Reviewed By evakV8131PJAlready on the first day I fell in love with this quiet oasis that allow to hear the singing of the birds, the nearby muezines and pelting of the rain. The rooms and the whole hostel is decorated with an eye for details. Neema, Millie, Nicola and all the students are super attentive, extraordinarily helpful and understanding. They made me feel very welcome and, most important for me, safe and well-prepared for all situations I encountered during my first stay in Moshi. All services - from breakfast (the pancakes are delicious!) to laundry - have high quality. Not least, the view from the terrace on Kilimanjaro really makes this a magical place. I very much hope that More than a Drop continues to exist so that I can stay there again when I return to Moshi.

A place where every detail has been thought of and chosen with so much taste and love....love, because in life, everything beautiful is born out of love!! It is a little piece of paradise - birds are singing, the garden is lush, well cared for and full of flowers, the view of Mt. Kilimanjaro is always awe inspiring, the pool is clean and welcoming and the colourful cushions everywhere give a sense of comfort and relaxation. The hotel's decor and furnishings are fabulous.....high ceilings, amazing coloured glass windows, beautiful wooden doors, large, lovely photos from Tanzania on the walls, large bedroom with huge comfortable bed , large bathroom. All is perfect!! The home made food is also delicious. Has to be ordered earlier in the day. I cannot think of a more welcoming place than this for travellers arriving at the Moshi airport, either to climb Kilimanjaro or go on safari. It's the perfect hotel to start one's trip and to end it, before flying off again. And, we are so happy to know that when we next visit Moshi, we have this lovely hotel to look forward to.

We are situated in peaceful Moshi town, Kilimanjaro Region. 1hour drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport, East Point Hotel is located in the suburb area with nearby numerous shopping malls, restaurants, private hospitals, tourist attractions and historic sites. The property consists of executive, twin, triple, double and single rooms. All our 25 rooms are en-suite with shower and some with balcony facing the surroundings. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, flat screen TV, cable channels and free Wi-Fi.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay due easy access of facilities with an elevetor and a very beautiful view of the Mount Kilimanjaro from the hotel rooftop. I definately recommend a place.

Reviewed By Blomy73We already paid in cash but the hotel charged us again on our card. I reported it to the service provider and they immediately called the hotel. The hotel manager promised to check and get back. He never did what he promised. The service provider's agents tried to contact the hotel again several times both via phone and email. The hotel ignored answering phone calls or replying to email. After 3 weeks of waiting, I wrote to the hotel manager. He admitted in his email that the hotel really double charged us but it was due to a miscommunication. He said he could not refund directly due to no access to the card detail. He would however contact his bank immediately for help. After a week of waiting, I contacted him again. This time he said the bank would refund on the next work day. After 10 more days of waiting, still no refund. This time I gave him the bank card detail in case his bank has problem with a bank transfer. Since then, he has stopped replying and we still have not received a refund from the hotel. Everything was ok during our stay so we thought the hotel manager and his staffs were decent people. We even gave them tips. Mistake can happen so it is understandable but what upset us most is the hotel manager’s illegal act. He confessed the double charge but openly refuses to refund as if it was legal to just steal money from his clients. This is an act of a thief and liar. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!
