Ideally situated and perfect for families, we capture the spirit of Laguna and make it all affordable, convenient, and fun. •A short walk to Treasure Island Beach.•Summertime trolley service from our front door to Laguna's village.•Free High-speed Wifi.•Bright, cheerful, and fresh Laguna Beach hotel rooms.
I can't see how anyone could rate this place less than 5 stars! As you can see in the more recent photos (don't look at photos from a few years ago), the rooms have been remodeled and are absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful finishes, furniture, décor, etc. Something you'd expect from a very high end hotel! They provide beach chairs and umbrellas in your room which you can take to the beach. Parking is easy and right out front (and free). The pool looked very nice (we did not go in). It's right across the street from the Montage and right next to a shopping center with a CVS and a grocery store for any last minute needs. A beautiful find that I can't wait to visit again.

Staying at the Always Inn was such a wonderful experience for our anniversary. Freda was such a fun and caring innkeeper, that we feel that we've made a friend for life. Not only did she give great recommendations for where to eat, but she also made sure that we were taken care of at whichever restaurant we chose, which gave us wonderful culinary experiences. The room we stayed in was cute and even had a jacuzzi tub. The cherry on top of the great time was being allowed to bring our kitties. It can be difficult to find pet friendly places to stay, so we very much appreciated being able to bring the kids. I recommend Always Inn 1000%!

A stay at Kona Inn Motel Anaheim places you in the heart of Anaheim, convenient to Dad Miller Golf Course and Knott's Berry Farm. Conveniences include desks, housekeeping is provided daily, and microwaves can be requested.
Not the best and we left two nights early, despite pre paying. Carpet smelt, beds were average. Rooms are small and the pool is not worth visiting. 70s motel that needs updating. Service average, not really any customer care.

Doryman's Inn looks forward to welcoming you on your visit to Newport Beach.
The Dorymans's has a lot to offer but is missing in some key areas. On the positive side, the location is excellent, the building is charming (old, with lots of old features such as the fireplace in our room 2 were lovely), and the staff were super friendly. Additionally, being connected to 21 Oceanfront restaurant and being able to order food from there for room service was an added bonus. On the negative side, the building needs maintainance and the service needs work. Rooms whilst tidy need maintainance. Bathrooms need regrouting and a deep clean, in the rooms some power sockets were broken, and lamps weren't working. Also no breakfast to speak of - a few boxes of tired looking cereal and some plastic wrapped bagels with packets of cream cheese were not inspiring at all (thankfully there are lots of great breakfast places on the seafront). Additionally whilst you can order room service from 21 Oceanfront, you can't charge it to your room, and the staff don't even have a service trolley to bring the food to your room (so items are brought individually by hand, and the poor staff member has to take multiple trips, and then there's nowhere to eat in the room - we ended up clearing a side board and perching on the window ledge as a makeshift dining table). Lastly, not something that can be changed but as a caveat to those booking, the seafront, especially the early numbered rooms, can get very noisy in a Friday night and Sat/Sun mornings (fish Market outside opens at 4pm). Didn't bother us, but not one for light sleepers. Overall, whilst it was an interesting stay not one I'd repeat. Grossly overpriced at over $1000 for two nights (inc. Tax) even considering the location, and frankly for the price and the lack of breakfast service, we would have been better booking a holiday rental and just eating out (as we had to do this anyway). I'm aware that covid can't have been easy for small businesses in the hospitality sector, and this could be a fabulous and luxury boutique b&b, but instead just feels a little like the owners are coasting on the location and heritage of the building to justify the high prices without putting in the work required into maintainance and service offer. A real shame.

Warm up to our expanded hot breakfast menu. Omelets, bacon and mini waffles have joined our long list of morning favorites including fresh fruit, Chobani® Greek yogurt and sweet breads. It's just what you need for a delicious start to your day.
My wife growing up in Los Alamitos, this has always been our home away from home when we come back to OC and visit. Unfortunately, for a hotel having a check in at 3pm; calling and messaging on the app on our way in to verify checkin going unanswered, to find that our ADA room (my wife has a bad knee, uses a walker, and can't get into a bathtub), to be informed that at 3:15 when we checked in that our room would not be ready for over 30 minutes. When the front desk agent talked with housekeeping (in front of me at the desk), asking if the room was ready was told NO! When she asked her if she could get it ready she raised her voice again NO! and walked away. Now, my wife isn't completely handicapped, but to have specifically requested an ADA room and to be told in front of you that housekeeping will not clean the room was pretty unprofessional and disappointing. The agent assured us that the king rooms had walk in showers with a small lip. Fortunately, I never count on our ADA room being a guarantee and bring my wife's stool, because if I hadn't, we would have had a problem. Now the rest of the stay was comfortable, anyone we interacted with was friendly and accommodating, and housekeeping on our floor was always willing to provide any necessary things. I understand this is Orange County, and end of May, but to have weather in the low 70s and to have a freezing pool (asked two different people at the front desk to one of them tell me "oh I have never used the pool, I wouldn't know if it's heated or not" when the pool is advertised as heated was a disappointment. I needed a pool to do my therapy and it was too freezing even for OC standards. Will we come again? Probably (with points).

Near Knott’s Berry Farm, Disneyland, Soak City Waterpark, Anaheim Convention Center, Biola University, Angel Stadium, Seal Beach Military Base, Santa Ana Zoo and the Aquarium of the Pacific.
Not worth the money that I paid for. If they’re going to charge so much for a room the least they can do is buy some cleaning supplies to clean up this place. Staff is very friendly, but the rooms and restrooms are disgusting and smell weird. There’s stains on the walls restroom curtains are really dirty furniture is super old. NOT what it looks like on pictures, and we were supposed to get a “Deluxe” room. The bed sheets had holes. I’m glad I brought my own blankets from home. The walls throughout the room were disgustingly dirty. The fridge and microwave are inside the bathroom also had an odd smell to it. Do not recommend this place at all. If you’re looking for something around $140 look for another place. I’m sorry but this place was a regret 100% specially if you’re bringing your kids with you.

These rooms are all on the ground floor level and the room is quite small and very basic. Could do with a lick of paint or a little upgrading. But tv, microwave and fridge all included and the sink area is very nice.
