The place is run by the same owner of absolute farrenden apartment, this place must be the bad apple of the bunch..old towels, grainy tv, plumbing issues - cannot have two people using the bathroom as the hot water gets switched between shower and sink! This is quite a depressing place to stay and very noisy being next to a major thorough fare of Pretoria. Nevertheless the staff are brilliant and there are some renovations taking place, let's just hope that they bring the place to the other place standards....! Having been to quite few places in Pretoria, had known the place maybe I would not have booked it.

These 2 units have stair access and 2 and 3 bedrooms respectfully that are tastefully decorated and have 2 single beds in each room. Linen & towels are supplied. All rooms are equipped with air con at additional cost to ease of the warm Highveld heat. Each room has TV and full (DSTV) channels as well as huge build-in cupboards for guests comfort. All verandas has a panoramic view of the garden.

Reviewed By Stunter02I can’t believe there was a place with such amazing hosts ?. This is truly the best self catering place in Pretoria ??. We booked a long stay with a month and Yolande and Frans were absolutely the coolest hosts. Very friendly and helped us with whatever we needed. The place have literally everything you need in a house and more. Whether it is for business or pleasure, you will certainly enjoy your time here. They even have a mini venue on request. There is also braai facilities and parking??.

Reviewed By ItsZiDisclaimer: I only stayed for one night. But trust me, that's all 800@Merton need to make a lasting impression! THIS IS NOT A HOTEL, it's a guesthouse. A lovely one at that. Arina is such a wonderful host. Was quite accommodating and even agreed to give a discount at short notice. The location is safe and quiet (beside embassies and consular residence) but also easily accessible to restaurants/shopping malls and other landmarks. The rooms are spacious and welcoming. I like the fact that you have a working area where you can "be serious" in the midst of the tranquility. There's free WiFi, swimming pool, Cable TV... I almost forgot the breakfast. Lovely! I'm surprised that I am the first person giving a review of this facility. I'd jump at the opportunity to be back here. Well done!

Relaxation in the City
Reviewed By monceliaOur room was a sigh of fresh air, very neat. The lagoon was a hit for the kids. They enjoyed it very much. The canoeing was also fun. You do not feel the buzz from the busy streets. Peaceful and quiet!!
