Monkey Trunks offers fun for children, adults and families! Participants begin with ground school and receive safety instructions on how to navigate through the course. They then move on to the green course to demonstrate they have the ability to properly use their equipment. After completing these two stages, participants will progress through the levels - each level becomes progressively more challenging! Monkey Trunks courses feature ziplines, swinging beams, tightropes, rolling logs, hanging tires, cargo nets and more! Each Monkey Trunks location includes a children's course for the littlest of monkeys, with platforms no more than 6' off the ground. The children's courses include 6-8 challenges with an 80' zipline at the finish. Reservations are encouraged and can be made anytime online or by phone! Our Weirs Beach location offers a unique experience - zipping at night!

Game arcade offering a special room of working vintage 1970s and '80s games.
While on vacation, a Nor’easter struck the region. So we decided to find something todo inside. The hotel had a brochure about the largest amusement center. They were not kidding. The first floor of a large building had so many of the old pinball machines and arcade games from past years. It was like stepping back in time when these games commonplace. It was great to play them again and show our son what he missed before his childhood. They also have a bowling alley downstairs and a 18 hole miniature golf course. We had so much fun as time stood still for a few hours. This is a must for all families.

While staying at Half Moon cottages, my family visited the Weirs Beach. The beach is very clean, and provides spectacular views of the mountains, and the many boats that travel on the lake. The beach is well maintained, and it is a perfect place for a picnic. There are tables, and plenty of places for the perfect "photo op." We returned to the beach, as part of our annual trip to celebrate a family wedding anniversary. The local residents are very friendly.

Set on the shores of scenic Lake Winnipesaukee, this weeklong bonanza of biker activity revs the engines of motorcycle enthusiasts from across America as they rally to attend a range of events including loads of competitions, lots of live entertainment, and the New Hampshire State Police escorted Peter Markis Memorial Ride around the lake.
Spent a great week at Bike week 2018, took family who had never been there. Awesome bikes, deals on bikes and supplies and just a great time all around. Riding the local back roads is a blast.

We enjoyed our boat trip across the lake, and the pizza at the corner across from the boat and train stations was very good. It's cheaper for a family of four to buy 1 18" pizza than to buy four individual slices. But very enjoyable. Bring games so that you don't get board (card games etc) but if you forget you can buy a deck of cards in the gift shop.
