The gentleman who owns this place is a down to earth guy next door kind of fellow. It's unbelievable what he has done to his private residence. Lots of fun, interesting history, full of antiques and auto memorabilia. Clever design for a 50's grill and old time movie theatre..although none are functional. Great collection of gas pumps.
He obviously has a great sense of humor. PLUS... he rents out his back yard for events.
Definitely worth a drive by and if you have time, a peek inside too.

The California Agriculture Museum is home to the nation's most unique collection of tractors and agriculture artifacts -- telling the history of farm-to-fork. The museum is dedicated to enhancing understanding and appreciation of California's rich cultural heritage through the presentation of its collection and rotating exhibits. The museum's core collection was established by Fred Heidrick Senior and consists of rare examples of tractors, harvester, horse-drawn wagons, and other artifacts that tell the California story.
A friend suggested that we visit this unique museum. We enjoyed a laid back stroll through decades of agricultural displays with restored or maintained equipment. Well worth a stop.

The play Footloose is performed in an old Woodland Opera House. We watched this modern day play in an old theater with padded seats and carpet on the floor. Love how the city has built a night life around this theater. They have several plays a year performed by young acting students. A good experience for them and the audience feel like they go back in time. A fun evening.

Gotta get there early for the freshest biggest selection of tasty treats! There is often a line so be patient. Their menu and daily specials are expansive and delightful. I often have them cut in half for my study group, and they're gone quickly. Enjoy! Go to cookieconnection.com for a view of all they do in the way of specialized cookies.

Wake Board Cable Park We provide water sport at their finest with out the use of a water craft Paddle boarding.Knee Boarding.Wake skating
Its a classic 5 mast Wakeboard Cable. The obstacles are top notch quality from Germany (Unit). Double/Twin line riding is allowed. The island inside the lake is the reason for always perfect water and hardly any wakes. You can grab burgers and wings a the cable restaurant and have a nice sundowner draft beer.
On a normal day, there are no waiting lines , just pure riding.
The staff is more than friendly and if you are a beginner , they will teach you wake boarding on two different 2.0 systems right next to the full size cable.

Fully restored historic theater featuring new multiplex addition, luxury seating and recliners with reserved seating, cafe, beer and wine.
Our first movie in the newly renovated State Theater was very enjoyable. Big cushy seats with swivel tables, reserved seating, excellent sound system, and friendly staff make the experience more than just going to see a movie. Besides the usual concession stand there is an inside café serving pizza, sandwiches, beer, and wine. The proximity to downtown bars and restaurants is also an upside. The movie was preceded by at least ten minutes of ads and trailers. Parking lots are a few short blocks away. The building itself has retained a lot of the art deco features that made this theater worth saving.

The rose garden at the library is cared for by the Woodland Library Rose Club, a volunteer based organization that cares for the roses and maintains the grounds around the library. This organization also does various charitable activities for the local community. And best of all, you can enjoy the fruit of their labor for free!

We went to see Finding Dory at the Cinemark Movies 5 when we were visiting Woodland.
They have five movie theaters that show primarily first run movies.
The staff is very nice. Since we were there on a Tuesday night we could go inside and buy our snacks and ticket at the same time.
The theaters are at smaller size with traditional theater chairs (i.e. not recliners)
Price for a movie on Tuesday was very reasonable.
We had a good time. Is it the best movie theater? No - but its a really fun place to see a movie when in Woodland.

So many pretty things and unusual items that I find it hard to describe. Things for the garden and kitchen, stationary, clocks, socks, and rocks, and more. Whatever you buy will be cheerfully gift wrapped for free. It's okay to come in and just look. They know you'll be back.
