Excellent apartment hotel
Reviewed By alberteriI have to congratulate the owners for building this new apartment hotel. Perfect for longer stays with the built in kitchenette, spacious bathrooms and big living space. Everything is picked out with great style, very tasteful integrating the Black Forest heritage in the decor. The breakfast was delicious also in a very stylish setting. The owners and the staff are very nice and helpful with your request. Still crispy fresh and definitely my go to place from now on in Bühl. Loved it! Highly recommended++++

A warm and friendly welcome in a stylish and beautifully revamped B&B
Reviewed By NmeertWe stayed at this B&B for one night with befriended couples and had a great time. As the nearby restaurant was closed the friendly owners Ursula (Ushi) and Rex did not hesitate to offer us a home-made delicious barbecue on their cosy terrace. We had such a good time with the others guests and the owners who joined us for dinner. The B&B walls are decorated with art work from Ursula, who paints. The rooms are revamped with great taste (lovely bathroom with good shower!) and great smelling cosmetic products from the Jean and Len brand. Thank you, Ursula and Rex, for making us feel at home instantly. We have such good memories of our stay with you. Strongly recommended!

Proper food and no so proper accomodation
Reviewed By viaUAAI stayed here when walking Westweg. The dinner (wiener schitzel with potato/spatzle and salad) was very good and also the breakfast was proper. On the other hand the accomodation was not so OK, but i have stayed in the building located about 50 meters away from restaurant. There are several rooms with shared bathroom and toilet that are very outdated. But, they have some rooms also in the main building (where is restaurant) and probably these rooms are much more cosy and new. Other aspect is price that is quite high - for twin room with shared bathroom overnight stay was 110 EUR (reserved via booking.com) and the breakfast was not included. Compared to some other accomodations on the Westweg, with much more cosy rooms and en-suite bathrooms, this price was indeed quite high. So, overall the rating for restaurant will be 4 stars, while the given 3 stars refer to accomodation part. Nevertheless, the staff was helpful.

Reviewed By MKAmsSydneyWe stayed in the Gasthaus in January - weather was cole but the room was cosy and perfectly clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff were exceptional - like visiting with relatives! Would recommend highly if visiting Lauf. Breakfast included and ample.

Reviewed By Karen PUsual hotel fully booked then we found this gem. A bit out of town but close to motorway Ness Affentaler winery. Typical, silent (except for Sunday church bells) southern German village. We had a two bed apartment with living room and balcony..wunderbar! Chef patron turns out delicious (and ample) local specialties in a restaurant obviously well frequented by locals. Great breakfast. Plenty parking and a beautiful garden to chill on. Plenty places to go for a stroll. Another place to add to our go-to touring list

Reviewed By HayleyAnn88We were given a lovely big room right at the front of the hotel. It was more of a suite than a room and huge in comparison to most European hotels. The room was very comfortable and clean if a bit dated. The staff were all extremely helpful and spoke English very well (we speak no German). We had breakfast one day which was very nice and a delicious evening meal.

Reviewed By Meike KSehr gute Lage. Kleines, aber ausreichendes Zimmer. Kleiderschrank hoch genug, um auch Kleider aufzuhängen. Freundlicher Empfang. Gutes Bett. Internet funktioniert gut. Frühstück ist ab neun Uhr im Eiscafe erhältlich.

Reviewed By Lukas LZimmer sehr sauber. Jedes Zimmer ist anders. Sehr freundliches Personal. Es gibt dort ein recht gutes WLAN. Liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Frühstück ist sehr lecker und man hat eine recht große Auswahl.

Reviewed By Bchadwick76I didn't spend the night in the hotel, but my wife (who grew up in Oberbruch) and I had dinner there and it was wonderful. What a warm cozy little place. Loved it! The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. I reccomend this restaurant/ hotel to anyone who's looking for a place away from all the tourist-ish spots because it's not so crowded that you're overwhelmed, thus making it more beautiful!
