GardenSong is a "must visit" destination in historic Natchez, MS. It was built in 1836 and features beautiful suites, all with private baths - just blocks from downtown and the mighty Mississippi River! Guests will enjoy full access to this historic property, including our lovely historic gardens.
We stayed in the Clark gable room since they had three beds. It was ok, but needed some work.. the house is beautiful, but this room had some problems…No tv channels with news on…we watched old reruns of shark tank. The bathroom windows are almost impossible to open, so no ventilation..twin beds have mattresses than slide off the base…air con not efficient in front bedroom…..in room coffee maker only makes one cup…I think these are simple fixes.. We loved Ruth, our breakfast server.she is a delight! A real GEM! Good breakfast! Location fantastic, but quiet and lovely…outdoor porch only had two chairs, and we were three people, so we couldn’t use it…maybe an outdoor dining set in the garden would have been nice? Front door took three attempts. No room cleaning. We looked at all the rooms which looked more updated than the Clark gable room, so I would recommend those. But a nice stay never the less..

We stayed for 3 nights in Anchuca and we’re in Room one of the servants wing. Our room wasn’t huge but was very comfortable and had everything that you needed. It was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was huge and varied( although we do struggle with grits). The staff were friendly and helpful and the tour and video of the house were an added extra. The location is great within walking distance of the river and places to eat. We ate one night at Anchuca and that too was excellent. Highly recommended.

In the heart of historic Vicksburg. Walking distance to restaurants, museums, antique shops, book stores and coffee shop. All rooms in the main mansion. Full breakfast with each stay, social hour, gardens with gazebo and pergola, 4 porches and historic 2-story 4-hole outhouse - not to be missed! Off street parking. Weddings venue, catering available.
This is a lovely B&B built in 1870. We slept in the Scarlett Room which was perfect for us. Since this was the last stop of a 3-week road trip, we had several items to store in the room (like a plug-in cooler); and there was plenty of room for everything! Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Unfortunately, I could never eat everything on my plate. There's a small refrigerator and ice maker in the dining room for guests to use. This was really handy for keeping some ice packs and drinks cold. In other reviews, I read some complaints about the set time for breakfast (8:30 AM). I didn't find this to be an issue since most people want to get out early to explore the area. We met some interesting folks and held lively conversations while eating. If we ever return to Vicksburg, I'll do my best to reserve a room here!

I gained much appreciation and respect for the owner Ron, his love and commitment to keeping our architectural history not only alive but practically usable is the reason I’ll be back again to see more of this beautiful town and his collection of Bed and Breakfast’s. I can’t wait to come back, he goes to great lengths to make sure his guests have the best experience. His grace in dealing with our large family is refreshing and I hope others take their children to experience this beautiful place and people while learning all they can from our past.

Stayed one night in the Little Annie room downstairs. It was a good size for myself, a solo traveler. Room was furnished well but perhaps in need of some light updates. This home was built in the 1800’s so it doesn’t have the nicest, newest stuff but it was comfy and the breakfast was nice. Had chicken and waffles, fruit cup, biscuit and coconut cake with orange juice. Afterwards, I stayed for a tour of a few rooms in the home (about 45-50 min) which gave some interesting stories about the home and original occupants. The area is safe and I had a nice walk around the block which is part of a walking tour. If you enjoy historic homes instead of the same ol’ hotel chains, your stay here will be nice. The porch is a wonderful place to sit a spell.

On site restaurant & bar with free continental breakfast are a few of the amenities. The service was excellent and the food was very good. There was not a wide selection of items on the menu but everyone in our party of 7 was very well satisfied. Our host, Beau, is a keeper. She is the kind of person to make everyone feel special from the moment they enter the building.

Visiting the Mississippi River was a childhood dream of mine. So picking the perfect place to complete that desire was important. The Burn Bed and Breakfast was that very place! I have never stayed at a place whose real life was prettier and even better than the online photographs. But what made this place the most special? The luxurious bedding? The amazing short walk to restaurants and unbelievable views? The refreshing pool at the end of our day? The incredible breakfast including coffee that tasted better than Starbucks? All of that but it was the sweetest ladies who made our stay the perfect dream come true. Nell. Juanita. Joann. And the groundskeeper, Alfred. They are the most hospitable people who have the smiles that make a morning sunny. I love this place. My heart skips at the thought of leaving a rainy dreary Seattle to embrace Mississippi Natchez. Thank you.

The Corners Mansion Inn is a Bed and Breakfast located in the historic garden district of Vicksburg and is a perfect retreat for friends and family to gather, relax and get re-acquainted. With 16 guest rooms and suites available we can accommodate groups of up to 40 for over night stays and have the facilities for weddings with up to 175 guests. Beautiful gardens and views of the Mississippi and Yazoo River add to the ambiance of the entire get away!
We stayed in a king room at the back of the property and not in the main house. If staying, ask about stairs; the ones for the back guest rooms are very steep. The surrounding neighborhood was a little discomforting so I do not recommend taking a walk or going for an early morning run. Also, there is no shower; just a bath tub. Bed was very comfy and toom was moderately clean. Breakfast was amazing and tge inn keeper Macy did a wonderful job. TV and wi-fi were fine. I'm giving it a 3 out of five because the room was average and the toilet quit working the morning we left, but the food was fantastic and the staff was great.

What a smashing place to stop and chill. Beautiful rooms in a quaint B&B right next to the mighty Mississippi. Hosted by wonderful Marybeth, we had a great stay and we’re treated to fabulous home cooked breakfast. Would definitely recommend

Steele Cottage is one of the oldest properties in Vickburg built in 1829 just as the newly formed town was forming. The Cottage is the sister property of The Duff Green Mansion with two rooms plus a living room available for nightly rentals. For stays of 4 days or longer, the whole home is available including the downstairs bedroom, 1 1/2 additional bathrooms, den, dining room, & eat-in kitchen.
MaeMae’s room in the Steele Cottage was a roomy, cheaper alternative to a generic hotel. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the living room right outside the room was convenient to making and enjoying coffee without waking up the significant other. The only negative was perhaps they need to use a clear shower curtain. It would allow more light into a dark area. The breakfast the next morning was great with other interesting guests at the Duff Green House and a great historic tour. We would definitely stay here again.
