the old city of Ahmedabad and all the attraction are close by or within easy walking distance. There’s also plenty of restaurants close by as well as several local markets, although the latter is more aimed at locals. Overall I had a good stay and would consider Charyana again the next time I’m in Ahmedabad.

Reviewed By jijithattilThey don't have Wi-Fi and air conditioning is for complete dormitory. I had checked in alone so there is no fan over the bed. I pulled a chair from reception for breakfast (brought from my home, not complimentary) and the fellow threw a fit. Placed it back in the reception afterwards but he had pulled a long face by then. Apparently, Big Brother will object on viewing the CCTV footage of my getting to sit under a fan. I felt more in solitary confinement than in a hostel. Rajasthan and Marwari are famous for their hospitality and how they welcome without much noise. Their shrine is tiny, somewhat shy.

Amazing service
Reviewed By Vedupatel1It was pleasant stay for me. Service from staff was really amazing. Location was in centre of the city area. Good place for business. There was tasty food available at reasonable rate. Room was with all basic facilities.
