Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room and appliances that work (sounds obvious but so many places do not even do the basics right), reasonable prices and good location, nice breakfast, highly recommended and way better than any chain hotel you could visit.

The University of Bradford is 750 yards from us, while Coral Windows Stadium is 900 yards away. The nearest airport is Leeds Bradford International Airport, 6.8 miles from the property, so you can be sure to be in an accessible location.
The room was small, clearly hadn't been cleaned properly as there were dirty wrappers behind the sofa and even someone's vape left under the bed. The blinds were broken and so were the plug sockets. The walls were in desperate need of new paint and all the metalwork in the bathroom was rusty. Didn't even supply toilet paper. Cheap at last minute but still not value for money at all.

Needed a place to kip whilst attending a wedding. Place is like uni halls of residence. Very clean rooms with fully kitted kitchen on each floor. Would give 5 stars but 1 taken down as no instructions on how to get access to your room (no reception). You have to ring the caretaker to let you in and give you your keys. Had to wait 45 mins and eventually emailed stating we were waiting before someone came. Some rooms face a uni halls which was noisy and seagulls squawking early in the morning was a nuisance. Would stay again though in the area based on price and cleanliness.

I didn't expect much from the outside of the house but when I was in I was very happy to find that the house was really well kept. Irene has thought of everything to make one's stay really comfortable, from posh towels, extra heater, hot water bottle and bottle of drinking water in the room. Very comfortable living room and bedroom that are beautifully designed. And a fully equipped kitchen. Thank you so much Irene for making my stay very comfortable and cared for. Will definitely be back. Kali

This is in a quiet spot, which has also a farm shop! I stayed in one of the rooms in the barn, which had steps up to it. The room was very large, and you a small lounge area with a table to sit. The breakfast room has great views and as for the breakfast itself - wow - what a selection! Parking is nest to the steps where you stay.

The Woodlands Hotel is a traditional inn with restaurant and accommodation. The bar offers a wide range of beers, lagers and ciders together with a range of fine wines
I took a room at Woodslands hotel. First few days went well and the day before I had to vacate the land lady called me and said I’m being fined 40 pounds and remarked if I don’t pay I have to vacate my room immediately (it was around 8pm). Reason I did dining inside the room and left food stain marks on the bed. It is a fact that I ordered the food from outside (food phamplet distributed by the bar lady Sandra and she did not tell me anything about the rule not to dine in the room. In fact she is the one who gave me plate, fork, spoon and knife on my way to the room before o had my dinner). The land lady’s walked into my room and complained I have made food stains on the bed and tried to show the marks (which weren’t there available). She showed me the rule book and then I realised she is drunk that day. After lot of negotiation we settled in for 20 pounds and the receipt was a hand written paper. I took photo of her as an evidence she is drunk. She saw that and took photo of me. The music was on well past mid night and I had a highly embarrassing and unfriendly time. Don’t ever stay in this hotel.

Booked these apartments last minute through booking .com. I rang the owner on the morning we were due to arrive . She said the cleaners were going in and she would call with the codes in an hour , so we set off . No one called ,so I text and said we were 40 mins away and could we have arrangements please .. still no answer . We arrived at the apartments , after struggling to find as the building is called Victoria house . We called again but no answer. We went into the communal area to see if we could find anyone . This area was the filthest, run down place I've ever seen , boarded up window s and an office that appeared to be full of rubbish. This is as far as we got ! .My partner called from his phone to which the owner answered, saying that someone wolud be there soon. Nobody came .. Check in was 13.30 and we sat there until 4 pm , when we made the decision to go home which is two hours away . We tried voicemail ,email phone calls and text with no answer at all . No explanation for what happened .. but by the state of the outside and the so call communal area it was a dump . They also asked for a deposit of 80 pounds damage fee .. which my bank recovered for me as they believed we were part of a scam . Time off work wasted and plans ruined . Why ?? No idea has scam written all over it .
