The rooms are big, very clean and fairly priced. The internet connection is great. I mistakenly booked the wrong date and the staff changed my reservation and waived the cancellation fee, everything without any hassle. It's nice to deal with reasonable and friendly people!

The place is clean and the people nice, but it represents basic accommodation. My room was small and odd shaped with the bathroom jutting into it. Furnishing are cheap and uncoordinated. Also, the front door is kept locked so you always have to ring to be let in. Wifi is stable and breakfast is basic, but filling.

I rarely post a bad review but I do think this place deserves it. I had read some earlier opinions about noisy and cold rooms, and bad breakfast, but decided to give this place a try. We got all three of them contributing to a poor experience. First at arrival, 8pm in winter, the room was quite cold; we wearing jackets. Staff asking us to check if radiator valves were open (to me, now it looks they were buying time) and after an our or so they told they had just turn the central heating on, and it takes a while to warm up. After a while it did warm up and temperature was ok during the night. But if one arrives much earlier, or just stays for multiple nights, you are supposed to be cold all day? Then in the night we were awakened many times. The room is in front of the lobby, just crossing the garage entrance. So we heard several times the iron gate opening and closing, and cars passing by or staying in front of the lobby with engines on. Ridiculously enough, at 3am someone (must be a friend of someone in the staff) just stopped for a conversation, engine on, loud music on, right in front of our room's window. We could have had a much better sleep time... Finally, breakfast: they gave you the choice of receiving it in the room, so we opted to get it 9am. No news at 9... at 9:20 I walk by the lobby (phone was not working or always busy tone) and they promise to send it. No news. At 9:40 I go again and they argue they are understaffed, too many breakfasts to be served.... So while do they offer and agree to take it to your room at a defined time? After arguing and staying in the front desk until getting it, we finally got breakfast at 9:45. A breakfast which was sort of poor: industrial jam, hot water and milk so you make your own tea or coffee (no fresh hot coffee), and sandwich-type bread per person. A note on the room: it was supposed to be an apartment to accommodate 3 persons in one room and 2 on the other. Instead, it was like one big connected room; with 5 individual beds (no queen/king bed in main room and no privacy). On the positive note, the room was clean, and beds were comfortable. I also asked the receptionist for something not in the minibar and he was very friendly to get it. But I pay a hotel for sleep and breakfast, and in both aspects our experience was far from good.

Stayed at Las Heras for 1 night. The experience was very strange. The room we got is located in the neighbouring house and they make it very complicated to get in. When we got there we rang the bell they asked us to go to the other door where we paid but then they asked us to go to the former outside door to get into the hostel, then we passed by a parking lot and ended up in the house where the rooms are. To enter and exit that area you have to use yet another door to the outside. If you wanted to get breakfast it was very annoying annoying since you had to go out and then go to the other door and it was very rainy in Temuco. The room was very basic, no storage and very cold, no heating other than a fireplace in the common area outside of the rest of the rooms. Bathrooms were clean and hot water was available (thank god!).The staff is very friendly which sadly is the only really positive experience about this place. I hope they can figure out a better way to handle guest mobility within the area.
