The chalet is absolutely gorgeous - well appointed and meticulously clean. We had the most comfortable 2 night stay at the end of a week staying elsewhere in Morzine and we wished we had been at Chalet Manava for longer. The breakfasts were superb and our hosts Michel and Laetitia could not have been more helpful. We will definitely be back.

Located in Montriond, between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, Chalet sur les Monts is a family home recently renovated with local woods species and stones. It is situated at the heart of Les Plagnettes, a hamlet at the start of the park Les Dereches. Les Dereches stretches on more than 5km between winding trails and rivers. It is also the perfect place for a family.

We wanted to book somewhere special for a family celebration and Chalet Carnauba lived up to all expectations. Four lovely ensuite rooms, spacious living areas, excellent facilities and a good location. Samantha and Matt were fantastic and knowledgeable hosts and looked after us really well, also providing excellent food!

The Farmhouse is a stunning 18th Century chalet/hotel located in the heart of Morzine. As the oldest building in Morzine - every corner oozes charm and character and each of the 11 rooms have been lovingly restored and decorated in their own theme and unique style. The owner, Dorrien, has been here for over 25 years and is a local expert on the area, the skiing, the best restaurants - in fact everything!
Highly recommend - the Farmhouse is wonderful building in a great location and the personal service exceptional. This year we came in April which was lovely - skiing in the morning and walking and sunbathing in the afternoon! As with our previous visits the food was excellent. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a spacious corner room with a kitchenette and nice views out of windows on 2 sides. The bed was very comfortable indeed. The choice at breakfast was wide and the manageress was very helpful. It was served in a very Savoyard-style room. The hotel doesn’t serve evening meals, but the hotel just up-valley a couple of hundred metres does very nice meals.

Simply Morzine's privately-owned flagship Chalet des Montagnes is one of Morzine’s finest chalets. The chalet is perfectly located in Morzine; on the piste with stunning panoramic views yet an easy 10-minute walk from the resort centre. The chalet operates on a catered basis in both the summer and winter seasons.
Our second holiday with Simply Morzine and we're already looking forward to the next one! We stayed in the private apartment within Chalet Montagnes, which was really comfortable and had everything we needed. The chalet is a short walk into Morzine, but we used the shuttle bus every day as just easier with all the ski gear. The Simply Morzine team could not have been more friendly or helpful. We had a brilliant week and a really special holiday.

Outside there is a private garden, with the Pleney forest to one side and sweeping views of the valley on the other. There you can enjoy lounging in the hot alpine sun with a drink from the bar, or making use of our swimming pool and hot-tub. Whether it's skiing in the winter or mountain biking and activity holidays in summer - you are always assured of a warm and friendly welcome at the Starlight.
Stayed with a small group of friends recently for weekend of skiing. The hotel is cosy with ample space in the rooms. The shower was excellent, and it was a nice touch to have robes and slippers. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but another hot item such as eggs would have been good. The afternoon tea was most welcome when we returned from the slopes, and it was nice to relax in the sunny tv room. Pool and hot tub sadly closed in winter. It was a short 10min walk into town but buses didn’t seem that frequent so we made use of a locker at the lift to save the walk with gear! We were able to get into our room early which was really helpful after an early flight.

Our second visit to this chalet - both have been group holidays with other families. Our children love it here, they love the freedom. Location is great, Simon and Susie are fab, welcoming and easy going. Their staff are super friendly. The food is good, communal areas are fab . Ski hire on site....we'll be back I'm sure!

Positives: the location of the chalet was very good. The two waiters could not do enough for us and were very warm and kind. The parking space was very much appreciated. Negatives: the hosts Lynn and Bob were not fit for purpose. We will never return to the chalet for as long as they manage it. They were money pinching on absolutely everything! Our room was never hoovered and the towels were not changed throughout our stay. We were not told until our second night that we were only allowed one canopé per person. On the second night we were told off for having more than one the night before and were warned not to do this again by Lynn. The food was below standard for the first 4 nights that we were there. It began to improve once more guests arrived. At breakfast there was one baguette for 9 people. A few croissants and pains au chocolat which were not enough for all of us. Many times they were either burnt or undercooked. We had to have breakfast outside of the chalet on many mornings. There was a bowl of rotten fruits from the day we arrived until mid week when new guests arrived. On one evening broccoli soup was served to all new guests but there was not enough left for our table. As a result we were served with a bowl of milk with a hint of broccoli. I had to call Lynn to ask her why we were treated as second class guests. She did not apologise and refused to serve us an alternative. The chef came to apologise however I was too angry to accept his apology. On reflection it was not his fault as he is not provided with enough ingredients to serve us all. The wine served for the evening meal tasted like vinegar, clearly very cheap wine. We bought our own wine from the local shops to have with our meals. Our room was located next to the kitchen. We were woken up by loud voices, pots and pans and blasting radio every morning at 6am. We asked that the noise be kept to a minimum but we were ignored. Interestingly when new guests arrived mid week all the noise stopped. We again felt like second class guests. When we checked in there were people outside on the steps of the entrance of the chalet with their luggage open and they looked like they were getting changed. They were told to move away to clear the path for us to check in. At dinner time we were shocked to see the same people sitting at their table. They told us that they arrived on the same day as us but they were not allowed to check in yet we were. They were clearly upset about this. On their last day they asked to leave their luggage at the chalet until their departure time. This request was refused openly in front of all other guests and were told to find somewhere else to leave their luggage. The lady guest was sat at the breakfast table crying and upset. The situation was uncomfortable for everyone. Later after breakfast we were in our room when we heard a full blown argument between the same guests, Lynn and Bob. Voices were raised and the argument lasted for a long time for everyone to see and hear. This was upsetting for us. In relation to the pre dinner drinks, we went down to the room 4 minutes before 7. The staff were not allowed to serve any drinks before 7. The two waiters felt very uncomfortable and kept apologising to us. At the end of our stay they told us how embarrassed they feel when they have to serve us poor food, especially when they served us milk with a hint of broccoli. They told us that they cannot wait for the season to end and that they will never work for Lynn and Bob ever again. All in all, our stay was mediocre and we couldn’t wait to see the back of Lynn and Bob. Awful people with no skill for the hospitality business. Never again will we be hosted by them.

Off the main road, quieter slightly outdated design but functional and clean. Very friendly owners. Breakfast is with fresh produce that the owners make themselves like the bread, jams, yogurt etc. Simple but Delicious. The attic has a small kitchen for general use. Balconies have view of mountains and sound of the stream in front. Definitely recommended.
