Tribal Terenife still shows influence from the aboriginal Gaunches people. Visitors clamber to conquer Mount Teide (Spain’s tallest peak) and to stretch out on the sands of Los Gigantes. Squawk hello to the playful parrots of Loro Park, or brave the petrifying drive to beautiful Masca Valley. For a true taste of Terenife, sample fresh farmhouse cheese and local bananas. A piece of delicate calado canario lace makes a special souvenir.

Wow, what can I say. Booked this hotel after reading positive reviews from everyone else and I can say they are very accurate. I have broken this review down in sections:- Staff - Absolutely brilliant. From the moment you step into the hotel and your luggage is taken care of, to the warm reception and welcome drink, to the excellent housekeeping, the excellent service at the restaurant to the pool area and the activities. Nothing is a problem and the service is second to none. The staff should be congratulated on making it so easy for guests to just enjoy themselves. Room - We had a second floor room with a view over the street and could see the nearby mountain. It was a very clean and modern room with modern fittings. The bathroom was excellent with superb power rain fall shower and separate sinks. The room comes equipped with free safe, iron and ironing board. You have a minibar, though as we were All Inclusive, we did not end up using it. They have a great feature to reduce plastic waste by providing water stations close to the room where you fill a provided jug for your water needs. Beds were comfy. TV has BBC and a few English channels and option for Netflix that you can sign into. The only issue was at busy times, the Wi-Fi bandwidth simply can't cope and the picture is very pixelated. Other than that, all ok. Food - We went All inclusive. Firstly you need your phone to read the QR codes which bring up the drinks menu. We could go for anything without a *, which was plenty in my view and all drinks were perfectly made and of good value. Food was buffet style and there is literally something for everyone here. It is so varied so you will not be bored. Breakfast has the usual egg stations etc.. and lunch / dinner has fresh pasta/pizza section as well as daily paella made in front of you and delicious. There is also a fresh grill section, with 2 fish and 2 meat choices to choose from. Then on top of that, they have a roast section and loads of supporting vegetables and assorted dishes. To finish, you have a large selection of deserts and ice cream, with toppings. Tip, use the running chocolate fountain to cover your ice cream and it hardens nicely. Special mention to the team behind the counters making the dishes. Nothing was too difficult and they would go out of their way to make sure you get the dish you want. Really excellent. Pool Entertainment - Poolside entertainment was pool yoga on boards, keep fit as well as cycling, running machines and trampolines in the pool. It was great fun and you should try! As well they have soap making classes, learn to salsa, towel modelling etc.. Evening entertainment - We saw Elton John and Whitney Houston tributes, both of which were excellent fun and spot on. Also worth mentioning was a singer called Angel who sang a load of well-known favourites. All very enjoyable with the flow of cocktails coming. Package - We had All Inclusive, which is not Star Prestige but to be honest, we never once felt wanting more. It was sufficient and we had a really great time. Travel to/from Hotel - takes approx. 30 - 45 mins and we were the 1st stop from the airport coming by shared coach. Tip - Make sure you walk along the promenade day and night, as the experience is different. The beach is easily accessible via a dedicated hotel access. Do I recommend this hotel, absolutely! It is an Adults only hotel, so sorry no kids.

Hard one this. The issue is the rooms do not match the resort. TL;DR: rooms not great, first was not clean, mains cable for microwave dodgy. Resort facilities and staff are great. The bad Had a suite, floor was sticky in places, dust around, phone not working, some lights not working. So we have no physical hotel guide or menus due to covid but the place feels unlcean. OK. But the tipping point was plugging in the kettle and taking out the microwave one and seeing the outer insulation had gone. (see photo). Not bare wires but not up to standard. Hotel did move us but I felt they did not acknowldge the fact you cant have such electricity wiring in a hotel, let alone a 5 star hotel. I may be wrong but I doubt it was fixed in a hurry (or may still not have been). I didn't get an apology for this; it was an "oh" and let me check with my manager if there is a different room. After moving we then found out that our original room was missing things like furniture. No physical menus anywhere due to covid. App that controls most things is awful, slow and unreliable. But if you want to see your bill you have to go the front desk. The good Staff in general are great Facilities are good with daily activites for children Food is pretty good Spa is not cheap but excellent tip: if you drive there is off street parking and a big free public carpark next to the hotel. Hotel charges for car parking.

The hotel was amazing, service brilliant from start to finish. Had everything you could need in the hotel with a choice of 2 pools. Beach less than a 10 minute walk away along with shops and restaurants if not eating in the hotel. We hired a car and paid for the parking meaning we could go out during the day and not have to worry about taxis or buses. Would highly recommend breakfast, absolutely amazing selection and great service again. Staff were all really friendly and helpful, would absolutely look to book here again if we returned!

This fantastic hotel, with magnificent views of the Island of La Gomera, is locates next to the well-known beach of volcanic sand, Playa La Arena, two kilometres from the famous Los Gigantes cliffs and only forty from Tenerife South Airport. Landmar Costa los Gigantes Hotel is a perfect resort for an all-inclusive family holiday. It offers a combination of services aimed at fun for children and the enjoyment of their parents: swimming-pools, slides, splash pool, zip-wires and many play areas are interspersed with relaxing spaces for parents and adults such as the quiet swimming-pool, the Balinese bed area or the 1,800 square-metre SPA. The hotel has four restaurants, four bars, six swimming-pools, one of which has a children's slide, spacious sports areas including a complete gym, zip-wire, mini-golf, beach volleyball, a seven-a-side football pitch, mini-tennis, etc. What is more, there are many more activities for children and parents which will make a stay at the hotel an unforgettable experience
All of the things you think about when booking a hotel, particularly for a family, are spot on at this hotel. All staff - particularly the animation team but everyone you come across - really make you feel welcome and set a lovely, fun and friendly tone. My 5 and 9 year old didn't want to leave the complex - they were busy playing football, swimming, mini golf, dancing and being entertained and enthralled by the likes of Yoni and his brilliant colleagues in the kids club. Never a dull moment for the adults either, with Water Polo, Darts, Volleyball and Shows on offer between lovely meals in the restaurant and help yourself drinks by the pool. Food-wise, also excellent. The cooked breakfast could be slightly improved, but they are more than made up for by the delicious pastries on offer. The desserts were particularly delicious and varied. Kizunguzungu!

I hope this account does the hotel justice. Pure excellence…everything. In The Middle East, this hotel would be dubbed 7 star. The welcome, the staff, the facilities, the food, oh lord, the food. I am in late middle age and have travelled fairly widely. This hotel is the best hotel I have ever had the fortune to stay in. It beats Raffles, Dubai. I would mention over a dozen different staff who were consummate professionals in every sense…caring for you, listening to you, exceeding your expectations…every day. We had a junior suite with sea view (a fairly standard room in this grand scheme). Spotlessly clean, fully facilitated, turn down service, ample towels, comfortable. Extremely comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast & dinner was simply peerless. Extensive wine list. A great sommelier, and all waiters were so amiable. The pool and lounger guys were always keen to help, to a fault. We felt safe, great security. This hotel was so good, we never saw anything of Tenerife, I couldn’t tell you a thing about the locality. I could ramble on, but I can assure you of one thing…if you stay here you will return. I am booking right now, just 4 months later.

We visited here in January and April the 2 of us and were so impressed we brought the family back in June. Very spacious rooms and outdoor areas with plenty space for privacy and quiet.amazing breakfast selection and ultra efficient and polite staff. Reception staff great and extremely friendly and helpful . Dining room never too crowded or queues. Highlight was mihaela one of the bar staff in the bigger pools bar...an absolute character always smiling and very endearing who couldn't do enough for us ..sad to say she wasn't there on our last couple of days but an absolute gem. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel which also is in a perfect position to visit the restaurants/supermarket and local market. Will look.forward to visiting again.

Just all be careful as booking all inclusive because its not all inclusive, have to pay extra for a lot of cocktails and food so bring extra money, no way a 5star hotel , more like 3 star so please save your money. Rooms dated and sofa bed terrible , food cold and bland but if you go onto Facebook gf granners costa adeje they only keep positive comments on there page, someone complained tonight of how bad it was and I agreed and guess what we all got blocked, dont fall into the trap of how good it is as admin keep all this on and delete negative comments. Please please book elsewhere and enjoy your hols in an actual all inclusive hotel
