Mainstream tourists haven’t discovered San Vito lo Capo yet—so if you’re looking for a low-key, authentic Italian beach break, now’s the time to book your trip to this seaside Sicilian town. The weather is best in the summer months, but foodies might want to wait till September, when San Vito lo Capo hosts its annual Couscous Festival.

Country charming boutique hotel, between the light blue of the sea and the wonderful green of the nature .
We booked a Luxury West Sicily trip with stays in 3 country hotels and one B&B in Palermo. Our first stay after a winding road trip from was Baglio La Porta, almost and the end of the road past San Vito lo Capo. After a friendly and efficient welcome, we dove into their truly heavenly pool. No description will suffice, just look at the many pictures available on the Internet. But I must say the pool area had the best comfortable couches ever, No problem falling asleep, in the fall - sun :). The Deluxe Twin room is modern, excellent bed, but somewhat small for those used to sleep big. Quiet and secluded. One can opt for a jacuzzi in the garden. Best of the trip for us were the lounge areas and the restaurant. Ample, very friendly staff, excellent cuisine, a new menu every day, and super wines. Breakfast was plentiful, extras like custom-made juices are added to your bill. The Baglio is a short 10 min drive from the North entrance of the Zingaro National Park. A must for every visitor. No entry without good shoes. Interesting vegetation with the local variety of palm tree, and lots of Euphorbia. Secluded little beaches down to the shore, with a fabulously blue sea. In San Vito Lo Capo, the Baglio has a sister hotel on the beach, handy for valet parking and a place on the sand with an umbrella. Lots of little outside in town restaurants for a lunch. With the Zingaro Park and San Vito, the Baglio merits at least a three nights stay.

We have project and realized with intense feeling for over twenty years, for our clients, hotels, residences and holiday apartments, that have always found great successful and have been published on books and architecture magazines. This new-built residence, is the result of the experience and professionalism that we have gained over the years, but especially of our devotion to architecture and design.
Family of four we spent 3 nights in a large, well located and clean appartment The people are nice and the place is close to the sea, walking distance of the shops and center and easy to park No bad surprise

We did not have hot water in apartment. Every time the receptionist said they woul fix it but nothing changed. There was also terrible rumene throught the pipes. We also could not use the oven because when tourned it electricity threw out for the whole apartment. If we wanted to ure the microwave we need to put it on the floor because there was no space elsewhere. The apartment was also ful of flies. The aparment has only a nice look, excellent location and that is all.

The residence Le Palme Conturrana, located in the heart of San Vito Lo Capo, in the immediate proximity to the beach and the town center, with all the comfort and private parking. The location of our structures offers the guests the possibility of spending time in an exclusive, informal and calm atmosphere.
Great location for San Vito Lo capo. However the beds although large enough are very hard and the furniture sparse and badly planned. Nevertheless spotlessly clean. Nice and very clean pool. Plenty of parking. Staff friendly and very helpful. If they get better mattresses would definitely return.

We stayed in San Vito Lo Capo early June 2019. The hotel is not exactly central and there is a 10-15min walk down to the main attractions and the beach, but we didn't mind because we definitely needed to walk it off after all the gelato and pasta consumed! We chose the hotel for the pool and did not regret it at all. Although cold at the time (first few days of June) the pool was clean, refreshing and lovely to lay around. We stayed on the ground floor and im glad we did as we could quite literally climb over our balcony fence onto the sunloungers (quite sure we were not supposed to do that but no one saw us!!) The staff were very polite. The gentleman at the bar/cafe downstairs by reception was brilliant, he was not a confident English speaker but tried really hard to explain when we asked about the nature reserve and the mountain climb. The only reason why I didn't give this a 5 star was misunderstanding that happened at the very start when we arrived. The terms and conditions mention that you must have the card you used to pay for the hotel at the time of check in. Unfortunately I previously had lost that specific bank card, and had the bank issue a new one (same sort code same account number same name). Unfortunately, with the new card and 2 different types of ID, the staff at reception refused to accept it. So we were told politely that we cannot check in. As I tried to explain what happened in English, the gentleman at reception gave me his phone to speak to the boss of the place apparently. This guy was so rude! He told me it's my own problem and it is my fault and I need to understand it - literally in those words. In the end I had to pay the hotel fee again(for the whole week) and they promised to refund the previous fee I paid. Obviously it made me anxious throughout the stay as the refund didn't actually come back in until the end of our holiday and I had just authorised a separate payment, meaning I had no leg to stand on if it all went wrong. Thankfully, it didnt. We spent a lot of the time on the beach or on excursions to palermo, Trapani and the neighbour islands. We didn't stay in the room much. I would say that if you are a family with young kids, it might be important to you that the rooms do not get cleaned unless you pay extra. We didn't mind as we were barely there and it was only a week. But maybe just something to take into account when considering the price. Overall, apart from the rude owner, we had a good holiday in San Vito. However, it was the town and the lovely restaurants that made it great rather than the hotel.

The Residence, which is newly built, offers holiday apartments in San Vito lo Capo sleeping from 2 to 6, elegantly furnished with beaten iron beds, fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TV, hair-dryer, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, linen, exclusive use verandah or patio. At our holiday houses, guests can use a car-parking space and also a lovely pine grove with an equipped barbecue and tables.
We had to argue to get the room we booked with two double beds. The air-condition and wall underneath was moldy and therefore smelled really rotten. It was unusable. Management is careless. Right across is a big parking lot with 24h business and floodlight. Otherwise rooms itself, equipment was okay to good. But for this price all points me mentioned at the beginning are nogo.

Note positive.

We booked this hotel due to the fact it was supposed to be front beach and we paid almost 500 EUR for two night due to that fact, upon arrival we realized the hotel was not front beach. When it comes to amenities and toiletries there were non existent, not even the courtesy to have one or two bottles of water, nothing! One of my biggest disappointments when it comes to hotel booking.
