Reviewed By SyybThis is a budget hotel near NingXia night market, we had a double room with Windows on third floor, room is pretty small, bathroom is relatively big with jacuzzi and Japanese style washlet toilet seat. Bed comfortable, super large TV with stereo sound, excellent for movie watching or music listening. Set breakfast is included every morning in their Small cafe, you have to make your own choice day before. Negative is some smell from the bathroom, overall not a bad choice for us.

Smoothies is highly recommended. Service is great. We received very warm hospitality from the owners, and enjoyed a wonderful spring afternoon. Clean, simplistic and tiny
Reviewed By dingding369It’s clean and simplistic with nice arrangements of some cute succulents. Nice shower and very comfortable bed. But be aware the room is tiny, much smaller than it’s shown on photos. There is no chair and table to sit properly, hardly any space to open my carryon. I generally like compact space and also travel solo, so it wasn’t a big problem for me.

Reviewed By JasperHofmanI loved this place: my room (505) was just perfect. All kinds of unusual and unique designer stuff in the room including a bike - which I ould have used. Most importantly besides the design: a great bed. Staff was very friendly and in a sincere - I mean not the fake friendliness in some 5 star properties -way. No breakfast, but there are some good opportunities nearby.

A true hidden gem--wish we could have stayed longer!
Reviewed By jessinwisconsinIt's been almost a year since we stayed at Originn Space, and we're still reminiscing about it. We would absolutely stay again. Everything was perfect, from the surrounding historic neighborhood, to the calm ambience, to the delicious coffee and other thoughtful amenities, to the vintage turntable, excellent selection of records, and the friendly resident feline. The whole vibe was just homey and soothing. Our room had a very high ceiling and a private bathroom with an enormous soaking tub. This room does not have windows, so it was relatively quiet. We did hear a bit of street noise, but nothing that would keep us awake at night. We found lots of fascinating things to see, do, and eat within walking distance. Culturally and historically significant Dihua Street is steps away from this property. We were lucky enough to be there just prior to Chinese New Year, when this street is closed off to local traffic and transforms into a massive New Year market. And as others have said, it is very near to the Beimen MRT station, with all of Taipei easily accessible from there. We were so glad we stayed at Originn Space rather than some boring chain hotel! Someday we will be back.

Reviewed By RayTeoCheck-in counter (like a money-changer counter) is hidden inside a foot massage shop. No slopes for luggages, no one to help you carry prams, luggages etc. The staff with no uniforms will at most help you to open the door to a clubhouse building and then tap on the lift sensor to allow you assess to level 5 which apparently is the only level that is "owned" by the hotel out of the whole building. Your room card is only for assess to the room. Toilet emits a stench that equates the dead rat / insects. Breakfast was a serious disaster, breakdast area not condusive for a proper seating. Many hotel guests were equally shocked as I was when they stepped in. No words can descibe the dissapointment. If you have booked and paid, good luck, If you have not booked, please dont even consider this premises. There are better hotels at the same/better rate nearer to XMD and certainly no need to tolerate the nosense we experienced. Writing this to warn others, my kiddos actually classify this as a "scam" hotel, and we suspect that the many good reviews on another platform bxxxxxx.com maybe submitted by "paid" contributors.

Very compact, near new, small modern and efficient ensuite bathroom. Access is via keypad, code changes daily. Good location. $40-60 AU range, elevator. No bag store. Firm bed, value here.
