The beach was very clean and beautiful. Being from North Carolina we do not need tags to go on the beach, so we were kind of shock you have to buy tags to get on the beach before 5pm in New Jersey. Therefore, we walked around the stores til we could get on the beach after 5pm.

Tasted 5 wines and they were all delicious. Not the sweet crap that so many places on the East Coast. These wines reflect Italy and California, dry with great tannins. Get here early, as the tasting room is small and fills up quick:

Sunset Beach Gift Shop

Sunset Beach is one of the East Coast's most unique beaches. Voted Top 25 beaches by Trip Advisor in 2013, Sunset Beach is located at the very tip of South Jersey and the end of Sunset Boulevard. Sunset Beach offers an unobstructed view of spectacular sunsets over the waters of the Delaware Bay. Atmospheric conditions caused by the of sea breezes across the bay waters create spectacular colors as the sun sinks below the horizon. For over 50 years just off the coast of Sunset Beach lies the concrete ship "Atlantus". Thousands of visitors come annually to view the cracked, weather beaten hull and watch the sunset over the remains of the ship. You'll love shopping their gift shops, playing a round of mini golf, beachcombing for Cape May diamonds or grabbing a bite to eat at The Grille (Grille open April-October.) Be sure to experience the Evening Flag Ceremony Honoring an American Veteran every evening at 7pm Memorial Weekend through August 31. (Saturdays in September at 6pm)

Stopped here one evening to watch the sunset...afterall, it is "sunset" beach; it gets very crowded and there is little parking; walked into this little shop to see what they had; they have alittle of everything. If you are looking for Cape May trinkets to take home, this is a good place to find something and then some. Then you can walk along the beach, set up your chairs and take it all in.

He was even able to imitate their calls for us! We had a blast!

Cape May Carriage Company

We are a horse-drawn carriage company. We provide guided tours through Historic district of Cape May.We would like to fully explain why we do not accept credit cards. We are located at the corner of Ocean and Washington St. we have a small unprotected mobile table that has no power,no phone and no protection from the weather. We cannot get a phone jack which is needed to take credit cards because we do not have a store front.Cape May is an island with terrible satellite and cell reception therefore the mobile credit card devices also do not help us.There are other very expensive mobile devices that are weather sensitive and do to the fact that we have no protection from the elements ,that is not an option either. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause to some .There is an ATM located directly behind where we are parked. We hope that you enjoy the horse and carriages and the joy, and beauty they bring to the hundreds of people who ride each year.

This was the best time. Love strolling around the streets of Cape May in the carriage. Our tour guide was very fun and knew all the info about the houses in Cape May. Sammie the horse did a great job taking us around town. Wish it was longer. Would recommend this to anyone.
