The room itself was big (deluxe) and clean, but somehow there were some mosquito went into my room in the night I don't know how they could get in. The bfast was so-so, don't have many varieties just nasi putih, tempe, fried noodle and fish. They run out of bread when I asked some. But this place is a good place to crash in when you visit Merauke.

Reviewed By Syueb ALocated in the center business of Merauke. Front desk staff nice and helpful. Lobby area quiet clean with a simple and plain decoration. Room little bit filthy and moist. Room amenities and facilities very limited. A very simple breakfast. Internet facilities down all the time

Better than expected
Reviewed By indonesia80571I visited Serui recently for work with several colleagues, and we found the Hotel Merpati to be perfectly adequate. It was clean, the bed was firm, the aircon worked well, there was good, hot water, and the staff were very friendly. One colleague dropped the little silver backing to her earring down the sink -- they dismantled the drain, retrieved it, and returned it to her after POLISHING it! Above and beyond, in my book. They even had wifi. On the down side, the breakfast included with the room consisted of white bread and jam, and while the karaoke can be bothersome, at least it ended around 9pm. Both points pretty standard in provincial towns. What do you want for $28? I'd stay there again.

Reviewed By Yrref WMendapat tugas mengajar di Kota Jayapura saat kegiatan pemerintah daerah sedang sibuk sehingga kami adakan di Hotel Andalucia ini. Hotel ini bukan terletak di kawasan yang dekat kota dan termasuk agak rawan karena merupakan kawasan peralihan antara orang-orang dari Sulawesi di pesisir dan orang asli Papua di bagian dalam. Lobby tidak terlalu besar, tetapi dilengkapi dengan AC. Kamar-kamar termasuk sederhana, terdiri dari dua lantai. Suasana seperti tempat kos besar, dengan restoran di balkon yang menjadi favorite kami. Kamar hotel lumayan besar, kamar mandi dalam yang luas dengan air panas dan dingin serta bersih. Hanya saja kamar tidur tidak terlalu redam bising, sehingga suara-suara dari kegiatan masyarakat di luar tetap terdengar, termasuk suara nyanyian dari gereja saat kebaktian serta suara orang-orang berlalu lalang di jalan dan gang samping hotel. Tempat tidur memadai, bersih, dan nyaman. Penduduk sekitar banyak yang menjual ikan saat menjelang sore, kita dapat membelinya dengan harga lumayan murah, kemudian minta bantuan tukang masak di Hotel Andalucia untuk memasakkan ikan kita sesuai selera, dengan memberikan uang bumbu kepada mereka. Makan malam yang lezat dan mewah dengan harga lumayan murah tersedia! Jangan lupa pilih makan malam di balkon lantai 2.
