Lovely Caravan Park with a country feel. Not far from town or Blue Lake. Stayed in a cosy one bedroom cabin with ok facilities, although bathroom could do with an update. Window in lounge needs a day/night blind for privacy. Pricing ok. Would stay again.

This spacious and shady park is located in picturesque Victor Harbor on the South Coast, only an hour's drive from Adelaide. The park features a Kiosk and Games room, Camp kitchen/TV room,Free Wi-Fi, Swimming Pool, large children's Playground, Jumping Pillow, Pedal Go-karts, undercover free BBQs, Guest Laundry, Dump Point, LPG refills and Ice. It is located close to the beach and only a short walking distance to the town centre.
We stayed in a cabin in the park. The couch was so dirty the arm rests were black and it sunk when you sat in it, hence we only sat in it once. The fire alarm wasn't connected to the ceiling in the kitchen area. The oven was in a cavity that was very in need of attention. The outside was covered in cobwebs, they need to sweep the outside of the cabins to clean away the cob webs. When you pay good money you expect to have a very clean cabin.

At the gateway to some of South Australia’s most spectacular destinations - the Flinders Ranges, outback and Spencer Gulf - is Port Augusta, just over 300 kilometres from Adelaide. Discovery Parks - Port Augusta (formerly Port Augusta Holiday Park) is the ideal holiday park to plan your great southern adventure. It’s not every day you get to travel on a moving museum, but step on board the unique Pichi Richi Railway and you’ll understand why it’s so special. Discover local history with a tour of the iconic Royal Flying Doctor Service and Wadlata Outback Centre, where you will walk in the steps of the Aboriginal people who have lived here for 40,000 years.
This time we didn't have the Van and were on a group trip so booked 3 x 2 bedroom cabins. I and our whole group have to commend the park on such beautiful accommodation. Our guests with us were from Canada and even they commented on how well appointed the cabins were and how they don't even have anything like this back in Canada. Must say a special thanks to the Reception staff as they were Super Friendly and made us feel very welcome. PS the Lemon water dispenser was a fantastic idea after a long hot drive.

Discovery Parks - Barossa Valley is located in the charming town of Tanunda in the heart of the Barossa Valley, Australia's best-known wine region and South Australia's most visited tourist destination. At the end of the day exploring, Discovery Parks - Barossa Valley has a range of accommodation options to suit all. Choose from Deluxe self-contained cabins, your home away from home, through to Powered and Unpowered campsites. Our playground, swimming pool and inflatable trampoline will keep the young and the young at heart entertained.
Very disappointing Discovery Park, no internet or tv reception. Sites are very small and we were charged peak rate. When I asked the difference between peak and off peak the reception staff said don’t know we charge the peak rate whenever we are busy. Doubt I would be back

We stayed just one night in an unpowered area of the camp , more room here than other parks in town although a little further out but not too far Water is precious out in Coober so you can’t hook up to the water but you can fill up a 20 litre container for $1 which is cheap Showers are on a 5 minute timer and then 3 minutes break , so to have to be organised there but very reasonable Would stay there again , fenced off , staff friendly IGA in town reasonable prices for restocking You get 10c discount off your fuel as well from the camp , very handy !

There’s sunshine aplenty in Whyalla; an average of 300 days per year, in fact. South Australia’s third largest city is a great year-round holiday destination. You’ll find abundant green space and uninterrupted views of beautiful Spencer Gulf at Discovery Parks - Whyalla Foreshore. Our caravan park is close to family-friendly swimming beaches and excellent fishing spots. Cast a line into the protected waters of the gulf – Whyalla is known as Australia’s snapper capital. Discover the seafaring past of this rugged shipwreck coast at the Whyalla Maritime Museum. Hear the story behind over 100 years of Australian iron and steelmaking history on OneSteel’s Steelworks Tour.
We always stay in this Park when we have our van in tow, but this time without it, we chose a cabin for an overnight stay. It was so well equipped, with a very comfortable bed, and we were blown away with what was revealed when we opened what we thought were wardrobe doors where we found a trough, washing machine and dryer, how good was that! Reception staff are always very friendly and obviously enjoy their job and that is why we always return when passing this way!

We booked this accommodation as it was walking distance from Fino. We booked a tasting and lunch and we know driving was not an option. The cabins were self contained, quaint, comfy and have all the mod cons including wifi, Netflix and parking. The 2 alpacas, the pony and the sheep were a delight, well behaved.

Booking was very very helpful after having all sorts of online problems and it said very limited space available. Lady was cheerful....yes we can help you. Great service ....nice little supply of essentials on the shelf. Parking was a bit tight in spots but we had a 4 wheeler. Facilities were SPOTLESS, CLEAN AND WELL SERVICED. Location was within coffee shops and bakeries and pub....bit of a walk but easy to do. Great late night shopping centre near by with car, close to Marion shops, movie theatre, restaurants and pubs. Very nice beach views and sunsets. Just need to keep eyes out for young children who seemed to be unsupervised.

Gawler Caravan Park is perfectly positioned for a stay close to Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills or the Barossa Valley. It is clean & tidy, has powered sites for vans or RVs, and self contained cabins. It is walking distance to local shops, hotels & public transport. It is a great place to stay for a while and explore South Australia. We are open for business and working hard to ensure that our already sparkling amenities are even safer for you. We are disinfecting touch points multiple times per day. We have instigated contactless check in for those who wish to use it. We allow self isolation in cabins and powered sites but your van must be fully self contained. Give us a call for any queries - you will find us online - just google our name.
Waikerie is a great little town. It has a small shopping centre with a big Woolworths together with another good local independent supermarket. The butchers' shop was excellent with a very good range of meat, vegetables and other products. The small number of shops caters for the needs of most people. The caravan park was excellent. The toilets and showers were some of the best and cleanest that we have seen. There was a choice of gravel, grass or concrete pads to park our van and the park is dog friendly. The park was very quiet. The park backs onto the Murray River. The local council has done a great job, constructing a walking track along the river for about 1km. It features BBQs, toilets, seats and the lawns are very attractive. It is a highly desirable area to visit. At $48.00 per night for a powered site, I thought that this was a little overpriced. Do yourself a favour and spend a night or two here,.
