Awesome setup. Walking distance to city center. Humongous courtyard, so you can pull your car into the courtyard, have it under shelter safe and secure, and see it from your room depending on which room you get. They give me a key to the pedestrian gate, so I could come and go after hours. Rooms are great, and breakfast was tasty.

Everything about our stay here was perfect. The hotel is right in the centre of Granada, about 2 minutes walk from where our bus (from Leon) dropped us. Restaurants, bars, cathedrals and the market were all so close by, yet despite staying over a weekend there was no noise to disturb our sleep. The owner, Gerry, gave us many amazing recommendations, as well as directions around the city, and helped us book trips. Compared to every other pace we have stayed in our month in Nica the hotel is the most western friendly, with hot water, toilets that you can flush paper and air conditioning. Breakfast was beautiful, each morning Gerry made pancakes and we were also given fresh fruit and toast. Use of the communicable kitchen along with fridge for drinks was available, and there was a water filter machine to fill bottles also free. Nice modern TV in the room with ability to log into Netflix. Can’t believe the value for money this hotel offers!

Our lodge, combining modernity and colonial style (with the strictest respect for Nature) is located on top of a hill 350m above sea level, offering spectacular views of the surrounding area: - Granada,'the great sultana', founded in 1524. - Lake Nicaragua , its Peninsula and isletas ( small islands)and even as far as the other side of the lake distant of more than 60 km. - Last but not least the ubiquitous Mombacho volcano, a protected Nature Reserve, with trees over a hundred year old and exceptional wildlife. El Respiro's unique setting offers both tranquility and communion with Nature. Due to its proximity to Granada, colonial architecture, restaurants and nightlife is only 10 minutes away...
This is a stunning place. Set high up on hills above Granada, with volcano views, cooling winds, a swimming pool, hot outdoor shower, wi-fi, friendly hosts and good food. It has solar power, free filtered drinking water and fans in the rooms, so good environmentally. Hosts were friendly and helpful, I really didn't want to leave! It's only 15 minutes into Granada and a few minutes to Volcan Mombacho, so good location.

Granada makes the perfect holiday base to tour and sightsee the whole country.
The hotel is beautiful, impeccably designed, with amazing hospitality. The neighborhood was safe and easy to walk around the old town, churches and be part of the culture in Granada. The pool was always a perfect way to end the day. We'll be back!

Four modern cabins with private baths and hot showers steps away from an open air restaurant all beneath huge topical forest trees on the Volcano Mombacho. There is good internet reception available with the use of a USB antenna. Airport or transportation to Mombacho Lodge from Managua, Granada or San Juan del Sur can be arranged.
Our first impression was great wildlife, birds, monkeys, jungle, happy we entered the house and everything changed dirty !! bathroom, bedding in a deplorable condition full of stains, snake skin stuck to the wall, a leaky mosquito net ,, a nightmare, but that's not everything our dinner turned out to be a total mistake ? the beef was terrible it was impossible to chew it, the chicken was cold and hard, poured with the same sauce as the beef, i.e. red wine straight from the bottle, we only ate potatoes because it was fit to eat so we told the waiter that we did not want it and we returned to the house after a while the indignant owner popped in and said that it was tasty for him! but if we do not like it, we do not have to pay but what turned out after breakfast we had to pay half, he did not say thank you about sorry or command or have a nice day or breakfast tasted! nor very expensive My opinion is that the owner is completely ignorant and completely unable to talk and helping the client

El Arca de Noé Lodging is a family owned hotel located at the center of beautiful Granada, Nicaragua. We offer affordable acommodation and our prices include breakfast plus a complimentary historic city your of Granada.
We stayed here for one night whilst in Granada. We liked the friendliness and hospitality of the owner, Carlos. He was quick to share a local map and provide tips on what to do and where to go on our arrival. He also provides a car guided tour of Granada, which was fantastic and very fascinating to hear the colourful history of the city. Our room was comfortable and spacious. We were in the back of the hostel and it sounded like there was another hostel/ club nearby with loud music, however that died down around 10pm. The courtyard common area is also a great space to relax with plenty of hammocks in the shade to choose from. Breakfast is included and is a choice of tipico or pancakes, served with coffee. You can also book tours through the hostel. All in all a great value stay.

This is a no-frills hotel at a no-frills price. The one-story buildings are painted in different colors, which lends a Caribbean vibe to the property. If you need an extra towel, ask for one. The wi-fi worked well each time I tried it. The staff is really nice and wants to please you. The property is gated, which I appreciated as a female staying alone. Good breakfast beside a pretty pool with a bit of landscaping. I stayed there at the beginning and end of my trip and have no complaints.

We stayed at another hotel for the first 4 nights in Granada, but they didn't have room for our final night so we had to find an alternate. Last minute booking meant we ended up here - hotel is ok, with decent location, but definitely wouldn't be our first choice. Rooms are very loud, stairs and walkways are very noisy and you can hear everything in the hotel. Staff were nice, but not particularly welcoming. For the price there are far better choices available.
