This lovely, relaxed winery is small and family-owned, and it shows. We got to meet the owner during our visit, and we got an interesting bit of history about the winery and the general region. They have both whites and reds (everything is delicious), and they have snacks to share to offset the alcohol in the wine. It's a gorgeous place to sit, relax, and enjoy the scenery. The staff are knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the wine and the winery in general.

This calm, quiet, nature center is a great way to get out and enjoy nature, especially since this center is dedicated to fostering the appreciation of the outdoors. They have a wide variety of educational activities (although you should check the calendar, in case they change things due to COVID): they have trail hikes, photography sessions, beekeeping, and an assortment of children's activities. This is a wonderful place to connect to the outdoors and to learn something interesting at the same time.

Negative Ions are known for their ability to remove toxins, bacteria and pollutants, along with providing energy-healing properties but you don't have to travel to the beach or Mount Everest to find it. Instead, you can wander the crystalline chambers of Salt of the Earth Therapeutic Spa, where you experience anywhere from 5000 to 12,000 particles of negative ions in each Salt room, providing certified, lab tested, pure therapeutic grade air. In the main room, low amber light complements stone walls inlaid with massive salt rocks, cultivating an otherworldly feel for the patrons lying back in lounge chairs. By contrast, the family room is colorful with oceanic scenery. Negative Ion exposure offers healing benefits for those with depression, anxiety, respiratory conditions and in need of immune support. Salt therapy, $25.00. Bodywork treatments, InfraRed Therapy, Reflexology, Hot Stone Therapy, Sound Healing, Yoga and Meditation classes available. Services run from $25.00 to $180.00.
I have been to many salt caves, this one is a true healing environment. Every element is selected to achieve health and vitality. From their water, the air you breathe, the people you speak to... All have an authentic passion for a healthy body, mind, soul and planet. ???????? Thank you. The massage and energy treatment was amazing. Yoga in the cave - unique and intimate, I loved it The structured water, and amazing salt products all hand selected by wise and knowledgeable staff... I left with a water carafe and grounding salt oil. ????

Yes, it's a pharmacy. But pharmacists Mary and her sister Ruth are a treasure trove of local lore. Mary's blue-ribbon jellies are for sale, and if you need a jigsaw puzzle for a cold winter's day, they have a large assortment. So too, there is an eclectic mix of soaps, unguents, potions, penny candy, and quick gifts that folks will find different and thoughtful. Check it out, and then go next door for a quick and good haircut.
