The largest of Italy’s fresh-water lakes, Lake Garda is located in northeast Italy. Tourists traveling here will find plenty of excursions and activities to keep them entertained year-round—everything from visiting hilly wine regions to exploring 14th-century castles. The towns and communities surrounding Lake Garda offer easy day trips from Venice, easily accessible by car or train. Major sights include the towns of Sirmione (which attracts most Lake Garda visitors thanks to its historic Rocca Scaligiera castle) and Riva del Garda (for the Varone waterfalls located nearby), as well as the region’s hills, which offer numerous hiking trails for adventurous walkers.

We stayed in a corner suite in May 2022 and could not have been happier! The rooms were huge, the appointments first cabin. The balcony overlooks Lake Garda and the thermal pools magnificent! They are the real reason we stayed here, but everything was simply good. The hostess spoke great English and was super helpful as was the entire staff. We did the thermal pools 5 times in two days! Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It's a winner!

What an amazing little gem of a hotel this is! We stayed here as part of a wedding party of 19 and Erika was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! Nothing was too much trouble. Everywhere was immaculately clean and tidy, breakfast was wonderful with so much choice! The beautiful little garden was a lovely escape from the heat of the sun and all within a couple minutes walk from the town. Would highly recommend staying here! Thank you Erika and family from Chris & Kelly. Xx

The Hotel Garni Garda Life is located in Riva del Garda, a charming town north of Lake Garda, in via Gorizia 5. In order to surprise the guest, we offer services and hospitality beyond expectations. The position is optimal because it is located in the lake belt, back respect the main road, and the Mediterranean climate ensure that peace, welcome and relaxing atmosphere necessary to unplug the daily routine, relax and regenerate in fresh and clean air. A hotel born for romantic couples or for lovers of nature and active holidays, its position ensures a good, quiet starting point. The mountain, the lake and the cycle paths are in reach. Your stay will be a pleasant and unforgettable experience.
We have searched this hotel from different websites and all shared positive comments. So we gave it a try. The hotel is new, and the room is nicely set , adequate and comfy. It’s about 15 walks from the hotel to the center. However, when we flipped over the duvets, there were some hairs (not only one or two) found from the cover sheets. Staff apologized for that and finally we changed twice. The hotel may outsource the cleaning to its supplier, something the hotel is suggested to improve especially under the COVID situation. Nonetheless, staff are friendly, the buffet breakfast is rich and the hotel price is reasonable.

For a business or a pleasure trip "7 Vizi" is the ideal place to discover the beauties of Lake Garda. Placed in Cola di Lazise, in the gardesan land, far from the frantic city, our B&B is the right choice for a relaxing and entertaining holiday. We enjoy a highly respected position to reach Gardaland, Canevaworld, Zoo Safari and the thermal park of Cola quickly, the last one is so close that you can reach it also by foot. Furthermore, we offer the guests discounted tickets for all the amusement parks in the Lake Garda zone, and we also organize trips on the lake, to Verona or Venice. Our great identifying feature is that you can have lunch and dinner with a discounted price by our own restaurant right next to the hotel. "7 Vizi" is a brand new hotel and offers unique, charming and elegant rooms, with an exclusive service, such as free wi-fi that makes the B&B experience easier.
We spent one night here and it was great! It can be a little hard to find as the parking is in a public parking lot and the entrance is through Pizza Planet. The rooms however are very big and the bathroom is nice but the shower water went all around our bathroom. There is also no HDMI cable port that you can access from the tv. Breakfast was OK.

A family-run hotel composed of a main building (with lift) and two adjoining annexes, Villa Rossana and Villa Sofia (without lift) and all the buildings are in the same area. The Hotel has a typical cooking restaurant, Bar, Swimming pool, Children's playground, Tennis table, Sport area and a free parking. Hotel Bel Sito is situated close to the historical center of Peschiera del Garda and near lots of services; it's 400 mt far from The railway station, 400 mt from the lake and 1,5 km from Gardaland.
A wonderful hotel complete with swimming pool in the heart of Peschiera del Garda - it’s family run and they are all most friendly and helpful - they serve a very good breakfast - the hotel itself is spotlessly clean. Will I return ? It’s only a question of when - thank you for your lovely hospitality .

Family hotel in a quiet position near the lake, 800 m from the city center. Spacious, decorated rooms with lake view and balcony. Lavish breakfast buffet served in the dining room or on the panoramic terrace. Close parking lot. Beaches at 50 m. Pets allowed. Credit cards accepted. Open April-October.
Stayed here for 6 nights with my wife in Sept. Friendly staff who gave great recommendations for local restaurants (a must visit is Al Veccio Fontec) and a lovely varied breakfast. Our room was a good size, with a nice side balcony which had views of the lake, Monte Baldo and Limone. The walk is a very pleasant 10 minutes into the town and the central ferry terminal. I would recommend the ferry to Malcesine (where we saw the castle and did Paragliding from Monte Baldo!). Lots of lovely restaurants in Limone and an evening run north up the coastal boardwalk was fun. You can also drive to Riva/Torbole in 20-25 mins. Only giving 4 stars as there was no hot water when we arrived, and no Wi-Fi for the last 48 hours.

The hotel is situated in the historical centre of Garda directly on the lake front. Integrated in an ancient building, recently renovated on the picturesque square of the port. You will be welcomed by the Dorella family in a friendly atmosphere and by its excellent, traditional cooking. On the pension menu you have the possibility of choice of three first course dishes, two second course dishes and three desserts. During the summer season you can also dine outside on the terrace. The hotel also offers the possibility of using the covered, 24 hour supervised garage for your car, which is included in the price of your stay. It is situated 500 metres from the hotel and there is a shuttle bus service to and from the centre.
A very comfortable family hotel clean and well kept, meals a little repetitive - staff very helpful. The only complaint was that we were not provided with even a hot drink on the day of departure. The hotel is centrally located by Lake Garda.

I reserved a quadruple room on their web site for 3 nights at 260€/night. This is quite pricey for a 3* hotel, but this was the only hotel with an available quadruple room with a lake view those days, so I went for it. Given that the “lake view “ was among the room amenities listed for my room type on their web site when I reserved (see screen shot attached), my expectation was to get it. Too bad this was not the case. To my greatest surprise, not only didn’t I get the lake view, but I did not get any view at all!! Let me explain this. The first half of my window (up to 180cm at least) was completely covered by a frosted glass which could not be removed nor lifted in any way - see picture. This was not clearly what I purchased and paid for, so I went and talked to the lady at the reception. The hotel was fully booked and I could not get another room. After couple of long discussions with 2 different ladies, I was granted a discount of 20€/night resulting in that I ended up paying 240€/night for a jail-like room. To make things even worse, the owner was there when I went and complained, but when he realized I was not letting things go as I was too disappointed, he literally hid in the back office and did not get out until I left (although I asked about him as I wanted to talk to him in person) - which is unacceptable and unrespectful. If you feel you are right and you did nothing wrong, you don’t need to hide and can afford to talk to an unhappy customer, I believe there is no doubt about this. Other than this, the hotel was nothing special and crazy expensive and I would probably never get back, even if the window “accident” had not occurred.
