Hotel Cumbres San Pedro has changed the way to see and live the desert. A large citadel araises under the watchful eye of the Licancabur Volcano, by the chanar shadows and among the windind streams, perpetuating the simplicity of the indegenous people without neglecting the comfort offered by a luxury five star establishment. To experience it is the key; Cumbres San Pedro will take care of the rest.
Pros: 1. This is a wonderful property, vast, well maintained ,well decorated in local Andean style and lot of open spaces 2. The staff is helpful 3. Rooms are spacious, well appointed, beds are huge and super king size, indoor as well as outdoor shower area, good hot water 4. Transport from 1-9 pm from hotel to the downtown 5. Everyone was very serious about COVID protection Cons 1. The hotel is far. Even though it is 2 km from the downtown, the roads are unpaved, dusty, have stray dogs wandering around and cars are coming and going so did not appear safe to walk. Good only if you are planning outdoor activities not involving the downtown or planning the trip within the specified hours and have an active cell phone to call the driver. 2. The hotel is not geared for non-Spanish speaking tourists 3. Options for vegetarians is limited, How many times could one have pumpkin soup during a 5 night stay? 4. On our last day, there was a buffet breakfast with good options but other 4 days, breakfast was continental with limited options. Not something i had expected from a hotel with any number of stars. 5. Room service is not up to the advertised standard. I ordered tea and it was tepid water and paper cups. Who serves room service in paper cups? 6. The travel arrangement personnel try to help but language is a major issue, despite google translate. They made major blunders in our bookings and did not tell us about the correct process. They conveniently forgot to tell us that our reservations/bookings for lake Miscanti had to be reconfirmed in Socaire! Try not to book anything with them if you do not speak Spanish. 7. The rooms are far from the reception and though paths are well lit, it was challenging to walk when the temperatures were around 0 Celsius. 8. The room heating was not turned on until asked even though the outside temperatures were around zero. Overall, Felipe (daytime) and Christopher (nighttime) staff were unbelievably helpful and we could not have survived the hotel stay without them. Will I come here again? Perhaps no as the hotel is not geared for non Spanish speaking, tea drinking vegetarian tourists!

Noi Casa Atacama is located in the heart of the town of San Pedro, ideal to walk around the environment and discover the secrets of the ancient cultures of northern Chile. Hidden paths, ancestral treasures and wonderful postcards of the driest desert in the world, you can meet with us.
The stay was comfortable, and the staff was friendly, but the hotel could use some upgrades. I would not recommend the restaurant and the internet was almost non-existent. The pool was freezing cold. However, other properties in town would probably have the same issues. The hotel was too expensive for what you get.

Nayara Hangaroa, the newest hotel property on Easter Island located just a 5-minute walk from the island's only town, Hanga Roa. It features 75 elegant and smartly decorated rooms, the Poerava and Kaloa restaurants, the deluxe Manavai Spa, an outdoor swimming pool and its Vaikoa bar, a reading room and excursion center, a 60-person auditorium, and 300-person conference space for cultural seminars, dance, and music presentations or corporate meetings. Nayara Hangaroa sits high on a dramatic, steep-sloped cliff facing the Pacific Ocean, and all guestrooms boast panoramic windows and terraces with sea views. Nayara Hangaroa offers flexible programs from Bed & Breakfast to Full Board packages that include lodging, excursions, and all meals and beverages. Each detail of the hotel's architectural design and functionality is cutting edge. Inspired by the Orongo ceremonial village and site of the island's Bird Man ritual, all of the walls are curved and topped with grass roofs. They favor natural light and landscaping of local flora and fauna that allow the hotel to artfully blend into its natural environment.
I had the chance to spend one week in this superb hotel in the magic island of Hangaroa. An all-inclusive upscale experience with honest price and for many atributes a one-of-a-kind option. From spacious rooms to gourmet à la carte meals served to impress the taste and the eyes. The staff was super friendly and even tricycle rentals, the best way to circundate and truly know the island were included in the full board package. I strongly recomend.

Just off the main street, the 21 charming wood and adobe cabin-like rooms with terrace, distributed amongst the fruit trees and shady paths reminiscent in its arrangement and calm, of an ancient settlement – is Hotel Poblado Kimal.
We had the worst experience in this hotel. We book a room with garden view and a terrace at Poblado Kimal hotel, but when we arrive, they tell us that the hotel was overbooked and they forced us to went to Kimal Hotel, other building from the same owner, located across the street, but it was older and in worst condition. The experience there was really awful. Our room was very dark and had just a tiny window. In the morning we had problems with the hot water in the shower. They explain us it was because we take the shower too early in the morning!!! It was around 7 AM and of course, It was early but most of the tourist have the same schedules in San Pedro, because the trips to the attractions starts very early in the morning. When we ask for a new room, the just left us waiting and nothing happen. Also, the reception staff gave us very poor advice and tips for took special tours in the area The worst part of our stay at Kimal Hotel came just at the end when they removed our stuffs from the room before checkout hour and without our authorization. In summary, according to our experience, Poblado Kimal and Kimal hotels offer an expensive and poor quality service. There are better options for less money in town.

"Look out the window and see this scene, breathe the mountain air, feel the breeze and be embraced by the hills, makes you forget the city, stress, smog, and you feel slowly lulled by the rhythm of the nature. Going back to nature, seeing the stars, listening to the noise of the water, the song of the birds, the gentle swaying of the snowflakes in winter, the rain and the silence, make us closer to the essential, this is San Francisco Lodge. This is how San Francisco Lodge was born, a meeting place only 90 minutes away from Santiago de Chile and Viña del Mar, nestled in the mountain of the V Region, and which has become a refuge of warmth, entertainment and relaxation not only for lovers of the nature that seeks to escape from the cement of the urban centers, but also an ideal space where couples and families converge on walks, walks between lagoons and forests, meals around a grill with free conversation, taking unforgettable memories back home.
I accompanied my partner on his business trip, so I went solo on every activity. Every single person that works here was just lovely to me. I walked all over the grounds, met all of the animals at the farm (horses, cows, llamas, deer, etc.), had a coffee scrub at the spa and soaked in the jacuzzi. Everyone pampered us a lot. Specially Alejandro, the chef, who was open, kind and understanding in making us special vegan requests. This place is beutiful: ponds in the forest, veggie gardens, geese quacking around, baby horses, heated pool, kayaks, just a lot.

A pool and free breakfast will also help to make your stay even more special. If you are driving to Sami Atacama Lodge, free parking is available.
The lady who works here is so lovely! We arrived quite late, having some hassle at the airport and didn’t have dinner yet. Even though the kitchen was closed and our Spanish is not great, she offered to cook some food for us so we wouldn’t go to bed hungry. And this kind of service continued throughout our stay; breakfast could be serve when how and where ever you preferred. There are some cute dogs and cats walking around and there even is a small pool and jacuzzi which is great for chilling after a hike or trip in Atacama. The rooms are cleaned everyday and are very nice and cool (fan is also available). Only cons: parking is available but quite limited and you will block each other, which can be inconvenient with some guests having to leave earlier than others. Twice this became a bit problematic but was eventually solved. And WiFi can definitely be better. However, we would stay here again if we would come back because the service and the rooms (good rate as well) were great !

Nayara Alto Hotel is an amazing and magical place. It has a prime location for the perfect retreat. We had a wonderful time and we very much enjoyed our stay. The entire staff was very friendly, professional and attentive. We specially appreciated very much the hostess Rosario for her availability at any time, her precious advices, her continuous concern about our comfort, and her efficiency to follow up and rapidly solve the minor problem we faced regarding the heating in our room. We felt we were dealing with a friend. Thank you Rosario for everything… And many thanks to Nayara management for having her on your team.!

Bienvenidos a Termas Puyehue Wellness & SPA Resort, un lugar único inserto en las 107.000 hectáreas del Parque Nacional Puyehue. Un escenario mágico que te invita a soñar junto al primer All Inclusive de Chile.
We stayed here many years ago and the place was tired. Now we returned and found a much nicer hotel. Most of the common areas have been very well restored to their former glory. The superior room where we stayed was very nicely renovated too. The pool and pool area were great and well maintained. Covid protocols were enforced, which we thank. The food was good, not outstanding. The grounds of the hotel and the surrounding areas are breathtakingly beautiful. We would return in the future.

Tierra Atacama is a boutique hotel on the edge of San Pedro de Atacama. It was created by the Purcell family, long time owners and operators of hotels, famous in Chile for the excellent food and warm hospitality. Tierra Atacama provides guest experiences that combine outdoor adventure and sports with indoor comforts, hospitality and excellent service. Tierra Atacama’s architecture, interior design and gardens were designed by some of Chile’s leading creative talent. Our objectives were to be as authentic as possible, using furniture and accessories handmade with local materials, while also creating a place that allows guests to relax, spoil themselves and enjoy the good-life in this magical part of the earth. Our ambiance is casual and friendly; we want our guests to be comfortable in our common areas just as if they were in their own homes. Enjoy one of the welcoming private corners of the hotel such as a seat by one of the terrace fire pits, lounge next to the pool or relax on one of the shady outdoor decks. When night falls, take in the brilliant stars, bask in the peace and wonder that is the Atacama Desert.
We live in Santiago and have been to San Pedro before. We decided to come to the Tierra because we had just stayed at the Tierra Patagonia and found this brand to be excellent in all respects. The hotel did not disappoint. We would consider coming again to this hotel on our next trip to San Pedro.

This was my second stay at Awasi Patagonia, last time was almost 8 years ago. First time with my brother and this second time with my family, two boys aged 10 and 12. We had been in Chile and Patagonia for a week prior to arriving at Awasi Patagonia, and had been dismayed with many hotels being short staffed and delivering sub-par, slow service. Something we have been seeing worldwide since the pandemic. Arriving at Awasi Patagonia this all changed. Service was absolutely seamless and beyond the expected. From the general manager, Cristian, to the hosts, wait staff, housekeeping. they were all just a pleasure to be around and seemed genuinely happy to be delivering hospitality again after the pandemic. Special mention to our guide, Christian Hess, who our kids loved to be around and who really got us off the beaten path. After spending a few days in the heart of the National Park at another property, passing many people on the more well know trails, it was refreshing to explore less known, but equally as impressive, parts of the National Park, and beyond - without seeing anyone. Our full day excursion to Sierra Baguales, outside the park, was the highlight of our entire trip to Chile. This was our first time in Patagonia during the Austral fall and it was majestic with the colors of the leaves, less crowds and little wind. Shows tat exploring places beyond the traditional "high season" really pays off. Kudos to Awasi for investing in your staff and delivering unparalleled service to your guests during these still turbulent times in travel.
