The service was excellent. We received a very warm and heartfelt welcome upon arrival. The host was very helpful in terms of suggesting sight seeing places. She chatted to us every evening. The room was kept clean on a daily basis. I would certainly return there.

Relax and enjoy true hospitality at our refuge in Limpopo. On the southern banks of the Letaba River, only 68 km east of Tzaneen in the province of Limpopo, lies ATKV Eiland Spa in the heart of the Hans Merensky nature reserve. Eiland Spa, with its year-round warm, sunny weather and diverse natural beauty, is one of the most popular resorts in South Africa. With its variety of self-catering accommodation, recreational facilities and activities, restaurant and healing hydro-spa, ATKV Eiland Spa is the ideal place for the entire family to come and relax. The serene tranquillity and peaceful silence of the Bushveld surroundings create the ideal atmosphere for positive and imaginative business planning and team building.
This was our first visit to the Eiland and hopefully not the last. It was really a great vacation and a fantastic resort. Would recommend it to anybody who would like to just get away from everything and have a rest.

Only 3.5 hours drive from Johannesburg, this stunning 450 hectare game farm offers the wildlife enthusiasts excellent game viewing, horseback rides and bird watching. Game drives and walks let you encounter animals such as zebra, giraffe, 10 species of antelope and plenty of small game. These beautiful stone and thatch chalets are set among indigenous trees to create the perfect backdrop for sundowners and a braai. Game Drives may be pre-booked at Waterberg Game Park. Unfortunately no private vehicles are allowed on our Game drives.
We were disappointed and felt unsafe as a number of windows were cracked and broken, the lights were super dim and some not working and the couches were stained. On top of it all the units have a distinct smell with the bath water changing colour to blue after a while. We had reported these issues to reception a number of times and they advised that windows had been ordered and there is nothing they can do. I also invited the receptionist to come to the room to see and smell for herself, which she did not do. I was also rather disappointed at the rather limited knowledge the receptionist had on the area attractions and when she did manage to provide details on the Ziplining, the incorrect details were provided. Further training is definitely required here. On the positive side - the resort has great activities for the kids, and adults too and these seemed better maintained then the chalets. There is also no network or WiFi anywhere except at the restaurant. We had booked this family get away through The Holiday Club timeshare option, with the resort having a 4/5 rating. We were allocated W6 and W10.

This is not a regular business. Only two pensioners who can not live from the US$130 per month pension we receive, who are willing to share our little paradise with nice members of the public. IF YOU WANT TO COME HERE TO COMPLAIN OR GIVE NEGATIVE CRITICISM, THEN PLEASE DO NOT COME. We enjoy positive feedback and will try to implement good suggestions. We are in between the two top Game ranches in South Africa and we enjoy their animals and listen to them at night. We are directly on the Klaserie river where the leopard often roars at night. Here you will find no luxuries, but clean, functional and comfortable rooms. They have a queensize bed, a 3/4 bed, a air cooler, a roof fan, a DVD player, a kitchenette, a fridge, microwave and a BBQ spot. We even have European plugs to charge your phones or camera. Also free Wi-Fi. The Two bush tents have romantic open bush showers, and basic electric things. No Kitchen, but a coffee station and a BBQ. Please see our photos.
This is an amazing place to stay when you are just using it as your base to see the area or to visit Kruger. It is quiet and relaxing with the sound of lions and Hyenas calling at night. Will visit them again.

We are a young South African family sharing our dream of life in the bush. An opportunity for an affordable bushveld experience without the danger of big 5, but still have a selection of natural wildlife, birds and flora explore in a private Tented Bush Camp. Our Accommodation boasts traditional large safari tents, set on decks overlooking the bush.
Hello !! We have incredible memories of our stay at Kélora Bush Camp. We are from the South of France and wanted adventure, the two of us and our 17 and a half year old son. Jenny & Kristen are people who know how to welcome and are warm company. We laughed a lot together and without forgetting their sweet little girl. The game drive at the top with aperitif at sunset. And all those wild animals wow!!! The gourmet breakfast, the brunch, the memorable dinners and the barbecue around the fire whit Kristen on guitar with songs was amazing. If asked if we would go back, oh yes. Adick, Dennis and Latifa
