Zandvort is to Amsterdam what Brighton is to London--a large seaside resort easily reached by train. It takes half an hour to get there from Central Station. Going to Zandvoort aan Zee was a great bonus to our Amsterdam vacation. Only 30 minutes with train from Amsterdam Central you think that you are in Greece, Spain or Italy. A seemingly endless, clean beach with the possibility to find something to eat and drink a long the way. If the weather permits, I will plan for a day at Zandvoort aan Zee the next time I go to Amsterdam.

What a great place.. staff are helpful and welcome.. the coffeeshop has secured entrance and a great selection of "stuff" and the coffee is great too. Lots of space and split over 2 floors you can find your little corner and chill out. The bar next door is always welcoming.. it's family friendly and also spacious.
