We had a very nice stay while our kid was attending a sport event, the owners love what they do...don't miss the home made breakfast full of delicious items. Very nice quiet spot! And perfect location to visit Paimpol...and at a great rate! Don't hesitate.

I’ve been here for a couple days during a long weekend. This place is gorgeous, especially the garden, such a meticulous piece, I would say it’s like a Monet’s house in tiny scale! Lovely breakfast, I strongly recommend this place.

No doubt we had a perfect family room as we were taking our son with his 2 best friends for a fun long week end. The owners run this place very efficiently with great attention. Their continental buffet breakfast serves plenty to keep your tummy full. We loved having our evening drinks on the quiet sunny terrasse as the boys were playing in the covered pool. The family room has plenty of room and the kitchenette with the fridge was very useful. It is nice to park next to the bedroom, and the kids loved the grounds to play soccer and other sports. We ll be back!

Located in the heart of Dinan, the Maison Pavie - behind its characterful façade - offers a singular, luminous and refined haven. Enchanting, the beautiful house makes an impression with its great age and the attributes it has kept from its origins in the Middle Ages. It also charms by the elegance of its decoration and its airs of elsewhere - influences from the East and memories of the travels of Auguste Pavie, an explorer and diplomat born within its walls in 1847. With the good care of Sophie and her team, we cultivate the pleasure of welcoming, meeting and sharing. The guest house features room service. Plus, guests can enjoy breakfast, which has made this a popular choice among travelers visiting Dinan. For guests with a vehicle, free parking is available. Travelers looking to enjoy some tapas can head to La Tomate or Le Bistrot du Marché. Otherwise, you may want to check out a Mediterranean restaurant such as La Tomate. Dinan is also known for some great castles, including Château de Dinan and Chateau - Tour du Coetquen, which are not too far from La Maison Pavie. The staff at La Maison Pavie looks forward to serving you during your upcoming visit.
The historical building was restored with great taste. The place was not hard to find as it was right by Saint Saveur Church and Jerome gave excellent directions. Adjacent Street parking was easy to find. A short walk away are cafes, pizzerias and 2 very good restaurants— Fleur de Sel and Cantorberry (reservations recommended). Dinan is a big town, I found the ramparts, castle, especially the pretty port area too far to walk but then I walk with a cane. Living in a well restored old building has its pluses and minuses. Narrow winding staircase with steps not wide enough for my size 9 feet, really heavy doors, uneven floors. My “king size” bed is sized like a full bed. The mattress needs to be replaced; it is no longer flat but slopes down on the side, I felt I have to fight gravity just to change my sleeping position. On the other hand my room was huge, bright, airy and had a lot of lovely character. WiFi worked well. Breakfast is very well done. Jerome is extremely attentive and helpful. 15 years ago, I’d have loved this place. But today with less agility and more finicky about sleep and functional practicality for myself, not so.

Sandrine's guest house : "le cordon blanc" near the canal d'ille et rance is a treasure trove of peace and quiet. it has 5 charming bedrooms with private bathroom and toilet. it has a very soft atmosphere in the warmth of the recycled furniture. The house is located in a green setting, composed of bamboo (60 varieties) and fruit trees spread over 1 hectare.
We stayed at this charming countryside B&B for three nights, in the 'toile et lin' room, on the first floor of the guest building, facing the front of the building. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The B&B is located right off of a small country road, but we found that when we closed the window and curtain at night, it was quiet, and we could not hear any passing cars on the road, albeit, it is not a busy road. The breakfasts were delicious and included among other things, waffles one morning, and French toast (as we call it) another morning, in addition to an assortment of croissants and breads, coffee and juice. Sandrine and her husband were incredibly welcoming. Both were comfortable enough in English so that they could communicate with us, given our limited French, and Sandrine took the time to recommend places to eat and things to do and see. We loved their spacious and historic kitchen, where we had our breakfast. The B&B was full of charm in both the decorating and the hospitality. Many thanks to Sandrine and her family for welcoming us into your home. The B&B is located outside the small town of Evran in the Brittany countryside. It was about a 40 minute drive to Mont Saint-Michel; an hour drive to the old village of Fourges; and a short drive to the quaint medieval city of Dinan, where we had dinner one night – so a great location for seeing some of northern Brittany. We also loved Sandrine’s recommendation for oysters in Cancale.

Artefact a place on a human scale, a bit hybrid, between a hotel for the service and a guesthouse for its authenticity and friendliness. In this old building from 1814 with 4 bedrooms, we find this hybrid side in the decoration where antique furniture is associated with more contemporary touches to energize the whole. Mix and match of atmosphere, with more vintage rooms on the 1st floor and a more contemporary 2nd floor. Guests are bound to find something that suits them. A bistro room awaits you for the homemade breakfast. The living room invites you to relax with a collection of board games, a library, its fireplace and its old panoramic wallpaper over 200 years old. Finally, the stone courtyard and the garden are ideal for having a drink in any season. Ideally located 10 minutes from the confidential seaside resort of Pléneuf-Val-André and therefore from the Emerald Coast (Erquy, Sables d'Or, Cap Fréhel, etc.) and above all ideally positioned between to the west, the Côtes de Granit Rose and a little further east St Malo and Dinard. Set back inland: the unmissable medieval town of Dinan. In short, an ideal base camp!
We stayed there for two nights with friends - the rooms are super cool in there decorations and clean. Great breakfast and the owner is very accommodating and nice. Great back garden for sun-tanning or a game of badminton. Place for drinks and lounging as well.Close to great restaurants and beautiful strolls. Highly recommend this place to stay !!!

On the spot booking when I arrived in Dinan by Motorcycle. Stephan could not have been more helpful, opening the gated courtyard to store my bike for the night. Good, clean modern room. Would rebook without hesitation.
