After a very early morning start from the UK, arriving in Beaune and having the chance of a very relaxing evening in this lovely B&B. The beds are extremely comfortable and the breakfast is delicious, with home-made jams and lovely coffee, which set us up nicely for the second leg of our journey. It is about 5 miles outside Beaune and so very easy to park (which isn’t always the case in Beaune) and Laetitia booked a very nice restaurant for us in Beaune. Highly recommended.

The charming Cottage du Château bed and breakfast enjoys wonderful views of the towers of the château in Chaudenay le Château and is just at 25 minutes from Beaune and Nuit Saint Georges, ideally located for visiting the Burgundy region and sampling its specialities. Come and enjoy the cottage, an old farmhouse recently renovated to provide maximum comfort. Book your room here in the tranquility of this verdant setting. SCARLETT and PHILIPPE welcomes you all year round.
Very pleasant stay in the Cottage. Scarlett and Phillipe are very friendly hosts with a good sense of humor. They were always ready with informative advices regarding exploration of Burgundy in both English and French. The Cottage was in great condition with renovated rooms, cozy atmosphere and appeared very clean. Tasty breakfast was served including homemade yogurt and different marmalades. For drinking there was juices and coffee. We leave the best recommendations for Le Cottage for anyone who is exploring the Burgundy area. We would definitely stay there again.

What a wonderful rustic, charming location for an overnight stay. Full of original 17th and 18th century tapestries and furniture. If you are looking for a 5* modern hotel then it’s not for you but if you want an experience it is. Seen bad reviews on here but don’t agree with them at all. Charming butler who greeted on arrival and served breakfast in the courtyard.

4 bedrooms located on a quite and calm place, in the countryside, at about 8km from the exit motorway A6, for Dijon. All with their private bathroom. Breakfast to be taken on the dining room or on the garden, if the weather allows it. Diner can be served if requested the day before, as all is done with local products and home made.
We stayed three nights at this B&B. The only room available was the smallest with the bathroom/toilet down the hall. These facilities were only for our use and there was a sink in our bedroom. The room was comfortable and I also spent time downstairs in the living room which has nice sofas and many books to peruse. The entire place was spotless. The B&B is in an excellent location to visit medieval villages and châteaux. It’s not far from the Burgundy Canal, great for walking, running, and cycling. The Burgundy vineyards are not far away. The breakfasts were copious with many homemade preserves, honey, and a selection of cheeses to accompany the bread. Two kinds of yogurt, goat milk and homemade, were offered. Our hostess, Veronique, prepared a different treat each morning like apricot crumble and crème caramel. Veronique speaks excellent English and she sat with me and my husband a few times for good conversation. She is very interesting and knowledgeable. We did not get to meet her husband, Jacques, as he is ill. We will definitely return to this charming, comfortable B&B.

Lovely old building in the heart of Dijon, ideal for a week end en amoureux. The host is very flexible and kind, she allowed us an early check in and gave us precious advices about food shopping and restaurants. The room and common spaces where very clean, cosy and welcoming, a real treat :)

We stayed here for two nights. Do not stay here, just look at our photo of the toilet and you understand why. Unfriendly reception, old mattress with a big dip, too short (my feet stick out), walls of cardboard so you can hear your neighbors talk. Our worst hotel in years.

The small hotel offers newspaper and express check-in and check-out, to make your visit even more pleasant. The property also features an on-site restaurant. While you’re here, be sure to check out Le Cafe Parisien, one of the cafes that can be found in Saulieu, which is a short distance from Aux Quatre Vents.
