Weert (Dutch pronunciation: [ʋeːrt] ( listen); Limburgish: Wieërt, local pronunciation: [βiəʀt]) is a municipality and city in the southeastern Netherlands. Weert had a population of 49,651 in 2017. It lies on the Eindhoven–Maastricht railway line, and is also astride the Zuid-Willemsvaart canal.

This church was built in 1456, making it one of the older churches in the Netherlands, added to that unlike a lot of other churches it is richly decorated ( because it is a roman catholic church in the south east of the Netherlands, which managed to escape the iconoclastic fury of the 16th century), so there's actually something to see besides the architecture!.
Also for those who don't mind climbing stairs, there's the possibility to enjoy the view of one of the highest church towers in the Netherlands (104 meters).
Check their site, as the tower is not open the whole year round.

A small semi-subtropical swimming pool with three main baths indoors and some large outdoor ones. Had a great day bringing a 3year old and a 3month old. Very neatly maintained and friendly staff.

ECO Klimbos Weert has 4 parcours with different obstacles between the trees. These parcours build up in difficulty and height. In 2,5 hour you can climb these parcours. In the first parcours it's about 3 meter high. In the last parcours it's about 9,5 meter! This will give you a unforgettable day in the forest for young and old. You are more than welcome in Klimbos Weert!

This place does need to grow in size. It is like a seasonal climbing camping ground. Kids loved trying this& the drinks& snack choices. Good job& great idea!Thank you! We like to see you again

Je kunt er de bieren proeven die daar gemaakt worden, er is een proeflokaal, nu de tijd voor de Wertha Bokbier. het gaat er heel gezellig aan toe, en de Presentatie is geweldig, loop zeker is binnen.

This is an amazing place ... nicely kept in a great condition by a group of volunteers. Received a great explanation of the hows and whats of milling, that we had to mix three languages, Dutch, German and English made it even more enjoyable.

Located at an unique, central and green location in the centre of Weert Theater De huiskamer creates a informal ambiance. Our theater shows are evening programs, and presented in an intimate ambiance. Guests are greeted in our foyer, after the show, dinner is served in the Theater cafe.

This small theather is like a living room. They organize evenings with an Artist and the owner will cook for you. No fancy food, as you can expect home cooking.

Opposite to the church you will find the Jacob van Horne Museum in the former town hall (that dates back to 1543). The museum is dedicated to the order of Fransiscus of Assisi and shows statues, silver, paintings and other artifacts from the middle ages.
Not that big, but looking at what is on display and in combination with a visit to the church it is surely worth a visit.

Na afzien in het Klimbos door naar de waterskibaan. Leuke combo vooraf te boeken! Prima uitleg maar ondanks dat toch even wennen aan zo'n kabel. Daarna mooie rondjes kunnen skiën tot de armen het niet meer vol hielden 1,5u is prima veel langer houd je niet vol vrees ik. Watertemperatuur was zeer aangenaam. Tot de volgende x.
