This is a beautiful park where you can stroll around the lake or take an on/off sightseeing “train” that comes by every 15 minutes. Visit a Buddhist temple, a nunnery, and shrines. There are picnic areas, a museum, a playground, but also places so quiet and peaceful you don’t notice the rest.

Our visit to Zhanjiang was short but we made time to walk through this park twice because it was so pretty, pleasant, and relaxing. Because we went at two very different times, high tide and low tide, the views were completely different. One monumental sculpture actually appears to be swimming at high tide.
