Vicenza’s history dates back to pre-Roman times, but it’s a Renaissance figure, Andrea Palladio, with whom the city is most associated. One of the preeminent figures in Western architecture, Palladio built more than twenty buildings here, including the Basilica Palladiana, the Palazzo Chiericati (home to Vicenza’s museum and art gallery), the Teatro Olimpico (his last and some say greatest work) and many other palaces and villas, leading UNESCO to designate the city as a World Heritage Site.

Situated in the peaceful countryside of Grumulo delle Abbadesse, between Vicenza and Padova, "La Risarona" Farmhouse is the best location to enjoy the stay in a rural idyll. The Farmhouse lies on the shore of a lovely little lake which gives you the pleasure of relaxing in front of the spring water of an ancient rice field. The rooms, tidy and full of comforts, are decorated with warm colors and filled with natural wooden furniture in order to create an intimate atmosphere.
This is our favorite hotel for visiting Venice. It is 10 min to the Grisignano di Zocco train station which is a straight 63 min train ride into S. Lucia, the main train station into Venice. It is a great central location for visiting Sirmone at Lake Garda (1 hour 11 min) and 47 min to Verona. The train into Venice is only 6 euros one way per person. The hotel is gorgeous and tranquil. It is completely quiet. This is our 5 th visit. We always get the 35 meter suite. It is huge with a power shower. There is an adorable table and four chairs as well as a flat tv, a comfortable bed and two sitting chairs. It is so lovely that sometimes we get food to go at the nearby grocery store just to eat in the room. We were there in June 2020 and it was 99 degrees f. The air conditioning was cold! It was wonderful! The breakfast might be my favorite part. Roberta makes homemade sweet cakes and serves them along with a plate of cheese, fluffy eggs, yogurt, fruit plate, homemade jams. She also served fresh coffee grown locally and a carafe of both water and orange juice. Our table was full from food. Roberta and her mother run the place completely. They couldn't be more genuinely kind. This was accidentally tested this week as my husband left his bag on the train. We called them from the train station to help us. Our car keys were in the lost bag so we were stuck. The mother, Gabriella, rescued us from the train station and called the police. This took over an hour on waiting for them to check the train. Then the next day she contacted the police and asked for help at the train station as a traveler found it. She then took us to the Vicenza train station and after contacting police and waiting for our bag, took us back to the other train station where our car was. They had around 5 hours of time lost on us. Then they wouldn't let us pay them. They were both so kind and loving. We truly adore them! The place could not be cleaner. I always thought that and this time I see the cleaning lady washing the table and chairs in another room. The free Wi Fii works great! There is plenty of free parking. Be sure to visit Beerstro a few minutes away for the best Pizza ever!

In the hearth of the city, an entirely restructured small palace of the 18th century hosts the exclusive and sophisticated premises of the Relais Santa Corona. Prestigious and charming, looking out on one of the most suggestive areas of the city, just a few steps away from Corso Palladio, from Piazza dei Signori and from the Olympic Theatre, it's the ideal place for an unforgettable stay in Vicenza.
A great place to stay in the Centro Storico. The room was generously sized, clean and nicely appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was generally quiet, although I could occasionally hear the footsteps of the family in the room above. The staff was very friendly. My only complaint is that wifi could be a bit slow.

A COUNTRY VILLA A former villa dt. 1700, elegantly refurbished and beautifully re-decorated. Healing for the soul. The Agriturismo Relais San Michele is situated in the green 'Valley of Silence', a very romantic and charming oasis placed at the back of the Villa Capra, better known as the 'Villa La Rotonda' by Andrea Palladio, one of the most beautiful Veneto Villas, surrounded by the Gardens of the Berici Hills. Here, at the Relais San Michele we offer you seven spacious and bright Guest-rooms as well as a hot tub in the garden. The ideal place for a relaxing holiday, the San Michele is only a few miles from the historical centre of Vicenza and, even though it lies in the middle of nature it is a very convenient starting-point for all those places worth sight-seeing in the Veneto region where one can also try and taste all the typical dishes. No pets allowed In our estate wild hares and pheasants, magpies, blackbirds, robins and many other species of birds Walk Villa Rotonda Arch. Andrea Palladio half an hour, everyone's reach, in the midst of unspoiled nature of antiquity
We stayed there with the family and small children for 4 nights. The location is perfect, close to the city center but in the nature, very quiet. Breakfast is great, in the summer must be awesome to take it in the beautiful garden. Plenty of space for children to play outside. The rooms are big a spotless. Super friendly hosts. A car is however needed to explore the area.

Ca Beregana, an ancient structure dating back to 1620 has always enjoyed the benefit of the unique location at the edge of the city for tranquility and scenery with views of the hills. It was recently renovated considering the destination for reception space. The rooms and suites are equipped with all comfort to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Residence Ca Beregana offers guests an outdoor pool surrounded by greenery; wellness area with sauna, turkish bath, emotional shower and relax area; a equipped portico and private garden. There are also bicycles to reach the nearby Old Town or enjoy walking around the area.
As an American who travels frequently, I recommend staying here if you are not afraid to be around friendly people who are not Americans. It would be sad if you go to Italy (Vicenza) and only live around Americans on vacation or business travels; take a chance and throw yourself into the local community. The locals here are truly friendly and extremely helpful. I most certainly will stay here when am in Vicenza. I truly felt the warmth from every staff member.

My boyfriend and I are from Austria and stayed at „B&B Nonna Amelia“ for holidays when we made a small „Giro d’Italia“ in September 2016. We’re travelling a lot, so we’ve already seen plenty of B&B, but we’ve never been in such good hands. The „B&B Nonna Amelia“ is situated in the middle of a farming area, so there’s a lot of nature around and it’s a very calm place. Nevertheless it’s easy to reach and also close to Vicenza. The hosting family is extraordinary friendly and they really give you the feeling to be welcome. The accommodation is all made new, the rooms are incomparably furnished and decorated lovingly and elegant. There is all stuff in you may need like W-Lan, TV, hairdryer, air condition,… And the most important thing (anyway for us) it’s extremely clean and well-tended. Also the breakfast is considerably and there are even home-made, delicious cakes every morning. We really want to recommend this extraordinary B&B and I’m sure we’ll return there in near future.

Nice B&B in a comfortable and conveniently spacious apartement on the third floor, equipped with lift, Villa Lattes is located 2 km away from the historical centre of Vicenza and from the railway station. The Fair area and the Vicenza Ovest A4 exit are situated 3.5 km far from Villa Lattes, easy to reach in a few minutes by ring road. We live next to a public garden, in the residential neighborhood of Santa Bertilla, well served by public transport to the town centre and to the station: the bus stop is 100 meters away. There are many shops, restaurants and pizzerias in the area. At guest disposal three large and bright rooms provided with air conditioning & Wi-Fi. A rich Italian breakfast with typical Venetian products is included. We can accommodate in an en-suite bedroom with a balcony, in a triple room with a large bathroom next door, or in an renewed en-suite double room. In every room single beds or king size beds are available. Our B&B is smoking free.
Although in the center of the center (Vicenza is not large anyway), we had in exchange a brilliant view over the whole city and the scenic mountainous silhouette. Each room is equipped with a 4+star hotel standard bathroom. Our flat was on the upper floor, extremely spacious. It even has a private kitchen and dining area. The sitting room and common kitchen downstairs were very lovely. The owner is very super friendly even to Italian standard. She speaks german and english and offered us tips for Vicenza as well as surrounding towns. In summary our one night in this flat was absolutely one of the best travel experience we had in Europe. 女主人特别友善,给了我们很多tips。房间又大又漂亮,厕所很奢华。虽然不是市中心,但是不行来往火车站和市中心都很方便。推荐!!

It is very well located, near the main street of Vicenza. There are also many bus stops around, so you can do a lot from there. The owner was so nice and helpful. The room and bed were perfect. Also great views from the room. If I ever come back to Vicenza I will stay there again.

Our country farm house opens its doors to you while you are travelling in Italy, in the Veneto Region. Vicenza, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, is the center of an area rich in artistic splendors and industrially very active. We are prepared to receive you in a peaceful valley planted with daffodils, iris and daylilies, only three kilometers (two miles) from the city center and near the bicycle path of the Riviera Berica. From our terrace you enjoy the view of the fields and woods with the La Rotonda, Valmarana ai Nani and Fogazzaro villas in the background.Among the most interesting activities available to you are visits to Palladian Villas, Palaces and the Olympic Theater; excursions to Verona; ceramics shopping in Marostica, Bassano and Asolo; trips to Padova, the city of Giotto, St. Anthony and Galileo, journeys to Venice and Treviso distant less than one hour by train or car; tours of the Dolomites or hiking and cycling in the surrounding hills.
We traveled around Italy for a month and spent 7 nights here with our 11 year old son. Loved every minute of our stay. Beautiful room and home, lovely gardens and surrounds. The hosts were amazing and lent us push bikes to ride through the neighboring vineyard 15 minutes into town. Hosts were very helpful when our son got sick. Highly recommend.
