Sinaia is famous for its natural beauty and the rumored medicinal properties of its mineral springs. Known as “the Carpathian Pearl,” it’s a lovely mountain town whose main attractions are castles, alpine activities like hiking and skiing, and a 17th-century monastery that is still inhabited today.

The hotel looks good on the outside, but on the inside thinds look different. The heating system works only in certain conditions the personnel on the reception is impolite and you have to wait half an hour to check in,there are not enough parking spaces and nobody cares. The breakfast is ok in the first part of the morning, later is not ok. The staff of the restaurant is friendly and the food is ok. The room is clean and towels changed daily.

Probably the only villa in Sinaia, which is still owned and run buy the family which built it 1929. Our grandparents built the villa in 1929 as holiday house for them and their family. In 1947 the communists nationalized the villa and neither our grandparents nor our parents could use it for more then 50 years. We got in court our property in 2000, in a very poor condition. For several years we had renovated the villa bringing it to the XXI century standards.
You can choose a lot of places in Sinaia, but the reasons for chosing Vila ARIZTO should be convincing enough to look no further: - Excelent location -Vista is superb (chose the one room suite; it has a loggia that opens all around with windows towards the mountains) -Very good conditions: temperature, hot water, coffe and coffe maker, tea and how water pot, but most importantly, it's the only location I've seen in Romania that offers bathrobes and slippers- standard of comfort like you have in Japan only. Bathrobes and slippers took the cake for me! -Very good breakfast (they offer pretty much everything possible/traditional for breakfast in Europe) - Wonderful people, truly you may ask and receive advice you can trust on all things of Sinaia (including food) - Historical, atmospheric, a place with a soul. Most interestingly, in the basement they preserved with a glass wall a piece visible from the rock on which the vila has been built in 1929. Really lovely to see it.

I stayed in this hotel for one night (Dec 30th). Good things: the food and the size of the apartment. Things they have to improve ASAP: room 301 (where I stayed) has a bad smell of cigarette smoke. Avoid that room! When I went to talk at the front desk I was told that all the other apartments were occupied and they sent the room service ladies to "fix" the issue. After a while I found the door open to the wall (outside it was 3 degrees) and a pot of vinegar to neutralize the smell of cigarettes. If it is not clear to them what they suppose to do at that moment: to offer a discount for the terrible discomfort created or something around this idea. Also, in the bathroom, I found a long hair hanging on the edge of the bathtub (left by former tourists). Then, there are speakers on the halls with music (?!) until around 11 p.m. If I would have wanted music, I would have listen it in my room or I would have go to the club!

Located in the heart of Central Park, the oldest hotel in Sinaia may take you back in time. On the streets where once upon a time well-known writers and wealthy persons used to walk, hides an amazing old place built in 1880 - Hotel Regal 1880*** . Stylish and opulent like only a boutique hotel in a restored historical landmark can be. Completely restored in 2014.
This is an old hotel refurbished, close to the central park and to the city centre. It looks very nice, the rooms are large and the furniture is also retro. The walls are not very well isolated as you can hear noises from the other rooms. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are big but don't have ventilation. The heating is perfect, not too warm as you can sleep well. The restaurant can be very crowded sometimes so you have to wait:( The staff is very helpful, ready to solve the problems.

We created Villa Oblique as a place where you can dream endlessly. A place where time vanishes and makes space for the most intense and warm experiences. We invite you to travel around the World, and the door of each room will open for you the boarders of a new country, a new culture and a new state of mind. Each room is different - we have a place where the body relaxes and enjoys anticient massages and therapies, we have an amazing place where you can enjoy nature's best tastes, we have a place where you can listen to the woods and to the fire, but most of all, we have a place for every dream you (might) have.

Central zone, only 20 minutes walking from the Peles Castle and only 15 minutes walking from the train station.
I stayed twice at the Ana Maria Guesthouse in Sinaia, the last time on 12.10.2019 for one night. It is an excellent guesthouse, with a very welcoming and helpful staff. The rooms are very clean and quite spacious. The guesthouse is located very close to the center of Sinaia and you can easily access all the tourist attractions of the city, located at the foot of the Bucegi mountains. The guesthouse has its own parking. I recommend to all tourists who want to spend a few days in Sinaia to stay at the Ana Maria Guesthouse.
