According to famed diver Jacques Cousteau, the Great Blue Hole of Belize is one of the most spectacular dive sites on earth. The crystal-clear sapphire waters are home to colorful tropical fish and several species of reef sharks – ideal for brave divers who love to get up close and personal with sea life. On dry ground, diverse rainforests, mangrove swamps, and Mayan ruins are perfect for exploration. The beaches of Belize are sunny and tranquil spots for a day of relaxation.

We offer some of the lowest rates on the island and are close to everything San Pedro and Ambergris Caye have to offer! We boast a swimming pool, a brand new swim up bar, a fully equipped fitness center, and tennis court. All this and only two blocks from the beach and nightlife of the extremely popular Crazy Canucks Bar. Our Grand Baymen community neighbors the San Pedro John Greif Airstrip, and we are walking distance to everything San Pedro has to offer. You and your friends and family are very welcome to stay with us and experience our wonderful customer service and hospitality first hand!
When I had to change our trip to Belize from Dec 2021 to March 2022 due to Covid, Grand Baymen was one of the few places that had space available at my price point. I booked a 2 bedroom condo in late December, and was looking forward to all the amenities, including the pool, restaurant and bar. Two weeks before our arrival, I was notified that the pool would not be available. Then a week later, was told our 2 bedroom condo was under repair, and we were put into adjacent 1 bedroom condos. When we arrived, there was no water pressure due to something being done by the Belize water department. This problem continued past the posted date, and then we lost hot water. The one night we went to the pool bar to have dinner, it was not available because the cook was preparing meals for the workers dealing with the broken pool and a new building. When I asked before arrival if our new condo was near construction and was assured it was not, but no, it was right outside our windows and they started early and ended late. Grand Baymen made an adjustment to our rate, but it was not enough for me to ever consider going back there. The one highlight is the fitness center and instructor - though the equipment is pretty old school, there was enough basic stuff to make it work. Staff were polite, but it could not make up for all of the disruptions. When one staff person asked what could be done to make it up to us, I suggested they give us a one day pass to visit when we go back to San Pedro in Dec 2022, and the response was "it will be an exclusive resort then, so you won't be able to come here." That sealed it for me and my family. And oh yes - it is at the end of the San Pedro airstrip, so you must enjoy the sound of planes taking off and landing from 6 am til 9 pm.

Our property has been in my family for almost 200 years, handed down from generation to generation. Originally the Sands Hotel, built in 1977, I remodeled in 2014 and opened up Parham Plaza hotel. We have a large property with a lot of little nooks where you can wrap yourself up in one of our hammocks and enjoy the ocean breeze under the shade of our palm trees. Cook your own food in our communal kitchen, and enjoy your meal in our garden gazebo or one of our picnic tables in the yard. We also have a large patio space with plenty of couch space for having a few drinks, listening to some tunes, and getting to know your fellow travelers.
Nice clean rooms, very central, great AC but the wifi was mediocre. All of the balconies are shared to multiple rooms. The biggest downside was that the hotel is near two nightclubs so you would hear the bass throughout the night until 4am. The hotel does provide rooms with sound machines that did the trip and it was fine with us but it is a word of warning. There is also no pool at this hotel.

Our trip to Belize was an interesting one and we laugh now because we ended up calling it Belize 2.0. When our original timeline for our visit was needing to be postponed with less than 36 hours prior to departure, I was able to work with these two amazing people and have a fantastic trip… several months later. Prior to our arrival in May, Kim was the most communicative and helpful host. Checking in, giving us the up to the minute COVID news, and arranging our flights from BZE to San Pedro, her and her husband did it all. They then picked us up from the tiny airport, helped us with the golf cart rental and drove us through San Pedro so we knew the layout of the city. Afterwards, they showed us their glorious condo and all the wonderful Amenities. They provided trips, tricks and offered up their favorites on the island. In addition, we had absolutely nothing officially booked to do. Throughout the week, they booked our 3 excursions with dock pick up and pretty much acted as a concierge for us. The condo was perfect for me and my husband as well as our additional friends and it gave us the freedom to feel like the locals. It was clean, filled with everything we could have needed. Thank you soooo very much. I hope some day we will be able to come back for a visit. We’ve recommended this place to everyone and it was truly the amazing couple that hosts you that added the icing to the cake. You would say it was unbelizable… :)

These affordable, spacious and luxurious beachfront condos are in a prime location on the south edge of town close to all the shops, restaurants and palapa bars. There is a private sandy beach area overlooking the reef for sunning or for relaxing in a hammock. The roof top veranda can provide beautiful and memorable photos of the reef and azul waters complete with sailboats or sunsets. Great packages available for any adventure or special event.
IN Addtion to the Icky seagrass problem- smelled!!- couldn't get in water-Disgusting. Regarding our stay from May 14-20th. I am contacting you for a couple of reasons- 1. As a business owner myself, I would want to know the condition of my business. Therefore, the below will hopefully improve your business. 2. With the condition of the condominium and the other items I will outline, I would like you to refund 50% of our charges. ( as a Note- the owners refunded one night) We left 2 days early because of the condition of the condominium and complaining would not fix the situation. 3. Air conditioning is only in the bedroom Upon our arrival, Yvette meet us at the ferry and took us to the condominium. Which was nice Items in Condo were not clean 1. Two pillows in the living room were stained and dirty-YUCK 2. Light next to chair was broken and unsafe- the cord was unplugged and poorly wrapped with tape-which is dangerous. 3. All The chairs outside feel like they were sprayed with cement, and it is now chipping and in rough condition-uncomfortable to sit on. 4. Note the picture with the Towel on the bathroom floor- The mat and towel were totally soaked as the toilet had a leaked and the floor beside the toilet was dirty. There was: • No icetrays- she did have her son get some ice for us- which was nice. • The next day we had to ask for more kitchen towels as there was only one- we also had to ask for paper towels. • Then we noticed there was no soap in the bathroom- had to ask for that. • The TV in the bedroom was out for 4 days- the TV in the living room was out for 2 days (Yvette said they were working the morning we checked in)- my husband is pretty tech savvy. Based on the condition of what was needed to make them work, He could see it would be impossible for them to be working that morning • The air-conditioning is misrepresented on your site- as it is only in the bedroom. I hope this helps you- however, we were certainly disappointed and I think it is fair to receive a 50% refund.

Seaside Villas consist of 6 beautifully appointed beachfront condos on the island of Caye Caulker. Each Condo overlooks the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea and the second largest barrier reef in the world. With the luxury of both swimming pool and rooftop Jacuzzi, Seaside Villas Condos are ideal for couples or families alike. Seaside Villas is located only five minutes from the Caye Caulker Airport, a short stroll from the water, shopping, restaurants and bars.
My wife and I stayed in the Seaside Villas in early March 2020. The condo was very clean and comfortable. It was just the 2 of us but we could have easily had another couple (or our kids) with us because there are 2 bedrooms in the unit we rented. Everything about the place was as advertised. Clean drinking water was provided, the cleaning staff were very friendly, and we were close enough (yet far enough away from) The Split for our liking. Everything is within walking distance if you woudl rather not rent a golf cart or bikes. I would definitely consider renting from Seaside Villas again when we return to Caye Caulker.

Mirasol is in the perfect location which is the reason I'm a repeat client. Easy access to the beach as well as all restaurants, bars, grocery stores and shops. I was with 2 friends and the upstairs villa was perfect for the 3 of us (just as it could be for 3 couples). We all had our own rooms with 2 baths. Plenty of space to lounge on the balcony, by the pool or in our living room. Laundry facilities if needed and air conditioning as well as quiet ceiling fans. I felt quite at home here and would definitely recommend as well as go back. I would say this definitely meets the gold standard.

Miramar Villas offers beautifully-appointed two and three bedroom, oceanfront suites. Every unit has been individually furnished and decorated by the owners. Wireless internet, washers/dryers, televisions with cable access, ceiling fans and central air conditioning are standard at Miramar Villas. Units have private patios with unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea. Guests at Miramar Villas can use the infinity pool, palapa and private pier. Miramar Villas is located 2.5 miles south of San Pedro.
We stayed in Miramar Unit #1 recently and really liked it. The interior of the condo is spacious, well kept and cheerful. The beds were very comfortable. I like to cook and so I especially appreciated the well-stock kitchen with a nice set of cookware, a meat thermometer, a blender, etc. The unit is ocean / dock front. We loved having our coffee and watching the sunrise above the beautiful ocean from the condo. We sometimes went to the dock and enjoyed the view right above the water too. The condo is on the ground floor. It made going to the beach / pool and carrying in groceries very easily. We had a few snorkeling and fishing tours. The tour boats just picked us up at the dock in front of us. The pool is a nice infinity pool in front of the ocean and very enjoyable. I had to remote work for a few days. I had no problem joining video calls with the strong wifi. In fact, cell phone signals in the area were robust. The AC and the washer /dryer worked well too. There are 4 restaurants / bars and a small grocery store within walking distance. It is about a 20 minutes golf cart ride to the town center. The golf cart ride was an adventure itself This area is a lot quieter than in the town center. We certainly enjoyed the peaceful and quiet atmosphere here. There is a police station right next to the condo and we were told that it is the safest neighborhood on the island. The property management was very helpful and responsive too. Overall, we highly recommend this condo to anyone who is looking for a relaxing vacation in a spectacular location.

Sabal Beach eco-retreat provides guests with an opportunity to truly get away from civilization and reconnect with themselves and nature. Located two miles north of Punta Negra in the Toledo district of Belize we are on one of the few remaining totally undeveloped beaches along the coast of Belize. If you like the sea, sand, sun and nature without throngs of tourists this may be the right spot for you.Sandwiched between two national parks, the Port of Honduras Marine Reserve to the front and the Paynes Creek National Park to the rear, Sabal Beach sits on 8 acres with 340′ of pristine beach which is only accessible by water. We are in an ideal location for those that enjoy fishing, diving, snorkeling, birding, kayaking, river tours or simply sitting on the beach under a palm tree and swaying in a hammock. At Sabal Beach we pride ourselves in providing lodging for travelers truly looking for an off the map experience while maintaining the comforts of home.
Sabal Beach is a slice of Heaven on Earth! The cabana had everything we needed, the beach was beautiful & well maintained! We enjoyed fishing off the dock or just sitting there having cocktails! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets! We walked the beach to Punta Negra where Suzette took us hand line fishing one day, made us lunch one day and gave us lessons on making coconut oil and johnny cakes! David arranged everything perfectly from our flights from Belize City to Placencia to our taxi driver Walter who picked us up at the Placencia Airport and took us shopping for supplies before bringing us to our boat for the trip to Sabal Beach. Jason Williams is an awesome boat captain and tour guide, he has lived in the area his entire life and is very knowledgeable about the area. Jason is also the best fishing guide we have ever had as well! Free wifi is available at the owner's cabana, just a short walk through the palm trees, not available in the guest cabana. Next time I will bring my Verizon Jetpack & see if that works. We will definitely return to Sabal Beach, our goal is to vacation there again next year! Thank you David for the great, one of a kind Belize experience!

We usually stay more central in town but are so glad we booked Oasis Del Caribe! My family of 3 booked unit 3 - SUPER well-stocked, everything you might need and more! Of note, the ocean-facing units, the main bedroom does not have an en suite bath, you have to use the hall bath. Very clean and comfortable furniture, best beds and linens we have had at a rental! My inlaws were in unit 12, which is en suite and with a true laundry room - but smaller patio. Ice-cold AC and excellent tips and directions from the owner! The grounds were impeccably kept; a gentleman serviced the pool and common areas daily. Walk to pretty much ANYTHING! Dozens of restaurants and bars within a few blocks; a parking lot on the street-side and plenty of parking in front on Boca del Rio. A security guard was stationed each night for extra piece-of-mind; during the day, if someone tried to enter the gate to sell something the residents or long-term renters were quick to remind them they were on private property and not allowed. I would absolutely recommend ODC for any travelling groups, we will be back!
