The room was actually quite nice and had a fabulous shower! Even though the toilet was broken and difficult to flush, the room was fine. We ordered breakfast for 8 a.m. and needed to leave for Heathrow by 9, we were told that this would be fine when we checked in (breakfast runs 8-10 a.m.) When we went to the restaurant for breakfast at 8 a.m. the doors were locked and the cook was standing outside. She told us she had been there for an hour waiting to start work. The owner would not answer her phone calls. While waiting outside in the beer garden it was obvious that the staff had partied a bit too much the evening prior, especially obvious when waking up to all of their trash and empty glasses and liquor bottles still out. We knew it was the staff because we saw them when we went to bed. We did finally get breakfast 30 min late (thanks to the cook who promised to get started as soon as she got inside) but only had time to eat half before catching our taxi. There was another couple there that never received their food and were about to leave all together. This place has great potential but is poorly managed. The village is lovely. We stopped at 3 pubs, all great: Punch Bowl (cheapest beer), Old Geoge, and ended at Ostrich (more expensive per pint by 1 or 2 pounds).

Built in the 1890’s and typical of a Victorian construction the White House was originally owned by the crown estates of Windsor castle, then during the 2nd world war it operated as a doctors surgery serving the local community including a factory where hurricane’s and spitfire’s were built. Now surrounded in a residential area, the White House has easy access to local attractions/amenities i.e. Lego land, Windsor castle, Windsor race course, Ascot race course,Thorpe Park, Black Park, Langley Park, London Heathrow, Slough trading estate and Pinewood Studios. We have secure car park, which is accessed through an electrically operated remote controlled security shutter. There are two restaurants within walking distance, The Toby and Harvester. The Marriot hotel is also in walking distance.
We only stayed one night prior to an early departure from Terminal 5 Heathrow but thought that this accommodation offered very good value for money in a convenient location. Pleasant & friendly staff could not have been more helpful. Nice outdoor seating area. Secure off road parking and wifi provided. Due to the style of cabins, noise could be heard from one next door. (Not a problem for us as our friends in the next cabin were getting up early to leave with us). Fairly compact cabin with all expected facilities though not a lot of room around double bed. Would certainly recommend.

We traveled May 2019, didn't have time to review until now. It's not a bad place, very cheap and we booked 4 rooms with 14 people total. We were met with a lovely lady who showed us the room, only after taking 10 minutes looking for her. That is not our issue, the issue is the cleaner. We asked for an extra pillow for our daughter and the lady who showed us the room took us to the cleaner to ask him for an extra pillow. He cursed out the lady in Polish. Since my wife is Polish, she understood what he said and didn't think he was very professional. The lady didn't understand him, smiled at us and ushered us back to the office. We never received the pillow and we would never book this place again. I would urge the owners to review their employees because the cleaner that we met when we were there was not professional at all.

If you want to stay at a random house on a random housing estate,,, reached via an alleyway this is for you.... The owner was friendly enough but there was a very young child running around. The place was clean inside but the bedding and table cloth had never seen an iron. You were expected to clean the bath and toilet with wipes, there was no bin in the bathroom, so I expect these should be flushed away..... not very eco friendly.... I felt quite unomfortabe and didn't even know these places existed....... By any amount of imagination this is not a hotel but were hotel prices...... Sorry not or me, ever........

We had to travel down to Langley for a family funeral. Not the best circumstances but we found this guest house and we thought it was a decent price. We booked directly with the Landlord and we explained the reasons behind the trip and the requirements of the trip. (Twin Room, parking needed as we had a disabled guest) We was ensured by the man that it would all be sorted and that we would be able to park on the front. So on the morning we was due to leave we had a phone call and we confirmed details and the lady said that they was away for a family event so wouldn't be around. So I assumed during our stay we might of at least seen them once but they was not to be seen. Upon arrival I had the code for the front door but unlike promised the cleaner had not left the key in the room so I had to ring and ask for the code to be able to get the key. When we eventually got into the room, the bed was made as a double and I had to ring up and ask for someone to come over and change the bed into a twin not a double. So we went off to see family, I tried to text three times to arrange where I needed to leave the key. No answer.... So when we got back the bed had been done but no staff around. We went to bed and then the following morning there was constant coming and going from 6am till about 8am. It was non stop just not what we expected when we was looking for quiet time to grieve. When we came back from breakfast the cleaner was in the hallway bags of laundry everywhere we had to clamber over them to get to our bedroom. Cleanliness 1) The shower would not drain away upon pulling the drain bit up it was full of hair and black and dirty. 2) The shower and hand soap looked so old and was not even usable .... 3) Tiles black with mould in the shower 4) Bed sheet where marked with black marks and one bed had a sticker stuck to the bed sheet. (Clearly Cleaner not good at her job) 5) Sink dirty and cracked. 6) stairs all dusty 7) floor needed a good hoover dust on edges 8) Batteries dead in both remotes had to buy new 9) Bins not emptied once whilst we stayed. So we was open and honest as to why we was using the guest house and the fact that our family had lost a relative. We was called at stupid O'clock by the owners to ask if we had made payment, even after we paid she still called asking for payment. I reluctantly paid for this stay it was not worth the money Why would you hound guests when we was assured we could pay when we arrived not our fault the family who runs this place do not actually work on the site. When I messaged to say I left an item we was told the cleaner only will look and send it to me if I pay £10. Since when do cleaners decide how much there willing to charge to help a customer out and return an item. So Overall not a good stay.... We will never stay again and anyone thinking of going I would think again.... Cancel now.... Get your money back!!!

Booked this place for business purposes over 3 months in advance. Turned up last night to be told at the bar that they did not have any rooms available, and no evidence of my booking - despite me having a confirmation from the well known booking app?!?!?! On further investigation with The best booking app company, it turns out that the pub management had overbooked (I wonder if the fact that Royal Ascot is on this week, and maybe the deal I secured back in April was not quite so lucrative had something to do with this?). I’ve worked in the hotel business in my past, and never seen this happen - nor has it happened to me using hotel booking sites. Not to be trusted to honour bookings!!

I am visiting this Hotel for almost 1 year now, up to 3 times per week. Since it has a new owner, I can see so much nice changes happening. Everyone who said it’s so bad here, I can understand, because it WAS. But every week I am checking in, I can see new good changes and results. Sure it will take time, because of all that work, but i think this hotel will have a very nice future and I am looking forward to see all the steps! The Manager is always so friendly and it feels very familiar! I would always come back here! Give it a try, see the changes, it’s amazing to follow it!
