Where to begin ! I will be as accurate as I can. Firstly I would like to say how helpful and pleasant the young lad on reception when we arrived was. Can't fault his customer service at all ! Sadly , this was not reflected by other members of staff. The other lady who manages the reception needs to work on her customer service as very stressed and miserable most of the time. The young lady who helped on the bar needs to be given a price list as we were charged from 4 euros right up to 7 euros for the same type of beer ! Very limited choice on the bar sadly. The room itself....we were charged a 10 euro deposit upon arrival for the Aircon and TV remote, only to find that the TV remote didn't even work and the aircon unit just about worked . Positives, room was clean and spacious. Negatives the view we had was of a block of private apartments, aircon was on its last legs and TV remote didn't work. Please note the pool in the pics is not what you think, the pool is very small and sadly the one time we used it we noticed how it needed a good clean. Location is OK, about a 15 min walk to nearest beach and the main square. When we asked if we could leave bags for a while upon checking out as we had 2 hours to kill before we had to leave for the airport we were given an out right no !. I would highly recommend the English bar about a 2 min walk from the complex for food and drinks....absolutely lovely lady's run it and the food is good . Overall sadly we would not go back again.

The daily room service is terrible. On more than one occasion used towels were not replaced by the correct number of fresh ones. Once, when we pointed it out almost immediately, the girl returned over two hours later with the missing clean towels. At least once, it was obvious that the drinking mugs had not been washed. The girl just said “Oh, did I forget ?” Because the mugs had distinctive marks on the bottom, I then discovered that they were not being taken away and replaced with clean ones, but were apparently being cleaned (not very well - just a rinse) in the bathroom. Not satisfactory. The container fixed to the wall in the bathroom which holds the toilet brush is half-full of water. Not hygienic. The liquid soap dispensers in the shower are not labelled, but contain different coloured liquids, presumably shampoo and body wash ? My wife and I both have short, white / grey hair, so we cannot understand why we find long dark brown ones on the floor of the bathroom and bedroom. The timing of the room cleaning is so varied that we cannot be sure when it would be done. We don’t like to be disturbed if we are resting in the afternoon. On our first day, Reception told us it was after 10.00. Another day we were told it was between 16.00 and 18.00. Once we were visited after 18.00, when we had been out all day and were relaxing in our bedroom. On another day the room had not been done by 18.00, and as we did not want to be disturbed we asked just for the towels to be changed. The bathroom does not have glasses for toothbrushes, which is normally the case internationally. Other international hotels encourage re-use of towels to save water, etc. (by notices in bathrooms) and ask for towels required to be changed to be put on floor of shower. Also, no ‘spy hole’ in the door, which most hotels have for security. ‘Fire Exit’ signs are not clear on all floors. The balcony door does not lock from the inside, and the curtains do not close properly. I thought the room safe was broken, until I checked with Reception who told me I had to place a deposit on a removable lock and key. When I returned with a credit card I was told ‘cash only’. Why wasn’t I told this on my arrival ? There are no hand rails around the steps to the small heated pool. Only shiny slippery tiles with straight sharp edges. The shower surround and screen in that area do not close properly, allowing water to slosh around the floor around the adjacent toilet. Ugh ! The heating elements of the sauna are not covered. Wooden panels around it are fire-scorched. The sand-timer is very inaccurate. The five minutes shown in reality was nearly twelve. That’s it !

Personale alla mano e disponibile per qualunque informazione, prezzo più che economico per la location... Buona zona per i vari spostamenti sia con autobus, sia con taxi... In un futuro ritorno a Malta sappiamo già dove alloggiare sicuramente.

Stylish, fully air-conditioned block of four apartments and a duplex penthouse, designed to be brightly lit with natural daylight, comprising of a fully-equipped kitchen, living, dining area and modern bedrooms, some even with en-suite shower and one apartment is pet-friendly. Located in the heart of the bustling and central city of St. Julian’s – Paceville. Everything you can think of is within reach, only 5 to 10 minutes away. The apartments are close to shops, bars, restaurants, beaches, nightclubs, historical spots and much more for you to discover!
Warning: these appartements are NOT for people wanting to rest and/or visit Malta. (At least the appartement we had) We were in Malta with 3 adult couples. The appartement we had was spacious and good located to visit the island. The staff was very nice and helped us where they could. The breakfast was also very good. BUT, the appartement was not properly cleaned when we arrived, not properly maintained as we compare with the pictures of the website, not properly equiped and had his flaws. At first sight, the appartement is looking like the nice pictures, but very soon the little defects surface, too much to be left unnoticed and quite some of them really disturbing. The beds were not comfortable, they were worn out, most of us woke up with pain in our backs from sleeping. The appartement is located in "the" party place of Malta, which would not be a problem if it was properly isolated against noise. There are a few pubs in the street and at night you have the feeling your bed is in the street and in the pub (you hear everything). As a conclusion, we did not have good nights. We would not advice this appartement for families, only young people who are here to party without rest.

Very clean secure and functional. Always a representative on the front desk 24 hours a day and extremely helpful. Located in Old part of town but this is where you want to be as close to spinola Bay and good restaurants.

What a wonderful place, Amchara Gozo. As soon as you close the front door you feel like you are in a warm, loving environment. The staff are the best, continually looking after you, offering advice and helping you to achieve your goals. The treatments are a real bonus, everything on offer is top quality guaranteed to make you feel fantastic. Yoga morning and evening is the perfect way to start and end the day. Location is great as you can take a variety of routes for long or short walks. I can highly recommend Amchara - if you are not sure, just book it, you won't be disappointed.

We spent a day at this beach around a week ago, which has a great view and clear water. Not to mention the fact that we dinned at one of the nearby restaurants which offered mouth watering wood and nice atmosphere.

Stayed in apartment G6. The apartment looked like the pictures and reminds me of the modern deco in a UK Show home. Lovely wrap Around balcony looking out onto “ok” scrubland. The apartment was clean and very well equipped. The pool was lovely and quiet and rates were very reasonable but this was out of season. The check in process was annoying as you get bombarded with emails after booking (booking.com) asking for a £200 refundable deposit of £37 non refundable. It was pretty annoying as I was travelling around having to deal with the requests and sift through the information. The first room smelt slightly of damp and the shower was terrible and mouldy around the seals, annoying as super easy to fix. Despite the complaints I would stay here again as everything else was perfect and the apartment was huge! I hope they sort out the minor glitches.

So we’re 6 days into our 8 day break and the penthouse apartment has been fabulous - not perfect, but not too far away from it! It’s in a fabulous position with brilliant views, and is well furnished with three good bedrooms; two of which are en-suite with another separate bathroom. The furnishings are really nice, though some aspects would benefit from an update such as the blinds/curtains which don’t close very well. Great to have a fully equipped kitchen, big tv’s (limited channels) and air conditioning to provide all we could need. The balcony is huge with loads of space and the hot tub was a big hit. Yes this is a lively part of town and I would not want to be on the lower levels above the bars/restaurants, but there is little to be heard 8 floors up! The cleaners visit daily and change towels etc., as well as replenishing complimentary tea bags and coffee which is a nice touch. Happy to recommend this place!

I stayed for 4 nights for a conference. The location is excellent but the attentiveness of the apartment owner is second to none. One of my most comfortable and cleanest and most manageable stays ever. Highly recommended for sure.
