Reviewed By CharlotteM920I had booked a bungalow for 7 nights. I only lasted less than an hour after check in! The photos must be very old as the bungalow didn’t look anything like them in real life. The whole place is very run down and definitely in the budget/backpacker category. I was told I’d have to pay an extra $50 per night for air con even though my booking clearly stated that air con was included. I had booked via Agoda so my payment for the 7 nights was non refundable but I honestly would have paid more than that to be able to get away from that place! I ended up finding a place just down the road for the same price but a million times nicer. I’m still having nightmares about the terrible state of the bungalows!!!

We have stayed at the property numerous times over the years and we always look forward to seeing the hosts Jean-Marc & Mere. They go out of their way to make sure you have a relaxing time. The apartments are always spotless and accommodating. They have a stall at the local market and the food is amazing, the best we have had on the island. Faafetai tele lava, we will see you again soon.

Reviewed By vickirbGreat location, pool and studio apartment with all amenities. Including insect screens and a lovely shaded balcony. Being in a smaller complex makes you feel secure, but private. In addition, a short walk down the drive to all Muri Beach area has to offer. We will be back to enjoy more.

Reviewed By Vivienne SWe stayed 10 days - a couple with an adult daughter. The location is the best. The deck is so raised that from your lounger or lunching around the deck table, all you see is the turquoise lagoon. And who commented that you cannot see sunset - we have video of the most beautiful sunset with us supping bubbly. If heaven is like this, bring it on. We snorkeled and kayaked, and we film the lagoon fish - over 55 species on film so far. The house is great, and that main bedroom with its huge picture windows - we never wanted to leave. This was early November, and there was rarely anyone else visible on the beach. It's as if the island is yours. We'll be back.

Reviewed By noa723I thought this motel was perfect. Quiet, comfy, steps away from one of the nicest sandy beaches on the island. Most of the time there were no other people within view. Close to black rocks for amazing snorkeling! Restaurant nearby in another property. Grocery across the street, bakery closeby as well.

Price was advertised at $78 per night on Booking.com but was charged $120 per night and the lady would only accept cash (very suspicious indeed). When I asked to see or speak to a manager about price, she could only show me text messages and the manager never tried to contact me. Room was average. Sink, shower old and dirty, toilet would only flush every now and then and tap water to brush my teeth was brown so had to boil water. Pool was empty upon check in and 5 days later was 3/4 full but nobody would swin in it that's for sure. Very old and run down property. No air con either.

Perfect for sunbathing, relaxing, and watching the whales cruise by (in winter). For some family fun try out our kayaks, or go snorkeling and view the tropical fish. Self-cater or enjoy eating out at one of 6 restaurants in easy walking distance. Our secluded property with its comfortable and stylish pacific rooms combined with our excellent location on the island and excellent service really are a winning combination. We pride ourselves on running a “boutique” look, feel, and service property without the high-end expense. We are family owner operators. Our main focus is to ensure our guests have a great stay at The Cooks Oasis Holiday Villas and enjoy their time in Rarotonga.

Reviewed By Guide722874Our wonderful hosts Matt and Adele did everything possible to make it an amazing break away. Despite four attempts to take this holiday during these lockdowns and trying times. Adele remained in touch and every set back remained positive we would get to experience the Cooks Oasis. A beautiful and well serviced property, amenities were brilliant. Can not wait to go back and stay there again.

Rarotonga Daydreamer Escape located in the village of Viamaanga, 10kms from the Rarotonga International airport and 12kms to the main township of Avarua. Catering for those who like a bit of privacy in a quiet relaxed atmosphere. We have 6 rooms varying from a one bedroom deluxe with an outdoor shower and bath, to a larger 3 bedroom apartment catering for the whole family. A 2 minute walk to the beach and all apartments are spacious with a private patio, pool views and a communal BBQ. Reviewed By mjagersWe had a family party of 11 and booked a 1, 2 and 3 bedroom accommodation. All the rooms were clean with kitchen amenities and a beautiful outlook over some delightful gardens. A fresh water pool was available for use on the property set into the relaxing garden setting with chairs, hammock and BBQ facilities also available and which we availed ourselves of. Snorkelling gear was kindly provided, towels were replaced as often as required. We were able to talk with Rob and/or Anna whenever we wanted and often just to get local info, very accommodating and personable. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Everyone in our party was very comfortable and enjoyed the facilities immensely.

A small 7-roomed resort, which caters for travellers who like indepedence and to be away from the hustle & bustle of larger resorts. The apartments are self-catering which means you can take care of your own dining needs, whether in the fully appointed kitchens or the guest barbeque. Towels are changed on request, and bed linen is changed every 7 days. The rooms are serviced on departure. The Coral Sands is ideal for small groups and if you wish to make a block booking, please contact us to arrange. The lagoon is only footsteps away where there is an abundance of colourful marine life, kayaks are available, along with reef shoes and snorkel equipment. The swimming pool is perfect to cool off as well. There are celing fans in all rooms, air con available (at an additional cost), there is access to WIFI, TV/DVD, security screens on windows, and there is a guest laundry on site. Come and enjoy the relaxed lifestyle of the Rarotongan people, no traffic jams or traffic lights here.

From the time we booked and dealt with Brent, he was so easy to deal with and incredibly helpful. The accommodation was absolutely perfect and all our requirements were meant and will definitely be recommending these apartments to friends, family and work colleagues.
