Serviced short-stay apartments accommodation in Coimbra, beautifully incorporated in a magnificent building with a 1800's facade and impressive floor to ceiling heights.Central location in the UNESCO pending area of Coimbra. The building has had many roles and, after a cloth manufacturing structure, is now a stylish touristic apartment building.Great to enjoy the history of the city. All rooms feature a living area, fully equipped kitchen, LCD television, bedroom, bathroom and free wireless internet.
The place belongs to Oslo hotel so you need to check in with them, basically you have a card with the instructions on it, after it’s easy, they will invite to see the place from its terrace could not go cuz was tired, next time for sure :) Will do , the accommodation it’s exceptional every spot in the one bed flat is well done, hot water, well equipped kitchen, comfy and huge bed, amenities and lots of towels, the deco is also great vintage kinda thing, the location is another plus I definitely will stay with them once back in Coimbra, thanks for the kind service.

This was the cheapest place I stayed in my recent trip to Portugal and I think the price and location make up for a lot of short comings with the room and the hotel. You are right in the heart of Coimbra, not far to walk to the train station or the old town. Very safe walking back to the hotel at night, however there is a curfew but I never stay out too late. There is no lift or elevator so make sure you can carry your bag. Wifi did not work for most of my stay so if you have to check in for flights or book train tickets be aware. Bathroom and room dated and small but I slept well despite the noise from being on the main square. Does not take credit cards. As a place to shower and sleep it is adequate.

This is a good budget hotel in a great location. It is only about a four minute walk from the main downtown train station (not Coimbra-B). The rooms are sparse and a bit run down but the staff was very helpful and friendly.

I have stayed in Coimbra only for 2days, but if i could, i would stay all 10 days of my vacation in this hotel!Centrally located, affordable, !clean!, and the man who runs the place is super sweet!! He showed us the vest fado in town and was just the nicest hotel host ever! Don't hesitate, just pick this residencia if you are planning a trip to Coimbra! ?

No air-conditioning and no fans made for an uncomfortable stay. If you leave the windows open, the street noise from the busy street and the party-people keep you up. All rooms are 1 to 3 flights up with no elevator. We spent a mostly sleepless night here due to the heat and noise. I would never consider staying here again.

Lovely small hotel in Coimbra, near the university. We had problems originally finding it as it is up a non-descript laneway that runs next to the monastery. The hotel is close to the main town square and plenty of restaurants and shops. The owner, joele, and his staff are simply amazing…full of information and very helpful. The room itself was a bit small but totally workable. The bathroom was small and a little tight for big westerners. Room was very clean and the bed was a bit hard but ok.

Located in the heart of the city of Coimbra, next to the UNESCO World Heritage "University of Coimbra - Alta and Sofia" the AH33 - Studios are an excellent starting point to enjoy the best that Coimbra has to offer: the University of Coimbra, the Botanic Garden, the Machado de Castro National Museum, the Old Cathedral and the Upper-City (Alta de Coimbra) are just next door. The AH33-Studios are integrated in a building from early twentieth century, completely restored in early 2016, full of architectural details which features high ceilings worked plaster, wood elements, stone brickwork, tiles and painted walls imitating marble. Each bright studio has a living room and a bedroom with private bathroom with hardwood floors, kitchen / kitchenette with induction hob, microwave, fridge, kitchen utensils and dinnerware. The AH33 - Studios offers cable TV, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning in all studios.
Stayed here recently. Very nice owner. This is not a real hotel or bed and breakfast, but an old building with a room to sleep and cook food if you go shopping. There is no washing machine as someone said. The free breakfast is some fresh rolls in the morning on your door knob. The little fridge has some processed cheese, milk, orange juice, jam and a couple butters and two yogurts. It was not replenished daily. You have to wash your own dishes after the free breakfast. There is no common area. The street outside is pavers and can be noisy if you are a light sleeper as the windows and doors are over a 100 years old. I expected a bit more than what was offered.

Casas da Alta at Coimbra is part of a building from the early twentieth century, completely renovated in 2013. The results are five cosy, unique apartments with wonderful views. Casas da Alta offer laundry, cleaning, bed linen, towels, access to backyard, fully equipped kitchens, air conditioning in bedrooms and living rooms, television with national and international channels and WI-Fi.
We traveled all around Portugal and this apartment really stood out to us! Matalda was a phenomenal host! She let us check-in earlier than we planned, gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and even left us a treat when we got back to the property after a long day of exploring. It really made our trip even more special by staying here! Thank you for the great memories!!!
