Hi A great welcome when we arrived for our short stop over recently (29/30 May). Our designated self contained room was so very comfortable and we loved the glass fronted porch. The common over the road was ideal for dog walking and being self contained we did not (hopefully) disturb any other guests when taking the dogs for a walk. As for the breakfast, what can I say other than superb! We wish we could have stayed longer, another time then, we look forward to returning.

We're a family of four with 2 boys, we had a wonderful 1 night stay the room was perfect for our needs and the food at the restaurant was incredible. Steak and Ale pie is a must have. All the staff are super friendly and the service is great. The place itself is an old 17th century building so has lots of charm and character. Play area outside aswell for the kids who made friends instantly. We would definitely stay here again.

To be honest, upon arrival at the Pub and looking at the external facade, my wife and I looked at each other and both silently thought omg we've made a mistake! How wrong we were! From walking in through the front door to departing 3 days later we were made to feel part of a local family. The accommodation was more than adequate with the bonus of full Sky TV and super fast broadband. The breakfast was extremely good and the service was second to none. The pub has a music genre which encorporates all tastes, and the 2 bands we experienced were extremely good. Also when we retired early to our room, there was no hint of sound from 5 MTRS away. Clearly well insulated. The lady who runs front of house during the day is a Consummate Professional and the Landlord was professional and dealt with the only issue we had immediately and with no qualms about the time. All in all a great experience, and one which will be repeated soon hopefully.

Booked this through buya gift experience for a over night hottub garden room with a two course evening meal, breakfast and spa access the next morning with a beach hut experience. This place is lovely, staff were very friendly and helpful, I'd arranged for a banner to be sent there prior to our arrival of which the staff kindly pinned it to the fence in our garden area. Lovely place to relax for the night. Room was perfect for a couple, beautifully presented with a large bathroom. Lovely little garden area with lovely views. The evening meal was fab, could not fault any of it. We both thoroughly enjoyed what we had, breakfast was help yourself which suited us just fine, I'd rather pick what I want and how much. The spa was lovely nice and relaxing. I'd also booked my partner a bck massage which he said was good. All staff in the spa and the pub reception staff were all polite friendly and helpful. I would definitly stay here again. Its location its brilliant for exploring the roaches too

Cannot fault this place on every occasion and tonight was Italian night. Having been to Italy many times I can honestly say this was tasty, well presented food and as always a great safe crowd of people and friends. Bradwell’s finest and long may it last. Thanks to all the team for another great night.

We stayed for two nights with our Greyhound. We stayed in the dog friendly Curbar Room with a great private outdoor space through our own entrance/exit. We was offered drinks and cake on arrival and could help ourselves during our stay. The breakfast was delicious, the room was spotless and cosy with plenty of space. Location is perfect for exploring, we visited Buxton, Bakewell and Chatsworth. The pub next door serves good food and is also dog friendly in the bar area. We look forward to returning in the future.
