Looking to get away from the hustle of the city? The Yosemite RV Resort is your perfect getaway destination for visiting Yosemite National Park. In no time, you will be hiking Yosemite waterfalls, trying to push the big rock at Half Dome. Our campground encompasses more than 35 acres of Oak trees, and Manzanita trees with a large pool, horseshoe pits, and a playground for the kids. Enjoy camping among the beautiful rolling hills and the tranquil environment under the stars. Don’t have an RV or a tent? No problem! We have great Camping Cabins and Yurts available. With spacious camping sites, our campground is situated in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills near Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Park, and Kings Canyon National Park.
This “resort” is outrageously overpriced. The pool at the entrance seemed like it might be okay but we didn’t hang around to find out. The RV sites are small and ugly. No grassy areas at all. Just dirt and gravel. And the picnic table at our site was falling apart/extremely dirty. Wifi was terrible. Also, location is not as “close” to Yosemite as advertised. You’d save money and be closer to the park if you got a hotel room in Oakhurst (several new hotels there that had just been built, with rooms cheaper than the site as this park) and leaving your rig in the hotel parking lot.

We ate at the restaurant one night and checked out the rentals. We returned the next morning to rent a pontoon boat. We enjoyed a burger, fish and chips, a pastrami melt and ice cream. The food was very good---the pastrami melt is to die for. The girls working the food area are very friendly and were helpful in dealing with a food allergy that requires one to look at the ice cream containers. After eating, we walked down the dock to compare the rentals with the rentals where we were staying. The boats at Millers have higher horse power than their competitor, and the prices were comparable. We appreciated how friendly we found everyone to be at Millers and the following day we decided to support their business. We rented a 20' pontoon boat. The rental process was very smooth. The young man who set the boat up for us was friendly. We had a great day on the Lake, as it was virtually empty since it was the day before the Memorial Weekend was to start. Returning the boat was easy as well. We highly recommend Miller's Landing Resort.

The Forks Resort, located on Bass Lake, in the Sierra National Forest, is only fourteen miles from the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park and eight miles from the southern end of the Golden Chain Highway through California's Gold Country. Our first time visiting! The view on that side of the lake is beautiful as is the drive to North Fork from there. We tried the breakfast and were not disappointed! I had the diced ham and eggs - tasty and reasonable portion. My husband had the mountain breakfast and was thrilled at the huge portions (2 plates worth!). The pancakes were spectacular - the size of a plate and you get two! He is a pancake connosuer and these were fluffy, chewy and very tasty. He was so excited that he wants to go back everyday! I wanna try the burgers ?.

A short drive from spectacular Yosemite National Park, High Sierra RV Park & Campground sits directly on the banks of the seasonal Fresno River in Oakhurst, CA.
Small RV park with an easy drive to Yosemite. A little difficult to maneuver our truck and trailer with other RV’s who park crooked and leave their vehicles in the driveway. Would like to see better recycling options. No map was provided and all I could find was trash dumpsters.

This was our first getaway after the COVID lockdown was eased, and we enjoyed getting back to camping. Our campsite (#9) had a beautiful view of the lake, and the bathroom was nearby and clean. Swimming in the lake was fun, and it felt great to be outdoors again. Showers are available at Miller's Landing. The one and only drawback was the noise from all the motorboats, jet skis, wave runners etc. - didn't feel as serene as campgrounds we would usually seek out. Even so, nice getaway!

In the foothills of California's High Sierra, this low-key resort with cabins is .3 miles from the Bass Lake recreation area and 18 miles from Yosemite National Park. The woodsy cabins include Wi-Fi and kitchens, as well as living and dining areas. Amenities include an outdoor pool, shuffle board, horseshoes and a food court. There's also a children's playground and a clubhouse. Tent and RV sites are also available.
We stayed at Bass Lake RV Park as a Homebase for visiting Yosemite National Park. What a mistake. The Camp Sites are literally on a steep mountainside. Almost impossible to pull into. The RV Park itself is in disrepair and pretty disgusting. No attention is being given to the grounds or common areas. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

This is an ideal location near a lakeside picnic area. Camp sites vary in size and many are in the smaller range but we still had a lot of fun there. The staff is great there. We went as a family with a small child. Many campsites had shade at times of the day which helped in the 90+ degree heat. Depending on the weekend the campers there can be hard on the property which makes it difficult for even a large crew to clean up. Like most campgrounds it is always helpful if the people camping there are respectful and clean up after themselves. This camp is also a short drive or slight walk to Miller's Landing for supplies and some hot food.

We didn’t take up any of of their time or ask for any help with planning. The only communication we had was the single visit to tour the venue and emails when we booked. We understand we signed a contact, but the venue literally has A FULL YEAR to fill our spot so the terms seem unreasonable. It would be entirely understandable if we were charged a cancellation fee, but keeping the entire $2000 deposit is exorbitant and just wrong. This feels like theft. It is a very tough time for us, so we pleaded with their business to please consider the monetary impact our cancellation had and charge us a more congruent amount... Beware. If you do choose to book here, be absolutely sure you have made the right decision or hope that nothing bad comes up in your life because they will not care. Most importantly, consider if this is the type of place you want to do business with. That said, Debby is wonderful and it was great working with her. She sympathized with our situation, but the decision was not hers to make.

Cons: - Do NOT Google driving directions, it will take you to the campsite office which is nowhere near the actual camp grounds...make sure you have the GPS coordinates. Pro tip, download the map to your phone...once up there, there's is zero cell reception - The roads are pretty twisty, you have to get off the main road onto a dirt road which isn't the best. Seems a lot of ppl complain about it, yes, it's bad but I did it with my Prius V without issues. There were ppl with motor homes and campers at the site as well. - Get ready for tons of dust...yeah it's camping, expect your feet/shoes to be brown the whole time - I assume you already know about the vaulted toilets and no running water...there's a creek so technically there's running water :) - Mosquitos...got 2-3 bites, not terrible, been through worse - There's a dumpers near the camp entrance and trash bins located between camp sites. The trash bins are pretty small and can take 3-4 trash bags. They empty them out twice a day but will fill up fast. - Finding your site - there's a map at the entrance numbered 1-12 which do NOT coincide with reservation numbers "FS2-30". It says "Look for your name at the campsite". There's a 3ft post with a clip and a piece of paper approximately the size of a post-it with your last name and reservation days. You'll more or less have to do a lap and look for these signs to find your site. If you arrive late at night...well good luck. Pros: - Huge camp sites that are well spaced out. There were 4 or 5 other groups...we almost never heard or saw them. - Picnic tables, fire pits, and some had BBQ pits. - Tons of dead or try wood for fire...having said that pine burns pretty fast but great for roasting marshmallows - Kids loved it. 3 families total, 5 kids ages ranging 5-7 (2 boys 3 girls) - Couple of hiking trails, not much to see other than cows and cow poop - Mostly shaded...we went in the middle of July, it was in the low 90s which was cool for that time of the year but since since we're under the trees it was very comfortable. It does get chilly at night...bring a good sleeping bag or 3-season tent. - The creek is pretty accessible, there are areas dam'ed up by fallen trees which create a little pool. Great place to fill up shower bags. - It's about 30 mins to Bass Lake and close to Yosemite Spent two nights there and the kids had a great time, having spacious and shaded camp sites is a major plus. This was my first time camping without running water or flushing toilets so that was a little rough. I'll likely never do that again, at least not with the wife and kids. If you're prepared and know what you're getting into it can be fun.

We had a very pleasant stay here. Tent was nicely equipped, it was quite spacious for 4 persons. Campsite has a BBQ and a fire pit. You can buy charcoal and wood at the little shop. The pool was nice and the staff very friendly. We wished we could have stayed a day or two longer.
