If you want a quiet place, enjoy the sunshine and sunsets, this is the perfect place to be. Staff are friendly and the place is quiet. I got here at night and it was hard for me to get to my room with the beautiful moon making contrast with the alluring trees around. It is fantastic!

Hotel La Tata Premium offers an unique location in the heart of the Coffee Cultural Lanscape, beautiful gardens and comfortable accommodations to make your vacation time something unforgettable.
We booked this hotel via our travel agent as part of a tour to Colombia. We chose it ourselves and the agency kindly agreed to book it on our behalf as it wasn’t on their preferred suppliers list. Given our experience we can understand why. We arrived on a short flight from Medellin and were driven to the hotel by the local representative from our travel agency. On arrival the hotel looked nice and the grounds were pretty so we were happy with the choice. We started getting our bags out of the car when a woman came out of the kitchen and started discussing something in Spanish with the agent. After a short time the agent explained that the hotel had cancelled our booking. They gave the reason as being that they could only take family groups due to COVID. Note: we were a couple not a family and there were no such restrictions at any other hotel we stayed at so this was clearly a lie. The agent had paid 5 days before our arrival to secure the room and the hotel had never advised the agent of the cancellation. The hotel advised that they had moved our booking to their sister property, Hotel Campestre La Tata in Montenegro, 45 minutes away. This was a cheap tatty tourist resort complex. We instantly knew we had been taken for a ride. The place had no charm and was quite frankly vile. We were shown two rooms. They were disgusting. One had dead flies all over the bathroom sink. Neither had been cleaned in an eternity. The wiring was loose, windows and doors had plastic panels and the condition of the walls and furniture was simply awful. We refused to stay there. Our agent ended up having to try and find an alternative herself which was a challenge as this was a peak holiday period. The Tata owners apparently couldn’t care less at this point and offered us nothing as they already had our money. We ended up staying at a small Finca which was ok but certainly would not have been somewhere we would have chosen ourselves so this put a cloud over our stay in the area. Given the challenges within the travel industry at present we were shocked by the treatment we received at the hands of the owners of this property. We suspect they sold our room to locals and as we were foreigners felt they could shaft us. If you are thinking of staying here, we would advise you to avoid it as the owners are dishonest and you have no guarantee of a room even if you pay in advance.

Its A Beauttiful House With An Expectacular View It Is Perfect For People Who Would Like To Rest From The Noise From The City.
A few minutes on the road after Montenegro towards the Parque del Cafe (Coffee Park), and you'll find this lovely and cosy hotel. It has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, and other amenities to make your stay really comfortable. Staff is very helpful and always ready to help you out with anything you need. With good rooms for 3 or 4 or even 5 people, you'll enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings. The most important thing is that you will be very close to most of the interesting sites to visit in the Coffee Lands. Our longest trip was less than an hour long when we went to Salento. There are plenty of things to do in the surroundings or if you want, you can stay at the hotel and play some pool, football or volleyball. One thing to say also: the food was very good for the price. Whereas you might want to find something with more variety, what the hotel offers is of really good taste and quality and simple enough to not make too many waves. If you want something fancy you can go a get it around in one of the many restaurants in the area. Most of the Hotel work in the ground floor, so there is almos full access if you are handicapped.

I just got back from our 4 nights stay in Armenia, and I couldn't wait to write this review. We were a group of 8 staying in 2 family rooms (Quimbaya and Montenegro) both absolutely beautiful rooms. Quimbaya is a stand alone room with 4 double beds and a balcony, and Montenegro had 5 single beds and 2 bathrooms; in between 2 other rooms. No A/C in rooms, but we asked for extra fans that kept a nice temperature in the room. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL and well kept. The towels need an urgent upgrade: they have a mix of new ones and old ones, and the old ones have a musty smell and it's like drying with sand paper. The hotel bar is not what you'd expect from a hotel bar, is just beer, soda, water; and whisky and rum by the bottle. The game room is cool and we spent most nights playing games there. The pool was too cold to use and the Jacuzzi never got warm enough to be comfortable. The access road is rocky and uneven, we never dare to walk it so we always used taxi. Beware of mosquitos!!! Bring bug repellent and apply often, even before going to bed. They're inevitable and we all got nasty bites. Now, let's talk about their best asset: their staff! Lucia, the reception manager is so sweet and so helpful that we relied on her for pretty much everything, from arranging airport pick up to organizing transportation to the attractions, city center and more. She provided us with great information about the area, things to do, places to shop, etc. She always has a warm smile and great personality. Jesus, the night manager, was super cute and helpful as well. Janet was working the kitchen when we got there, tired and starving, and she didn't mind opening her kitchen early and cooking up a storm for us. Always with a smile, she kept up with the demand of this big group. The restaurant has a limited menu but everything we tried was delicious. But I have to give the biggest shout out to Damaris. She went above and beyond for us. She's is what Armenian people represent: kindness and warmth. My daughter got sick with the 24 hour stomach bug, and no only did Damaris make her a soup with whatever ingredients she could find in the kitchen despite their limited menu, but she called a guy from the next door farm to get fresh bananas for my girl, she delivered the soup to us and kept checking on her. Today when we checked out, she came by our room to say goodbye and we all had to hug her. It really felt like we were leaving our relatives home.... We were all sad!!! I can't thank Finca Valparaiso enough for their great hospitality and service! We can't wait to go back!!! Don't let negative reviews affect your decision to stay here and enjoy everything Armenia has to offer! PS: please tell Samba (the property's beautiful cat who kept my daughter company while she was sick) that Grace says hi!

Currently staying here. Not the most inspiring hotel ever but it is definitely clean, comfortable, spacious, right in the centre of time and great value for money. Breakfast was really good- eggs and arepas with coffee and fresh juice. Hot showers and friendly staff/manager.

Stayed here for a couple of nights after arriving from Bogota, we had pre-booked a room over the internet, for 2 nights the price was £36, good for 2 people, the room was fine, very spacious and clean, private bathroom, no air conditioning in the room but it wasn’t too hot, the hotel has good wi-fi as well The hotel is situated just of Plaza de Bolivar, okay through the day but a lot of homeless people at nights, the hotel doesn’t do breakfast but there’s plenty of places in the area to get a coffee, theres a wee café right beside the hotel that does decent scrambled eggs with toast and coffee for 4000 pesos, just over £1 Check out the indigenous paintings in the building If I was in Armenia again I would stay here again

Arriving in Armenia it was a little hard to find this hotel, however one we found it, it was a clean and spacious room hotel. We had two rooms booked because of the group of people we were with. They do have family rooms, but the maximum number of people per room is 4. The hotel is well secured and there is an all night staff. The area where it was located however, was not the greatest. They don't have parking available, however, various parking lots are in the area.

We had an amazing time in Colombia and it's the people that really make this country very special. Having the opportunity to stay at this hotel was wonderful. It was comfortable and the staff were so kind and helpful. The rooms are lovely and some- ours had a bathtub and hot water! What a treat! I would go back and back!

In Casa Hotel Linares, the contemporary architecture, the beautiful cultural coffee landscape, the cityscape and the confort combine to create an unforgettable experience for the guest. The spacious green fields, the coffee plantations, the horses and the beautiful and colorful gardens provide a warm and cozy welcome during your stay. Enjoy an exclusive high end stay with the countryside outside.
The staff is key to my 5 star review. They go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable. This hotel is pet friendly and our little black rabbit loved her stay at the hotel. The owners are always at hand, the breakfast is good and the rooms are cozy. The guests are friendly and seem to be of good company. It is a family hotel away from the noise of the "city" yet close enough to appreciate Armenia. The horses graze on grass as you lounge by the tiny pool/jacuzzi. I got to see the sunset with my daughter as we soaked our legs in the pool. Our stay was 4 days 3 nights, very afordable and satisfying. Highly recommend this hotel.
