Hotel is located in the center of Copan; it is only 15 minutes walk to the Mayan Ruins, close to restaurants and gift shops. It features: 9 comfortable and well-equipped guestrooms. Room facility includes: two semi-orthopedic double beds, private bathrooms, hot water, ceiling fan, flat screen TV, wifi Internet, private balconies with panoramic views, parking on side, laundry service & complimentary housekeeping.
I stayed three nights a this pleasant guest house, and I can strongly recommend it. There was everything I needed for a nice stay -- clean, comfortable room and private bathroom; ceiling fan and air conditioner that really worked; helpful and considerate owner; nice breakfast; and at least from my room, a great view of the mountains to the west, and a nice balcony from which to admire it. It is about four blocks from the central plaza -- not far, but sufficient for a quiet night.

Since 1995, La Casa de Cafe is a colonial inspired B&B Inn and a charming and comfortable base from which to explore Copan. All rooms offer oversized windows, hand crafted furniture and open to a shady porch strung with hammocks. Full complimentary breakfast is served in our garden which boasts a spectacular view of the Copan River Valley and the distant mountains of Guatemala. Complimentary coffee (the best in town), herbal teas, iced tea & hot chocolate served any time.
Casa de cafe is excellent. Clean, comfortable and well priced rooms situated within a charming courtyard (even managed to save us from the classic Central American sounds of dogs barking in the night). The breakfast is actually spectacular. The best brekkie that we’ve had whilst travelling. Iguana Azul next door is also great, we spent our first two nights in the Studio attached (very kindly provided with a free upgrade after a booking.com related glitch in the matrix). Copan Ruinas itself is lovely with plenty to see and do nearby, Casa De Cafe served as the perfect accommodation. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. Alex and Olivia U.K.

This is a budget hotel within 1 km of the center of the city, 2 km from the Copan Ruins. The hotel is located across from the local cemetery in which it's colorfully decorated inside/outside as well. The rooms are typical with bed, T.V.. bathroom with shower. .Maid service is on request. The compounds of the hotel is tastefully decorated, painted with bright colors with an upper terrace to relax overlooking the area. They sell souvenirs as well in the front desk should anyone be interested. As for meals they'll offer you coffee with toast next to the front desk otherwise go into town. Just be prepared to hear the roosters crow all night long from your room as there is a farm just outside the hotel. That kept me awake.

Casa Villamil is one of the oldest, most historical, and finest houses in town. It began in the 1900’s as a family house and has now been revamped into a delicate boutique hotel. Come and encounter a unique colonial experience with a suitably modern twist and guaranteed comfort.
Besides the thoughtfully decorated and well equipped rooms, the welcoming public areas that remind you of a little villa in the middle of France or Italy and the great location and amazing view of the whole town from the terrace kitchen while having a traditionally cooked breakfast by Dona Esperanza; the core of this magic place is the hospitality of the small but very efficient hotel's crew, from the receptionists to the housekeeper (the famous Dona Esperanza also in charge of those already mentioned delicious breakfasts accompanied with freshly made tortillas), everybody is there to help you and make sure your experience is the best possible. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED

We offer comfortable rooms equipped with all necessary services to provide our guests an unforgettable experience.
A very nice "family-run establishment" (with warm welcomes from all members of the family) right in the Copan village, getting at this place for the quite reasonable price of about 25 US$ a night was my own "small-but-not-tiny" room (with actually a good-sized bed which takes up a good part of the room, a small TV mounted on a wall & also an ensuite bathroom of a size to move around easily). And yes, just as satisfactory as the accommodation was the "filling breakfast" on the 2nd floor (with also a not-too-distant view of some "serene mountains" around the Village to see from the tables alongside the railing facing the street in front of this place); and also as for the meals apart from the breakfast, one which I can definitely suggest is a pretty good Chinese restaurant (to the left after coming out of this place then to the right just at the first street where the restaurant is on the right side after a short downhill way) although there are also a number of other places to eat around this place apart from that one. As for the well-known Copan "ruin site", it's just about a 20-minute walk away, first to the "east gate" of the Village (where on the wall just inside the gate a "long mural scene" which I would say a pretty great collection of some "defining images" of this area including that of a jaguar!) for about a 10-minute walk followed by another 10 minutes straight along the road leading out of that gate to the gate of the "ruin site" (a "big gate" unmissable on the right side of the road with also a row of souvenir vendors on the left side). And yes, a "quaint place" in itself with cobble-stoned streets lined with small multi-colored buildings of 1 or 2 stories (kind of a "mini-Cartagena" as I would put it, and more similar both in appearance & size to those like Granada in Nicaragua and Antigua & Flores in Guatemala), pretty much everywhere in the Village is just within a 10-minute walk from this place including the "main plaza" (at just a short walk to the left just along the street in front).

Honestly, not the best hotel. The location is a little difficult to get to and the streets around the hotel are quite noisy. However, the common area is beautiful and a nice place to chill. The staff are super sweet and very helpful. Its within walking distance from the center of town, but you won't want to walk up the huge hill to get back.
