Business stay at Esquire

It was surprisingly good experience as most of the hotels and guest houses were not even operational I found there services and hospitality upto the expectation. Staff is well trained and very literate about current situation and following SOPs as required. Environment was really peaceful. Regularly Disinfecting whole place and providing masks and sanitizer was very professional. 5/5 and recommended for stay.

Potohar Hotel

Conveniently located just minutes from the airport and 3 major bus stands, Potohar Hotel is a simple yet comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price. The hotel has 36 guest rooms, all of which are neatly decorated in a modern style and equipped with AC, LCD TV with 150+ channels, minibar, spacious cupboards and furniture.

Quite disappointing

Reviewed By kainaatshah

I chose this hotel after reading other people’s positive reviews. The first two days passed smoothly, the staff is polite enough. However after a few days we started having issues, the AC stopped working and we were given a less suitable room whilst they took two days to fix it which was very inconvenient. Then they had a blocked drain causing the whole floor our room was on to flood. No safety warning was issued and we weren’t alerted to move any electronics, we’re very fortunate the water didn’t reach our extension cable. I’m disappointed that no apologies were made or no compensation was offered, but maybe in Pakistan there aren’t any safety procedures put in place but they should think to put them in place for the future. Apart from that the customer service is good.

Intellectual Budget - Bahria Town

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

Reviewed By Experience535188

Absolutely not worth even at half the price. The Desk manager was polite. Otherwise the staff and the management have no clue how to run a hotel. Dirty linen. The floor was mopped with a dirty mop leaving a fine film of dried dust on the floor. The worst was the water pressure.. Having a shower was a tall order. I suggest the owners should take serious course in running a hotel. I would never recommend this place to anyone specially from abroad. The surroundings were good with decent fast food chains and super market close by.

Intellectual Inn - Bahria Town

Deceptive and Dishonest Hotel

Reviewed By TVTravelGuru

My father has traveled to over 100 countries and I have traveled to over 50 countries. We have extensive travel knowledge. This hotel has minimal Pros and a disappointingly high number of Cons. We would not recommend anyone to stay here. We will not stay here again; and, we wouldn't advise anyone else to stay here either. Pros: - Location is only 20 minutes away from the airport. The hotel is located inside the Bahria Town complex and is very close to restaurants and shops. We recommend Lahoree Chatkhara for affordable, delicious meals in a clean, hygienic, and air conditioned restaurant. The Careem taxi from the hotel to Lahore Chatkara is 5 minutes drive and 120 rupees. My father and I both had our dinner there, a 3-course meal with soda drinks each and the total charge was only 850 rupees. - In the condition of exhaustion from heat, delay of pickup, and traveling, I left my cell phone in the car which transported me from the airport to the hotel. I notified the reception desk and they called the driver and had my cell phone returned to me within 20 minutes. Con: Airport Transport - Overpriced (1,500 per person per pickup) - Comparably, our Careem Taxi ride from hotel to airport was 222 rupees and the Metro Taxis at the airport offered drop off to the hotel for 500 rupees. - No notification to guest that airport transport is not complimentary. I emailed and called the hotel to discuss airport pickup transportation and at no point in the email or in the phone call did the manager/owner (Ajlal) ever mention that the cost is 1,500 rupees per person per pickup. If a hotel is charging a guest for any service, the cost of the service should be disclosed and the guest should be asked whether they are still interested in purchasing the service. When we checked into the hotel and Ajlal charged us 3,000 for our airport pickups, I asked why isn’t it complimentary, you never told me it’s charged? His answer was: “You never asked me if there is a charge.” His attitude that it is the customer’s responsibility instead of the hotel’s responsibility to notify of additional charges is very unprofessional for the universal hospitality hotel industry. - Both airport pickups were 1 hour late in arrival, leaving both myself and my father on both of our individual, separate arrivals standing in 100 degrees Fahrenheit heat outside the airport after a long flight (mine was a domestic 2 hour flight; my father’s was an international 7 hour flight). The hotel owner/manager never apologized for this airport pickup disaster. The airport pickup driver never apologized either. Condition of room: - a/c did not work - room and bathroom filled with mosquitos - television did not operate - fridge was unplugged and I had to push it across the room towards a plug outlet to plug it in myself - walls have clear water damage - phone was broken - wifi did not work - moldy smell in closet; when we hung our suits and clothes in the closet, they became smelly Check out: - no one available in morning shift except one employee who said he keeps “guard” - notified staff the night before that we will have breakfast at 8:30am and we will depart hotel for airport at 9:30am. This discussion regarding the breakfast + checkout time was discussed 4 separate times with the hotel staff the day before with 4 separate confirmations/promises that everything will be on-time. - breakfast was not ready. The “guard” on shift went to the kitchen and made the breakfast himself when we notified him that we have to leave for the airport at 9:30am. We received breakfast at 9:00am - The breakfast provided was tang-powder orange juice, tea, toast, eggs. Due to the delay, we were forced to rush through breakfast, eating less than half of it. Though, it wasn’t a desirable breakfast anyways. - At 9:30am when we were departing, the “guard” on shift had no knowledge of returning our 2,000 rupees deposit to us. He had to take his cash from his personal wallet, and additionally borrow cash from the company office next door to give us 2,000 rupees since the hotel Manager never made arrangements for us to receive the deposit refund directly from the Hotel. - Hotel towels provided were 2 hand towels and 1 face towel. There was not any bath towel. The hand towel is not sufficient to wrap around any average adult human’s body.
