We ended up here when our air bnb was too loud. I wish we had found it sooner. Large clean rooms. Showers were amazing. Front desk staff went above and beyond- especially Maya. If I ever make it back to Dublin I would stay here again.

There was a maintenance problem with our original room while we were on the way to the hotel so we were offered an upgrade to a bigger room with a later checkout which we didn't mind at all obviously. The apartment was overall really nice, spacious, comfortable and in a convenient area of Dublin for us, the only thing I would say would be that the bathroom wall could have been a bit cleaner from previous guests who for some reason left it dirty with stuff that should go in the toilet and our front door didn't close all the way like its supposed to, it got stuck a bit so you would have to pull it to close properly which is a bit worrying if you didn't notice and had a break in, we did notify staff of the door and hope that it will be fixed, even with these two problems I would still rate our stay very high and would definitely book again especially with the lovely staff!

The Horse and Hound is an old village pub, with accommodation above, which has recently been fully refurbished. The interiors are sympathetic to a bygone era when the horse and trap was the main means of transportation. Our beautifully appointed rooms are an ideal resting place for golfers, hikers, walkers, cyclists and sightseers alike. Our lounge is warm, comfortable and welcoming and we have a beautiful beer garden to the rear with a large open log fire. A newer addition to the premises is The Heritage Room - a comfortable and atmospheric cocktail bar with an interesting display of photos, prints and paintings which transport patrons back to a simpler time. While a full breakfast is not available there are some excellent restaurants for dinner and lunch within walking distance. We look forward to welcoming you at the Horse & Hound.
Enjoying a birthday treat at the H&H. Outside eating area is lovely in the sun. Really delicious Fijian fish Curry! Superb sesame crusted calamari and our daughter really enjoyed her gourmet burger. Fantastic service also. 10/10. Lovely evening!

Location and easy access to what we wanted. Full kitchen. Helpful staff. Some construction work was still going on in the lobby. Not much closet space. Several grocery stores and many attractions within easy walk. Bus stops right out the door. Will definitely use again, and would recommend for travels not needing much attention.

Stayed recently at the Stonebridge apartments. The apartment was very well equipped and spotless. They are spacious and bright. If I was staying again I would have one facing the marina. The beds and pillows were comfortable. They are close to the shops and the many restaurants. I couldn’t find anything to complain about . Check in and out was trouble free and the staff were helpful and pleasant.

The apartment was very central and we were given great instructions on entry to the private parking. The rooms were very tastefully decorated and comfortable. A bonus was finding a washing machine as this was midway through our holiday so it was great to do some laundry. Altogether this is a great place to stay when in Longford and I would thoroughly recommend it

My colleague and I stayed here for 4 weeks on a business trip including a period of Covid quarantine so being confined to the apartment for 14 days has coloured my opinion. Small things that you could ignore for one night or so can become very annoying. I can't fault the management or the cleaning staff. They were very helpful and attentive and the housekeeping was very good but the developer and architect didn't win my praise. Sandyford was convenient for us but the area is a warren of charmless new developments, several of which have stalled and are left unfinished. There are some restaurants and coffee shops nearby and a Dunnes and Aldi within walking distance and the Luas tram at the foot of the road is a boon for getting to places with a bit more to offer. There is a also a weekly food truck market across the street. The beds are comfortable and the mattresses were clean but I agree with other posters that they are too high to sit on to tie your shoes. We found several lamps didn't have working bulbs but these were quickly replaced once the management were notified. The presence of three restaurants on the ground level of means that the smell from their fryers wafts up when you are on your balcony. I could not identify the source but every few hours, day and night, there is a loud clattering that sounds like a bottle-bank being emptied. Our balcony had no view except of a car park hemmed in on four sides by tall buildings. The apartments have plenty of windows and light but that only affords your neighbours in the office buildings across the breezeway a clear view of your bedroom and living room and you a view of their desks, unless you keep the curtains closed. There was obviously a common area with benches and a play equipment built for the development but the access to this is now prevented by a padlocked gate. Protruding glass box windows might be attractive from the outside and provide space and light into the bedrooms but when it rains (as it does in Dublin) the rain drumming on the roof glass is loud enough to disturb your sleep. A very particular complaint was the useless key-card entry system which constantly failed and locked us out. The management are well aware of this as they told us to keep our key-cards away from any electronic device (hardly practical for keeping in your purse or pocket) as this might wipe the magnetic stripe. In five weeks we were locked out (with both cards failing) four times which is very annoying when coming home late and the reception has closed. The management sent over new cards in a taxi which took 30 minutes. The car parking spaces underground are a bit tight. The code to the building and garage (but not your apartment) changes weekly so you have to make a note of it when the slip is passed under your door telling you the new code. The trash collection area is disgusting, there are lots of bins but evidently these are not enough or they're not emptied often enough. Remember to keep a free hand when carrying items as all the doors have a 'press to exit' button which may not be obvious. The one in the garage in Core 1 is behind the door and gets bashed by the handle of the door as it opens. Did the installer not realise this would happen? That may be a minor point but the devil is in the details. Our apartment was well appointed but the tv only had 3 channels (though people have said they had Netflix etc.) and the reception was poor and grainy. The kitchen had basic the utensils but the knives were completely blunt and were poor quality do did not improve much with sharpening. Salt and pepper shakers were provided but they had no seals so obviously nobody checks on these things. I feel they could be a bit more generous with non-perishable basics like salt and washing-up liquid and dishwasher tablets and bin-bags.
