Recently refurbished and close to the centre of Broadstairs, Kent, The Bay Tree is ideally located for a weekend break or holiday in one of England's most beautiful and traditional seaside resorts. Situated in a dramatic location on the cliff top, there are stunning views of the coastline and sandy beaches in Stone Bay. There is a terrace for looking out over the bay while enjoying a relaxing drink from our licensed bar, an inviting lounge with an open fire and a restaurant featuring gourmet cuisine with locally-sourced ingredients. All bedrooms are en suite and have flat screen smart TVs and tea-making facilities. Many offer a sea view and one room has a balcony. Breakfasts are cooked to order using local produce.
The hotel is beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and super soft towels. Breakfast was excellent, as was the tarragon chicken which one of our party had at supper and adored. Drinks before supper were in the sitting room with its fabulous sea view. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. It is also unique due to the collection of Harry Potter memorabilia hanging in the hallway. The Bedlington terriers are also a joy!

Westbrook Lodge is a beautiful guest house, having accommodation for 28 guests. Our bedrooms are well-furnished and complete with tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and towels. We have a first class dinning room (with food to match!), a cosy, well-stocked nonalcoholic bar with surprisingly reasonable prices, a small library and free WI-FI internet. Hot snacks and drinks can be provided in the late evening if required and also a very tasty breakfast in the morning.
Five of us stayed for a night in three of the rooms with shared bathrooms, for a mini-reunion and to see Sister Sledge at Dreamland. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and decorated so creatively, and the shared bathrooms were spotless. Tracey and Colin were friendly and chatty and couldn't have done more for us during our stay. I particularly appreciated the additional provisions made for my 'health' issue, I would have really struggled otherwise. Breakfast tasted great and was booked in advance. Parking is plentiful and free. The location is central - we walked to and from the town centre multiple times and the sea is even closer! We had a lovely time here and next time I'm in Margate I look forward to returning.

An a la carte breakfast is included in all room rates. Subtle plays on The Libertines’ lyrics are featured throughout. The Albion Rooms also comprises a restaurant, coffee shop, two bars and a state of the art recording studio.
We stayed at the Albion Rooms on the night of our wedding (got married in Dreamland) and it was perfect. Our guests filled the hotel for 2 nights and each and every one of them were in love with the rooms but also the service. The staff at the Albion Rooms are amazing. Everyone we interacted with were so helpful, friendly, fun and dedicated to making sure the trip was the best ever. The attention to detail at the hotel is brilliant, the decor - divine. Essentially it’s ? with the visit - you won’t want to leave.

We are a small vegetarian B&B in beautiful Broadstairs. We have 3 rooms, 1 of which, the Beach room, can be a twin. We provide a hamper breakfast pre ordered the night before and delivered to your room fresh in the morning. We cater for most dietary requirements. We are a very short walk to Broadstairs centre with a huge choice of bars pubs cafe's and reataurants. Viking bay with its clean sandy beach is just a 3 minute walk away. We are right on the Loop bus route getting you to Ramsgate and Margate to see the attractions there as well. We are VisitEngland 4 Star silver rated. We have won several awards, and recently were winners of Channel 4's "Four in a Bed".
I am not usually given to writing reviews, but felt compelled to write after our stay. We had a wonderful short stay at Copperfields on our first visit to Broadstairs. The owner, Neale, was very accommodating. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the B&B had a calm and quiet atmosphere. There were also a number of ethically sourced and cruelty free products available, which was good to see. The breakfast, served to us in our room each morning, was of good quality and absolutely delicious, providing a great start to the day. There was a wide selection of breakfast options to choose from. Copperfields is perfectly located for the beach, sightseeing, local restaurants and public transport (approx. 5 minutes to the beach, and buses to Margate, Canterbury and Ramsgate just on the doorstep). We would definitely recommend this B&B. We look forward to hopefully returning at some point.

Artfuls is a very different quirky and unique B&B situated in the heart of Broadstairs. All of the individually themed rooms have en-suite facilities and have their own tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have their own T.V, hairdryer and have complimentary Wi-Fi. There is also a licensed bar open to the public as well as guests, the opening times will depend on the season.
Delightful, quirky B&B. Warm welcome from friendly, well trained staff. We stayed in ‘Beach’ themed room for a 3 night stay. We prefer non cooked breakfast but obvious that a wide range of options available. Extra points for Darcy’s ( owner’s dog) morning entertainment. Thank you Neal and team.

The Hotel De Ville is a Public House and Hotel. We have 9 rooms, all twin with en suite except for one single room. we have 2 rooms that are big enough to make family rooms with 2 put up beds. Their are 5 rooms upstairs and 4 downstairs. The rooms are clean, comfy and tidy. The top rooms with sea views. There are 2 floors up, my flat 1st floor and the rooms on 2nd floor. Breakfast is £5 a head extra, and (as i cook enough for me too!) is hearty and tasty. The pub is a friendly , busy place and we have live music on once a week. There are plenty of restaurants in the near vicinity. Some cheaper ones and some expensive ones if you want that little bit more!We are a ten minute walk from the town and the same to the Royal Harbour. there is a five minute walk to the seafront/beach which is straight down the road.we have people stay here for a few weeks sometimes an if you ask, you are more than welcome to use our fridge and microwave , or even get a take away and use our plates and cuttlery and eat it in our breakfast room.My wife and i have only had the place nearly a year, and have made some big changes.
We arrived and was greeted by the owner and shown our room, we stayed to attend a concert in dreamland and the barmaid arranged our taxi which was very cheap compared to Uber. We used the same driver to collect us after. We had a drink in the bar as we waited, all the locals were friendly, and accommodating. We came back late and it was very quiet. The rooms were clean, and comfortable, and was easy to get outside for a smoke. Was a great stay, and would definitely stay again.

Stopped here for breakfast after a dog walk. Menu was expensive for a cafe breakfast, so expected it to be decent quality. The food was delivered to the table, and there was literally a tablespoon of tinned mushrooms on the breakfast. No cutlery was brought to the table and I then had to walk inside to get some and was offered some wooden cutlery… I asked for some normal cutlery which I was given after telling them I don’t wish to struggle to eat with wooden flimsy cutlery. Over £22 for two poor quality breakfasts and two drinks and poor service. I will not return here and I’d advise people to not come here unless you want poor quality food and poor service and expensive prices… tinned mushrooms…. Who even does that?

We recently spent a week at The Hussar whilst working in the area, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This is a family owned and run pub/hotel with good food and beer, friendly and welcoming staff, customers and the owners couldn't do enough for us. The food is really good with the Thai food an absolute treat. Live music is an unexpected bonus. Our room was clean and comfortable, free WiFi is good and easily accessible. Thanks you and best wishes for the future

Had a great overnight stay at Shenandoah. very friendly and attentive host, Jim. 20 min stroll to Margate Old Town. B&b has been refurbished and room and public spaces were clean and welcoming. Pls ignore (or,,better. TA, take down ) out of date review from Aug 2019 which does not represent the current offering.
