Malka Hostel is situated on the top of a hill where you can appreciate a beautiful view of Quebrada de Humahuaca, a local archaeological place. The hostel has five different cabins which are all clean and safe. There is hot water provided by solar energy because our hostel is an ecologic hostel. When you wish to cook for yourself our guests can use our well equipped kitchens and the barbeque as many times as they need!

Reviewed By EvaNakoWords are not enough to describe how magical Malka is. On the top of a hill overlooking Tilcara and the gorgeous mountains, a nest of rooms set in beautiful nature. The room I stayed was spacious yet homely. The cafe area is a lovely respite where you can make tea and fresh orange juice. And the yoga/ meditation studio is available for some time off. I had a massage there and it was gorgeous! The owners and workers are so lovely, welcoming and helpful! Bottom line: I’ve been travelling in Argentina for a month and this is the best place I’ve stayed in, so much so I didn’t want to leave! Cannot recommend it enough!

Reviewed By Thomas KThe last morning they didn’t serve the breakfast because they where partying and didn’t want to get up so early - unbelievable! We booked the room with breakfast and didn’t get one. Also we found to be the owner rather rude and unfriedly. Room infested with mosquitos (way more I’ve ever experienced in Brazil). Smelly and dark room - toilet was not clean. Would never stay there again. Furthermore they tried to overcharge us!

Reviewed By Madka_MoskaIt’s a very clean, nice managed by friendly people hosteria. We had the best breakfast in Argentina here - lots of fresh and tasty food :) patio is a nice place to rest. The only disturbing thing is the surrounding - I must admit it wasn’t welcoming at all.

Reviewed By marianacL3091FVFuimos con amigas a una habitación privada de 6 personas. El baño es muy básico, la ducha cae literalmente arriba del inodoro, por lo tanto se moja todo. La habitación está prolija. Nosotras nos íbamos a quedar 4 noches pero a la 2da nos fuimos porque nunca había agua caliente para bañarse y eso con el frío que hacía era inaceptable. Sabíamos que por el precio tan bajo que habíamos pagado iba a ser todo muy básico pero no tener agua caliente es un límite. No volvería.

Big room, cozy and nicely decorated
Reviewed By Carupia8The place doesn't have an attractive entrance door and doesn't say much from outside, so we were pleasantly surprised by the nice interior full of plants and natural light. We loved our room, ample and with a beautiful decoration. The mattress was super comfortable and the bathroom big, with warm water. The restaurant is where we had a typical Argentinian breakfast consisting of croissants, butter, toasts and jam. There are stairs to the first floor, which can be a bit of a problem in the period of adaptation to La Quiaca's high altitude. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Reviewed By rtlnThis is a great place. If you get a cabana on the upper floor, you can see the Hill of the Seven Colors from your balcony. We were here on Argentina's National Day, which meant the town was absolutely packed, but it's an easy 800 meter walk from the quiet of the hotel to the town square, where all the restaurants and souvenir shops live. The hotel is simple but everything worked.

Rodeados de montañas, y rodeados de la atencion de Julia, quien nos guiaba, nos asesoraba para realizar cada paseo, y quien atiende a sus huespedes de manera excelente Las comidas que prepara son riquísimas y los desayunos con esa vista son insuperables. No veo la hora de volver. Gracias Gracias Gracias Julia!
