The largest and many say most beautiful island in the Bay of Naples, Ischia is renowned for its curative spas. Ferries and hydrofoils connect Naples to Ischia Porto, the main town. Nearby at Ischia Ponte (connected to the main island by a foot bridge) are the magnificent Castello Aragonese and Guevara Tower. Forio on the island’s west coast, Lacco Ameno in the northwest and Sant’Angelo in the south are the liveliest resort towns. Casamicciola Terme in the north is one of Europe’s oldest spas.

Villa Loreta Is A Little Structure Near The Citara Beach And Celebreted 'giardini Poseidon'
I don't know where to start. Stumbled over this great Hotel /Guesthouse some time ago and have been returning yearly. First very well managed by Vito, the owner. Rooms, beds totally comfortable. Bathroom and Air Conditioning very up to date. Breakfast totally very High Quality and excellent choice. The other good news very close to the sea and Poseidon Day Spa. Cost totally competitive, great value. Don't hesitate. GO.

The green of the vineyards filled with bunches of grapes that can be seen along the road that leads to Villa Marinu ' give a colorful welcome . Upon entering, you immediately get the feeling of being in front of a villa typical of Ischia ; garden full of scents from flowers in fresh and bright colors ; on citrus trees stands the yellow of the lemons that contrasts with the green of the vegetation. Majestically dominates the giant pine that for over half a century ago as a guardian and is easy to understand how what we have before us is born and raised with care and taste that only the Mediterranean warmth , love and passion for the nice can give. That's beyond the shouting of the children who play in the playground with Snow White , the seven dwarfs, slides, houses ....; Continuing the scents of nature combine with the scents of the dishes that thanks to recipes handed down from generation to generation , Grandmother Marinu expertly prepared . And now for a dip in the pool, a trip to the beauty salon and the holiday continues ...... And it's only the beginning! We are on the island of Ischia, we at Villa Marinu ' !
We stayed in Ischia only for one night but we wish we had stayed longer. The staff took great care of us (even through language barriers) and everything felt homemade - never too fancy but all you need.

This property's advertising is in breach of the Trades Descriptions Act! We booked this apartment as it was advertised as having a kitchen. However, this is not the case! The hob is covered over and not connected to a gas or electricity supply. There are no utensils, pans, cuttlery, plates or cups whatsoever! We voiced our concerns and then given, two plates, two forks, two knives and two cups. We were told by the owner that this isn't supposed to be marketted as self catering but merely B&B. We did pay self catering prices though! We were told that Expedia was at fault, however, the same property is being promoted as self catering on many different sites. That said, we stayed in the apartment with wonderful view and private terrace. The apartaments are imacculately clean and offer daily cleaning and towel changes. They also produce the most wonderful continetal breakfast. The way this villa is marketted needs to change and the price relfecting this.

The place is new. Highly highly recommended. Were still at the room as im writing this. Shame that we are staying only for the night. PROS: Room: well thought. Very clean. With small kitchenette, you can cook. A table to dine. Bathroom spacious enough. Balcony with sitting. We took the studio. Aircon: centralized, very good Bed.: very comfortable, also the pillows. TV: has netflix in english and other apps Location: near the rotonda between Ischia Porto and Ischia Ponte, buses stops here. By foot - 10min to Ischia Porto. 15min to Castle Staff: very very helpful. Cons: N. O. N. E. rem, this is a luxury apartment, not a b&b or a hotel so dont expect a breakfast nor toiletries or free towel change. I WILL BOOK HERE AGAIN FOR SURE!

Appartamenti Baia di Citata e
I spent one night on my visit to Terme Poseidon. My apartment, an inside one, was perfect. Although I didn't cook, the kitchen was very well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the outdoor terrace had a nice table and chairs. There was also a guests' terrace overlooking the sea with comfortable upholstered outdoor furniture. The whole experience was first rate. And to top it off, it was only a short walk to Terme Poseidon and a very easy bus ride from both Forio and Ischia town. Highly recommended.

We have travelled many times to Ischia to different types of hotels. This time travelling with friends who were discerning enough to choose this amazing Bed and Breakfast. We booked 2 months in advance of our visit. Poala was the best host we have met throughout our extensive travels over 25 years ( and we visit Italy several times a year for work and holidays) . We were briefed on arrival and able to call Poala to ask questions about restaurants and she could not have been more helpful. English speaking it really helped those in our group who spoke little Italian. Poala recommended many places to us all fantastic food and great prices. Follow her advice ! We cannot say enough how much she helped to make our trip to Forio so amazing. This B&B has been very well thought out and we had tasteful newly decorated rooms with everything you could need. And we had front sea view which has a road between the seafront and the apartment block but you could barely hear this at night and not at all with windows closed. And it was relaxing sitting on the balcony in the mornings having our breakfast and drink before dinner watching the world go by. A wedding procession passed us by one afternoon it was lovely. Early morning swim in the sea just across the road recommended. A lovely position easy to park our large car and everything you need with town 5 minutes walk away. This is a little gem of a place and Forio also fabulous. And Poala is a 5 star ? host.

This place is an oasis full of good things: green, clean, quiet and hospitality. Would definitely go back and strongly recommend it for a great holiday in Ischia. Signora Teresa is a great host, we arrived just on Easter Monday and she waited for us with traditional cake and fruits.

Welcome to Le Pleiadi holiday apartments for rent. You can choose between two different sites, both located on the southern coast of the isle of Ischia: the little picturesque fishermen's village of Sant’Angelo, the ideal spot for sea lovers and sun bathers who want to be right near the beach, and a privileged corner called Succhivo, amidst lemon and orange trees and at the same time only a short distance from the most exclusive beaches.
We stayed in the La Beccia apt. and it was lovely, exactly as represented on line. No surprises. Very clean with stunning views. Great, quiet location, and Giuseppe was the perfect host. Sant Angelo is a much better place to stay than the port town, in my view. Take the ferry from Naples to Forio, and it's a 15-20 minute taxi ride from there. Giuseppe was there to meet us and answer all our questions. The apt. is well equipped with nice linens and towels, and if you like to cook the kitchen will likely have what you need. Sant Angelo is a pleasant change from the filth and chaos of Naples. Be sure to take the hike up the hill to Serrano. It's steep but worth the effort. Stop and have some wine or tea at Eugene's little cafe. He and his wife are delightful and the views are fabulous. You won't regret a stay here.

An absolutely gorgeous place, in a very quiet spot, the owner and the staff are extremely supportive and friendly and they went often over and beyond to help! I booked the junior suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it was absolutely quiet, the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with always different kind of ham, some cheese and mozzarellas, fresh fruits, different homemade pies every day, fresh squeezed orange juice, pastries and more! During the day you can also always make fresh coffee and tea or get some biscuits and water. The view is amazing, I spent many hours just relaxing in the balcony with the breeze of the wind admiring the view. The access to the thermal park nearby is included and there is an amazing restaurant on the sea as well as a self service! The villa is on an hill, but not on the top and not far from the main street and right in front of the entrance of the thermal park Castiglione. I and my girlfriend enjoyed walking up and down! If you mind walking you can rent cars and, I think, scooters as well. There is a bus stop right on the main street, 5 minutes from the apartment, so that's an option as well and there are plenty of taxis gong forth and back from there. It's possible to get a taxi at the park as well, usually there are always some there. If / when I will come back to Ischia I will rent the the same room if available because it was the best I had the chance to use. I honestly felt like being in a 5 star hotel and at home at the same time! Again, absolutely worth!
