Berry Springs Lodge is a relaxing Smoky Mountain bed and breakfast resort retreat designed for guests that are looking for a quiet romantic getaway in the Great Smoky Mountains.
Wife and I were looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay away from the frenetic atmosphere of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Blueberry Springs Lodge is an amazing isle of tranquility nestled in the Smokey Mountains and only a short drive from Dollywood. The hillside setting is serene and peaceful. The room we had had the rustic but modern charm of the country, but with thoroughly modern amenities. A freshly prepared breakfast was available every morning in the dining room and a fresh baked snack along with assorted beverages was available in the evening. Melissa and Nick made us feel welcome with their honest southern hospitality and charm. Truly, Blueberry Springs Lodge captures the idealized essence of the welcome of the people and a place in the Smokey Mountains.

I stayed here last week, I was very pleased with the service and the cleanliness of our room. The owners (locally owned for over 50 years) were very friendly! I would definitely stay here again! Location was good.

Wonderful old likely 50s 60s style hotel, quiet right on the creek side beautiful sound. I see other commentators putting down the old house behind it and the the old rooms and water pressure. First of all it’s a tourist destination it’s a great old place to lay your head down and relax. The old house behind it is likely a historical site it has to be every bit of a hundred and twenty years old, it has a creek rock foundation it’s actually pretty cool with old grape vines in the yard. Next the water pressure, if you want high water pressure up in a mountain is not the place to be. Overall it’s updated nicely as possible with the infrastructure and a great place. I think it was only like 250 bucks for three nights, a walk away from the strip and entertainment. I give it a 9/10

If I could give it a minus stars I would!!!!The smell was unreal. There was a screw holding up a hanging light in the room. There were ants all over the sink. The bathroom light was held up by wire. The refrigerator had beer and a partial bottle of crown royal in it. We tried to tell the manager and he was hateful rude mocked us as we was trying to explain. He told us to leave and to never come back. We said we wouldn't ever be back. And we wont!!! I hope people really read these reviews. Listen to them the messages are true...

I booked the Work and Travel Lodge in Gatlinburg for two nights at the end of 2021. There was a death in my family and I had to return home after the first night. I didn't expect a refund as I had prepaid, but I did call to let the owners know I wouldn't be staying the second night. Without my even asking, they kindly refunded the second night to my credit card. I was impressed with their humanity. They showed the real spirit of the Smoky Mountains.

This was our first time ever at a bed and breakfast and it was definitely a memorable experience. - Great location. Which was out in the country away from all the traffic of Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg, but close enough to use as a nice home base and visit all of the attractions there. - Comfy room, and grounds. I enjoyed the indoor pool to swim a few laps at night! And although we didn't spend a lot of time on the property during the day since we were out busy exploring, you could totally stay there all day and relax in the quiet living room, watch TV in the rec room, or sit under a gazebo reading. - Warm hospitality. Jerri and Steve really do care about their guests, and it shows. From small talk, to restaurant recommendations, to just being super helpful. As a big example, the night before we had planned to check out, our car had engine trouble. We had to have it towed the next day on a Sunday. Very few repair shops were open and no rental cars available. Jerri graciously extended our stay 1 more night (at emergency discounted rate!) and even let us borrow her personal car to take care of what we needed to and pick up our vehicle. That was above and beyond and something that you would never experience from a plain old hotel. Thanks again guys!

I cannot say enough good things about Huckleberry Inn! Check-in and check-out was a breeze, and we didn't hear a peep or see anyone our entire stay. The cabin is in a very private setting. There are three gorgeous floors of living space! The photos absolutely do not do this place justice. The cabin is off of a dirt road, so when you start to drive up you might think that you are going to the middle of nowhere, but that's the beauty of it! You feel that way when you're at the cabin but it is actually very close to everything. There are too many amenities to list. The place was sparkling clean and the decor is just perfect. My daughter's boyfriend proposed while we were there! I cannot think of a more beautiful setting for an engagement. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend the Huckleberry Inn.

If you are looking for a fancy new property, this isn't it. However if you are looking for a cozy place to cuddle up by a fireplace or soak in a jacuzzi tub close to the exciting downtown of Pigeon Forge, this is the spot. It's an older building but well taken care of considering. The bed was pretty comfortable and the communication was slow but efficient. I will definitely be back on our next visit. It was perfect for my boyfriend and I. We had a little bit of trouble with the locks but they will be replacing them soon. I believe it was the humidity swelling the locks. Oh and it was the best breakfast I have had in a long time!

Here, you will enjoy the beautiful mountain views, hike local trails and explore all the great things the area has to offer.
I don’t understand why this place has so many high reviews all over the place and then almost none here! We stayed for a few nights over thanksgiving and it was questionable to put it nicely. The lobby was nonexistent which is to say it was locked and NEVER open. We though the place was abandoned initially and were concerned about our safety staying there. There were zero cars in the parking lot when we arrived. Checking was only done by cell phone and you are texted a door code. Never saw anyone who worked there. We were assured there was a trolley that ran every half hour and stopped across the street from the hotel. Didn’t want to park downtown because it was $20 due to the holiday. We NEVER saw it. So we walked a ton! I have ankle problems and was in so much pain. The bed was a couple of twin mattresses and frames pushed together with an absurdly loud protective plastic cover over them. So anytime you shifted in the bed you heard it. The table and chair looked like they were from the dollar store. We were on the ground floor and apparently when you shower you are supposed to leave the bathroom window open….um. Yeah it is so great that people could walk by and see into your shower because the window is right at eye level! And it was really cold so it made bathing unpleasant. Add to that, shower head was super low so my son who was just over 6ft had to practically fold himself in half to wash his hair. The ac is a window unit that was set into the cinderblock wall that when turned on clogged both my son’s and my sinuses so badly that we could not breathe at all during the night. It looked run down and was unpleasant. Will not be staying there EVER again. For what I paid I could have stayed at a closer hotel to downtown that felt safer and had better service and rooms.
