Welcome to Young's sweetest tourist attraction! Poppa's is a fantastic lolly shop manufacturing fudge, jams, chutneys, sauce and cherry products. Poppa grows it on his farm and makes it on the premises. You'll also find a huge gift emporium filled with unique homeware and giftware and is a exclusive Ecoya Products.
Lovely shop with a great selection of items, both gifts and for yourself. Fabulous friendly service is the real draw card and would visit again.

Enjoy a relaxing wander through the gardens and enjoy the 'Pool of Tranquility'. The gardens located at Chinaman's Dam look spectacular all year round. Picnic facilities, barbeques and toilet facilities are all available on site making it a perfect stop for lunch. Entry is free of charge
A great spot for an afternoon walk and family picnic area. There are places to sit, play soccer or cricket, fish and just walk around the lovely grounds. A wonderful tribute to the heartache that occurred and now instead of sadness, a place of real joy for families and friends wanting to make the most of their stay. If you only have a short time in Young, I highly recommend coming here!

We went in there. The staff were very Covid conscious and safe. Above all though they were EXCEPTIONALLY helpful. A young guy served us (i feel bad for not remembering his name)... but he was excellent! Knew which sights were closed due to Covid and even recommended alternative activities. In the actual centre itself you could buy a wide range of local produce including jams and wines! A great place to start your visit in Young! It also happens to be the place of the big cherries!

Beautiful huge orchard with many trees of two variety of cherries. We located via following drive where a staff member drove up to take us to the chosen area ready for picking, was given a bucket to use as a plastic bag support which can be held supported over your arm instead of just a plastic bag that could rip open . Was such a fun self pick of cherries where a number of other public pickers drove up also to and when you’ve decided you’ve picked as much as you want to take home the final cost per kg was awesome compared to what I have been paying from a usual suburban fruit shop at this start of season. This is the cherry farm I will be going to for a fruit pick again next time hoping the peaches will be available also to pick

Some of the smoothest and creative spirits we've ever had. A small distillery but the owner was so helpful. Happy for us to try whatever we wanted, recommended more but was never pushy. A great stop where you can spend as much or as little time as you want.
