This festival provides so much to so many! The kids, young people and adults all have a variety of choices on workshops, information sessions, comedy and music. The wide variety of food is very delicious although a little pricey especially if you are visiting for the week or taking a family. Nothing stopping you from taking your own food in though. My friends and I are already counting down to this year festival - only 50 weeks to go! It’s a special place with special vibe for artists, volunteers and patrons.

We went to the Woodford Information Centre to find out about the nearby D’Aguilar National Park. The lady not only told us about the road conditions and things to see but also printed off coloured maps and info sheets. She also told us about the local Windows of Woodford artworks which depict the history and lifestyle of people living in Woodford .

We were in Woodford and went to the information centre to find out about things to do around the district when we noticed the Leopard Tank across the road. The tank is in wonderful condition and was great to have a look at. Good time to stand and reflect on the armed forces who served for our country to give us the freedom we have today.
Right in the heart of Woodford & only one hour's drive from the Sunshine Coast & Brisbane is the Woodford Museum. The Museum is a exhibition hub for the history of Woodford's early settlers & explorers. The museum holds collected items and photographs covering the time from when the Archer Brothers first settled at Durundur in 1841 and is home of the Mick Draper collection of miniature buildings.
