We had an exciting stay at Nirvana Inn during our recent tour to Paro, Bhutan. The hotel is conveniently located right at the center of Paro city. The famous Rinpung Dzong is at waking distance from the hotel. The room provided to us was very neat, clean and spacious with all modern facilities. The view of mountains, valleys and Paro streets from our room was amazing. The staffs of the hotel were very soft, polite and helpful. Overall, we had a memorable stay at Nirvana Inn, Paro. Highly recommended!!!

We are situated among the Bhutanese local communities together with the farmhouse and villages. Walking distance to the oldest Kichu Monastery. 10 mins from the airport, 45mins walking distance to Paro town. 20mins by transport to the base of Tiger Nest. Metta resorts serves great choices of cuisines. Our greatest compliments from our guests are Indian and Chinese cuisines. Our local Bhutanese foods equally rated the best in our buffet line. We select premium meats and organic vegetables for our food choices. After a day hike to Tiger Nest you will enjoy our Spa right in the hotel or even body massage in your room.
I spent my last night in Bhutan at this hotel. This was the best hotel of the three I had during my trip. The room was in line with the other two but the welcome and the evening buffet was much better than the other two.

This relative new hotel is nicely located. Rooms are ok but beds are far to hard!! Staff is attentive and friendly but barking dogs at night keep you awake!! Wifi is ok, sometimes out. Vegetarilan reataurant of hotel is very good. All by all, mixed feelings.

Perched on the mountain slopes above the airport and opposite the important Paro Dzong and historical Taa Dzong, the National museum, this location therefore offers all our guests a magnificent view of the Paro valley from the comfort of their bedroom or private verandah… as they say, seeing is believing. Experience traditional Bhutanese hospitality along with modern amenities. Tashi Delek!
3.5 stars. Staff is indeed very friendly. Room is very large and comfortable enough. But do note that rooms do not have internationally- compatible electrical outlets, and hotel does not provide adaptors. Food is alright, but beer is warm. Wifi is rather weak, and as always, Chinese tourists are noisy. Location is conveniently 10 minutes from airport. Overall not a bad choice for a last night in Bhutan. Just bring an adaptor and ear plugs which hopefully you won't need.

A small family run lodge with 15 rooms operational. The lodge is built within a 3 acres apple orchard and peach trees. It is only 20 minutes drive from the International Airport and we can provide transportation to and from the airport on request. Our restaurant serves Indian and Bhutanese dish, the vegetables and spices, which are organically grown in our garden.
Amazing location, neat and clean hotel, lovely and caring hotel staff. They really take care of us in all aspects. Food is very tasty. Thank You team for the lovely hospitality. See you soon in our next trip to Paro.

Located on a forested hill overlooking the valley of Paro, Bhutan, Mandala Resort provides a panoramic view of the ancient fortresses of Rinpung and Ta dzong (National Museum), the charming town of Tshongdue, and the lush rice fields surrounding it. Located a convenient 10 minute drive from the international airport.
Solid 3-star hotel. I did not like the food, breakfast or supper, unfortunately. The staff members were kind, but did not seem as well trained in hospitality as most other hotels. I needed assistance late at night, but the one person in the lobby did not prove very helpful. The room was very nice, though, and clean. Bhutan is very cold at night in the winter and, even with a heater, your room will be cool at night. The shower temperature was difficult to regulate-too hot or too cold-but that seemed to be a thing in Bhutan. The view is stunning day and night.

I stayed at the resort for a night, the rooms were cosy, bath was decent and food was average. The only thing that got me excited was a 70/100 ltr geyser in the room, that ensured that you got hot water when you needed it. The wifi was average. Breakfast was very average, with bread, cereals, eggs and poha on offer. However as we had gone in the off season, the hotel was empty and the staff was clueless about anything. (Our driver told us that they were temporary staff, trained during the off season) Over all an average stay in Paro.

This accomodation is outside the town of Paro but as I was visiting with a guide and a driver this was not a problem. The room was not bad and it was perfectly adequate for my stay. One thing that could be improved is the evening buffet and the breakfast.

We had stayed at a number of 3 star hotels in Bhutan (in February) and had been disappointed with the quality, particularly the lack of heating and bathroom facilities. The Mandala Resort however was better and in particular it had a proper full-size bath with plenty of hot water. Whilst the rooms could have done with being a bit warmer, they were better than many establishments and were spacious and well fitted out. Being high up on the hillside, there were good views up, down and across Paro valley. Be aware though, as it is reasonably high up, you do need transport to get there. Although we didn't try it there, the hotel does offer hot stone baths and, I believe, massages too.

I had booked this through makemytrip months back and paid in full as well. I called the property a day back while in Bhutan to explore an early check in. To my shock, I was told by the lady ( the reservation lady) that she has rejected all online confirmations. I was told that she will get back after speaking with MMT. I called frantically but never even got a call back. Zero customer experience. Zero conscience. A dont care callous attitude. Probably must have received a bulk booking that is more lucrative and would have cancelled a few un-important ones like mine. Less said the better !! Pathetic experience !
