We were given a powered site near the shower/toilet area. Pretty convenient. The timing for the light sensor could be extended, had to keep coming out of the shower to activate the light. Otherwise was a pleasant stay.

Carmen is a lovely host, so welcoming and made us feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble and stayed up late as our arrival was delayed until just after midnight. Would thoroughly recommend the Spanish Lodge and will definitely book another stay on our next trip, look forward to seeing Carmen again.

We stayed at Blackwood Valley Suites for just one night, but wish we had have been able to stay longer. The incredible hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need; from a phone charging bed side lamp (and additional USB points), the most comfortable king sized bed you will ever sleep in, kitchen and bathroom amenities...even comfy chairs to just sit and enjoy the incredible view. We visited at Easter and had some special Easter chocolates waiting in the room. Nothing was too much for our hosts, Erwin and Brendan, they made us feel exceptionally welcome from the moment we made our booking.

Our 8 rammed-earth cottages are fully self-contained, with each having 2 bedrooms (see note), fully-equipped kitchen, air-conditioned living / dining room and (shared) bathroom. Cottages are randomly scattered on our 20 hectare (50 acre) bush block and we're within easy driving (5kms) distance of Margaret River township, beaches, wineries, cafes, restaurants, shops and the region's best tourist features. All cottages have been completely refurbished and we're the equivalent of a 4-star rated property (4 gumnuts in our terminology). Free Wi-Fi is available in all cottages and (following a great deal of effort) can now support streaming. Note: Our lead-in tariffs are for 1 or 2 persons occupying 1 bedroom. If guests wish to use the 2nd bedroom, we charge an extra bed fee in order to cover the additional costs of linen and cleaning.
Lovely cottage in a fantastic location. Cost environment set amongst bush land, allowing you to wake up with the kangaroos and birds. Many great walking paths through the bush on the property, some leading to wonderful panoramics views of surrounding fields.

Riverglen Chalets has 14 self-contained chalets, set on 7 acres of forest bushland & manicured gardens and a 10 minute stroll into the heart of the Margaret River town. Chalets offer accommodation for couples, families and groups. Enjoy the relaxing setting without giving up the modern way of life. Relax on your balcony, keeping an eye on the children looking for tadpoles in the winter brook pond. Enjoy the warmth of a wood fire which some chalets have to offer or the seasonal ambience of the Spring gardens. Others may choose a relaxing moment in a spa chalet or Jacuzzi on the "House" deck, waiting for your pizza cooking in the wood fire pizza oven. Tap into what the new whisky distillery or the microbrewery has to offer, which are both in close proximity. Riverglen is the ideal place to set your base, being central to the Margaret River Wine Region.
My husband and I, along with 62 family and friends got married at Riverglen Chalets and Margaret River Distilling Company (on the same property) and majority of us stayed in the chalets and it was the most amazing, perfect, intimate wedding. Riverglen were so easy and great to work with and the chalets are so well priced and self-sustainable- we have already booked to stay there again when we go down south again, and plan on going to Margaret River Distilling Company for cocktails and food again too!

Pre-booked a three night stay here. On arrival reception were helpful at check-in. We extended for two nights. Site was a good size and the amenities block at the top part of the campground new and exceptional both for facilities and cleanliness. The older part of the site is closer to the beach and many have beach views but the sites seem smaller and the facilities are older. The newer area at the back is mostly bigger sites with no ocean views but close to the newer facilities. The newest camp kitchen is great but only has a fridge and no freezer for some reason and we didn’t really see the need for the ‘no this’, ‘no that’ signage on some of the freezers in the other kitchens. OK – no fish or bait I understand, but no freezing water bottles? Don’t get that in a place that hits 50C & if you want cold water to last a day it needs to be frozen at the start. Why is ok to put food in the freezer but not freeze bottles of water to keep food cold in your own coolbox? Inconsistent with other campgrounds and a total pain if you don’t have your own fridge/freezer on your site/in your car. Still a great stay though and good staff.

Margaret River Holiday Cottages is the perfect dormitory to explore all the region's unique offerings whilst benefiting from tranquility and space.
We got everything we expected from booking a farm stay here…… and more!!! My kids had so much fun with the friendly animals that every morning the feeding ( and the truck ride ) was their highlight of the day. The cottage was unassuming but comfortable enough for us to have a good night rest. Location was just a short drive to the city centre and we also had the “mini-campfire” at night where kids get to bbq their marshmallows. Of course, Andrew and Jules were also a big plus in our stay with their hospitality. Their attention to small details are really very commendable and Andrew also shared with me he is going to start a noodle cupboard for the guests! I can go on and on with all the positives but guess it’s best you go and have a stay to find it out yourself! ?
