The Museum is located at the Little League International Complex, site of the annual Little League Baseball World Series. Visit the 10,000-square foot Museum, with hands-on exhibits and interactive displays for all ages. General Admission is just $5; seniors 62 and over, $3; Children ages 5-12, $2; Under 5, free. Audio Tour Guides in multiple languages are available, too. Then take the self-guided walking tour of the complex, see where the World Series players live during the tournament, and check out the two stadiums seen every August on ABC and ESPN. If visiting during the Little League Baseball World Series, remember that admission to watch the games is FREE. Tickets are NOT required for most seats, and never required to sit on the famous "Hill" overlooking Lamade Stadium. Parking is free too.
Our kids were attending the baseball camp so it gives us an opportunity to spend some time in the museum. A meaningful tribute to one of the longest running youth sports organizations. It gives you a great taste of history, of sport and the bigger picture of why kids compete. Lots of emotional pieces in the museum. It doesn't take long to get through so enjoy every part of it.

The Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society chronicles the history of our region from American Indian occupation through 20th century industry and life. Exhibits include an American Indian gallery, a Fine and Decorative Arts gallery, 19th century period rooms, and the Shempp Model Train exhibit with over 300 toy trains, and period rooms depicting life from the 1700s through the 1900s. Exhibits change often, keeping the Historical Society fresh and interesting for every visit. The museum also includes a local history and genealogy research library.
We drove to Williamsport to see the museums exhibit on 'mourning and death practices in the Victorian period.' It definitely didn't disappoint. The exhibit was well laid out (sorry bad pun) and the items were some that I had never seen before. The museum also had a great train display as well as history of Lycoming County and other history of the area. Put on your walking shoes- there is a lot to see. There are also hands on activities for the kids!

Enjoy the Phillies Class A Williamsport Crosscutters in the historic setting of Bowman Field!
I was very excited to try a new (old) ballpark at Bowman Field.
I liked the charming old field, but underwhelmed by the poor customer service.
The ticket director wouldn't allow my friends to shop (five hours) before game time (most minor league teams LOVE to sell stuff in down hours,it's free money),got angry when the GM overruled him (to make close to 100 dollars),then when the gates did open, refused to allow us to leave and then return.
Combined with another employee that refused to let people in areas anywhere near the field and I had the worst customer experience anywhere short of Hagerstown MD.
Neat ballpark,lousy customer service....

wow, a visitors' center downtown, usually they retreat to the suburbs... a nice, convenient, well-staffed introduction to a town which is not little league-only, friendly staff, very convenient hours

The Community Theatre League (CTL) has been Williamsport's premiere community-based theatre organization since 1976. Occupying its current space since 2000, CTL offers plays, musicals, concerts, student programming, and much more. Opened in 2016, CTL's educational branch, the Community Academy of Stage and Theatre, serves as Williamsport 's best source for all-ages theatre education, summer theatre camps, cross-campus workshops, and vocal lessons. The Jason J. Moyer Studio Theatre, an aditional part of CAST, features more intimate and edgier dramas in its 50-seat theatre as part of it's "Studio Series". CTL and CAST are conveniently located near I-180, U.S. Highway 15, and PA Route 220. During performances, parking is free in the public parking deck directly across the street from CTL.
Great little theater for local performers to gain experience. We love live theater, so this is a very nice small venue to experience a variety of shows. The children's shows are very good, and not too long for the little ones. Occasionally a performance is "over the top" good - but all are enjoyable - and certainly the price is very good (inexpensive).

Situated on a shaded mountainside is Mountain Top Distillery. It shares the same building as Bastress Mountain Winery and offers a variety of brandy, corn whiskey and moonshine. The distillery is set among the trees with a cool, relaxing covered patio next to a small fish pond. A pleasant place to relax and enjoy.
Due to Pennsylvania law, the arrangements of the distillery and winery are a bit unusual. Since both the winery and distillery are operated seperatly with the winery is housed in the gift shop and the distillery is just a small corner bar in the rental hall. You cannot use the hall connecting the two and must go out and walk to the other entrance when going from wine to spirits and vice-versa. Because of the distillery's location (tasting in the corner of an empty hall) is why I rate this a 3 instead of the 4 I give the winery.

There is a long path on both sides of the Susquehanna. It's excellent for walking, jogging or cycling.
If you go to the eastern part of the path, from the Market St Bridge (either side of the river), it's quieter. Can see some good nature there.
Wish every town had something like this!

We found out about this cemetery only because our friends' brother cleared the brush and weeds from it as part of his Eagle Scout project. As the historical marker says, the land belonged to Daniel Hughes, who helped fugitive slaves escape along the Underground Railroad. The occupants of nine graves have been identified as African-American civil war veterans, but others may belong to former slaves.
I rate this cemetery 5 stars not because if its appearance. It really looks like an old cemetery, but that is the point; a place this significant deserves better.
