The Kali Adventure camp is nestled in the forest, beside the Kali river. The rooms are spacious and tidy. There is a common dining area(Gol ghar) made of thatched bamboo, where homely, mouth-watering food is served. There is a wide variety to pick from. The resort not only has its exquisite scenery but also provides various activities for the tourists to engage in such as river rafting, coracle ride, jungle safari, birdwatching, nature walk and a trip to Syntheri Rock. These activities add on to the knowledge about the jungle. Overall it is hospitable and the staff’s kindness, generosity and utmost care make you feel at home.

Located just 6 Km from the Jog Falls, Sharavathi Adventure Camp combines the grandeur of the plush mountains with a dash of adventure. Tucked snugly on the slopes of a hillock skirting the Talakalale Reservoir, this resort is a great place to revere the invigorating melange of sunshine and rain. Every season brings a new reason to visit these salubrious mountains.
It's An awesome place. It's on the side of the talakalele reservoir. They have some 18 cottages to offer and most of them provide a nice view. Don't miss out the sunset view from balcony. Cottages are 1 bedroom 1 bathroom 1 balcony away from each other cottages. Reaching some of the cottages need some amount of steps, walking and climbing. There is a boat ride, kayaking, swimming etc already part of the package. But jetski is charged extra. They take for 30 minutes of ride itself. On the first day afternoon we did all these and really enjoyed boating and kayaking. Next day morning they took us to Jog falls, showed both front and side views. On the way also some bird watching experience. By the time we are back from jog falls, it was time for breakfast and then freshen up and check out. Based on our experience, the following suggestions: Day1: check-in at 1 pm, you can also have lunch here they will call you to confirm your veg/non-veg preference Have lunch and take some rest 4 pm they start boating and water activities 545 to 6 pm watch sunset, from balcony preferably Dinner at 8 or 9 pm Day2: Tea served at 645 am Vehicle to jog falls at 7am or 715 am Option to go for a nature Trek instead of jog falls Food they serve is simple but tasty. Also the staff is friendly and nice Tip: if possible avoid weekend rush and book on a Friday or Monday stay.

Highlights 1. No mobile network, Airtel, Vodafone and even BSNL, tested and certified :-) 2. Simple and testy food. Good varieties. 3. Cool and very much enjoyable mornings and evenings. 4. Clean, well maintained, and specious wooden cottages. This place is about 800m inside from the main road with well-placed sign board on the main road itself. Comes on the right side if coming from Northern/Western side and on the left if coming from south-east (Kalasa) end. Make sure to keep the forest entry pass issues at the check posts as those would be needed during the exit at the forest check posts. Bhadra river marks the southern boundary of the property. Cottages and tents are spread out evenly to maintain privacy. Cottages are specious with one double bed and one single bed which can accommodate family of four. Bathroom was clean with running hot water, fresh towels, and toilet kit. The property is quite big to walk around and explore. Lots of birds can be seen. Walk on the riversides are nice with jungle on the other side. Mornings and evenings staffs arrange for complementary nature walks and those are amazing to explore the surrounding jungle by foot, provided one is ready to walk. The sights and sounds of are simply superb. Less likely to see any wildlife except birds but rest assured they are there if you can spot their signs. The manager and all the staffs are very welcoming, polite and friendly. JLR also arranges trek to various peaks and Jeep safari at an extra cost. Both provide awesome experiences. Though Jeep safari is more of scenic drive through jungle and mountain rather than a game drive. Overall a very nice all round experience.

We were here in the month of July where it was raining. The jungle came alive during this time as well as we spotted Giant squirrels and butter-fly within the camp. The food served was fresh, hot and tasty and the staff was very helpful. The manager Mr. Shashidhar gave us a lot of information about birds and animals and also showed us black panther video which was exciting. The river within the camp was great site.

The inimitable rush of untamed terrain - gorges, valleys, forests and swirling, swollen and frothing white water: that's what the Kali Adventure Camp at Dandeli is about. A sprawling bungalow on the banks of the majestic Kali River, this wilderness camp is all about making a connection with nature. Take a walk down the wild side and discover just how invigorating it can be. Discover the sheer adrenalin rush of being alive.
We have been visiting Jungle Lodges for many years now. For some reason or the other, a visit to K. Gudi had never materialised. Finally, we are glad we planned a visit. As you have come to expect of any Jungle Lodges, the stay was comfortable, hospitality was amazing, and safaris memorable. Food was simple, yet tasty and we enjoyed all our meals. Staff were always courteous, be it front office, kitchen or safari guide. We loved all the safaris into the jungle, though the animal sightings can be fewer. If you like watching birds, this is a great place. As much as we enjoyed the stay, we were disappointed with a group of 7-8 people, who were visiting the place more to have a "good time" than to enjoy the serenity of the jungle. They were noisy, they had brought alcohol, which was clearly not allowed, and they didn't seem to care for rules or other guests. They didn't have any clue about what a wilderness camp is supposed to be. They sure seemed like some influential group who could get their way. It was really sad to witness this behaviour at a wilderness lodge. We hope we don't come across such groups at any of the Jungle Lodges again.

Brew Your Self Some Indulgence and Move Towards Forest. An ideal getaway located in amidst of Coorg and Chikamangalur on western ghats, Mookanana Resort is among the finest luxury resorts in Sakleshpur near by Coorg and is poised to be featured among the best luxury resorts. Spread over 50 acres of pristinely wooded forest, with Mookanana Mane waterfalls, lakes, mists, and early morning dew, bird songs, and cicadas and a deep hue of lush green adjoined towards Bisle Ghat Forest.
Me and my friends family landed here on 25th Feb (3 weeks ago) to be precise. We had a very detailed conversation regarding the pricing as it was too expensive 44K for 2 nights for 2 family. After all conversation we locked down at 42K for 2 rooms assuming its worth investing if it gives us a luxury experience for our families for 2 days. They claimed. the reason for this costing is "its one of the luxury resorts of Sakelshpur" Day 1: We ended up in the resort. Checked In. - First thing AC wasnt cooling although switching ON - Thought it will take sometime so we waited. It was same ... very hot ... in fact outside the room, it was much better so we preferred to sit outside meanwhile calling helper staff - Helper came and told it would get colder and its because of the heat outside :) . Believe me if an AC at 16C couldnt cool the room till 2 hrs ... :) - Next none of the channels (movie/ssport) was functioning which they claimed to work or rather didnt have knowledge . We knew that it was not paid for view. But we were surprised to see that the staff were not able to figure that out this channel is not paid by them and hence you woudnt get this. Instead they were saying it would work in some time. One of the helper said there is a signal issue because of a LARGE TREE outside :) :) So with all this AC and TV Mess, after 5 hours we got the room changed obviously after asking for it and atleast the AC problem got sorted out after that. Point here is SERVICE STAFF is not well equipped to handle queries on Maintaince for a claimed luxury resort. It was even. pathetic considering a normal 2-star resort experience in that sense - Amenities are as usual as any other 2-3 star resort. View to be honest not great. Swimming pool is normal. Food was good. - We had a nature walk leading to a river trail again not really amazing. - Room Cleaning was not throughout 2 days and only done when asked for. - Kayaking in Man made lake timing was only for few hours. Fishing was claimed to be available but wasnt the case. When we shed 44K, we do expect a WoW experience which to be honest didnt get for 2 days we stayed. All we did was stay in the room and watch cricket and kabaddi matches which we could have done in Bangalore at our home. If you want a true LUXURY RESORT experience STAY AWAY from this resort. there is nothing near by this resort to experience as well so you will be stuck here. You need to go with their package outside which again is 8000 Rs + . After shedding 44K any additional expense is too much to bear.

Excellent place to get close with elephants, courteous staff, good food, stay cottages available, pick up & drop by motor boat from mainland available. Elephant interaction, feeding, bathing & photo / video options were mind blowing.
